Cavo Lounge

Visited Cavo yesterday, and tonight. Yesterday’s experience was better than tonight’s. Tonight we sat at the bar, ordered drinks from an older man, drinks were great. Give it a few minutes, not a bartender in sight, quite the problem for a 30 foot bar if you ask me. We tried to close out for maybe 10 minutes after sitting with empty drinks for who knows how long, along with the other couples we did not know sitting at the same bar area as us. The other couples were finally able to close out and the bartender with the long blonde hair was unfortunately way too into making googley eyes with the men sitting across the bar from us to close our tab.
This is where Cavo leaves a bad taste in my mouth. As we finally get the blonde girls attention to close out, she asks us if we have a tab as if she doesn’t believe us that we don’t. The older man who was bartending when we first got there never asked for a card or a name, sorry not our fault. She then asks what we drank, we told her. She still proceeds to ask if we have a tab. Finally get our bill and she hands us someone else’s tab, she then looks at us like we are stupid and claims we didn’t drink what we drank. As we were leaving, I let the hostess stand know how bad the service was and they claimed she was new, why is she the only one at the bar if she’s that new?
All in all, very dissatisfying experience. I really enjoyed the atmosphere besides the blonde who was too into showing her boobs to the guys than charging us for the correct drinks.

I went to the Cavo Lounge with a friend on a Monday night after a dinner in the Mercato.
It was quiet, not a lot of people. A man was playing at the piano and he was really really really good. Good music, good singer, nothing more!
The staff was welcoming and provided a lot of attention with a lot of smiles. Definitely a good, customized and fast service. The drinks were good and the price ok. The decoration and atmosphere are a real plus. This is a good spot.

Cavo lounge is like blue martini without the cover charge. Great atmosphere, though a little loud at times, too many guys, and there’s this weird 50-​something year old guy who always shows up and hogs the dance floor by dancing alone. The drinks are very pricy, but it’s Mercato, so everywhere else in the plaza is almost just as expensive. A good Saturday-​night place to take a date or a group of friends who want to dance the night away. Just be sure to pregame first or else you’ll each wind up with a 100-​something bar tab the next day.

A delicious experience. We were gong to Blue Martini because it was recommended. This is amazing. I recommend this place. Nice courteous gorgeous looking servers. One in training. So nice. Helpful. Smiling. Great food. And it’s way way less noisy than B. M. Defiantly be back. Oh Octopus Meatballs Pasta weer gr8

Nice place to go for happy hour after work. Most happy hours in Mercato close at 6pm but this one is until 8pm. It’s still expensive with happy hour, so watch out!
The service was great and the atmosphere was nice and calm on a Tuesday night. We enjoyed ourselves.
We ordered the zucchini chips ($ 8) which had WAY too much oil on them. They made me wish I had only ordered a drink.

Yes, it’s noisy (loud music) but great ambience. We sat at a high top outside which goes around almost the entire restaurant (much less noisy outside). Waitress was very friendly and helpful. Loved the mango Moscow mule drink. They weren’t shy on the alcohol. We had 3 plates and that was just perfect for the two of us. All 3 plates were excellent: tuna tartare with avocado and spicy mayo on side (not too spicy) with tortilla like triangle chips, potato croquettes with prosciutto in them and grilled cheese with Apple & bacon that came with tasty fries. Definitely recommend this place and the items I mentioned.

This place is a gem of a find. Cavo is our go to spot. I would highly recommend Cavo for dinner with friends, professional meeting or just stopping in for a drink. My wife and I are new to Naples, we moved from NY not thinking we would find food as good as it was there. We were happy to find a restaurant with outstanding food that also has live entertainment during the week while enjoying happy hour everyday. Way to go Cavo!!!

Had a great time for a late happy hour on a Friday. No wait to be seated. They had great deals during happy hour for food and signature cocktails were half off. The croquettes, mussels in curry sauce, and sliders were delicious. Though the menu is limited, the quality of the food made up for it. Waitstaff was on point and provided great, friendly service. Only issue was difficult parking. I would return to this place next time that I’m in Naples.

I heard fabulous things about the small plates at Cavo and had to give it a try. We ordered sliders, ceviche, and cavatelli. The ceviche was very flavorful but the portion was so small and it came with maybe five chips. Looked pretty cheap when presented. The sliders and cavatelli were decent size portions and both delicious. We ordered drinks the martini glass comes half full and each round of the same drink tasted different and inconsistent. That was a little disappointing. Service was extremely slow and they were not even busy, it had to be less than half full. There was live entertainment and it was so dull that I didn’t even notice it until someone at my table commented what a waste of money having the guitar player was as he was not a true entertainer. It was ok for some place different. Pretty below par with flavorful food, small portions and bad service.

$ 7 for a bud light and $ 12 for a split of champagne?! Cant forget about waiting four minutes to even be acknowledged at the bar (while we were the only ones there)

Half cool half cheesy. I love that Naples has a «scene» and we fully embraced this place on our most recent trip there. The music is good, the service is okay but classy this spot is NOT!
There were folks all dolled up from a nearby wedding and lots of single people roaming the dance floor. The drink selections were so so and there aren’t high end amenities like booths or coat check that we could see.
If you’re going with your own group, this place is probably a good option for extending the evening. Just don’t expect it to be good for people watching or meeting people.

Nice place to go if you’re interested in a comfortable night club atmosphere. Nice décor, great ambience, music, drinks, nice patio, etc. Food is not so great. Limited menu, boring options. Food quality is pretty good, but it’s not what I’m looking for.
However, great place to meet up with friends for a drink, or two…

So I will say this, I like the place for the way it looks and the easy layout. I am not sure what the focal point is there.

The one star is for the entertainment that was in house tonight. He should get 5 stars but I don’t want that to be misinterpreted Very cool DJ/​live act, guitar Latin, very cool stuff. For me, I’m happy that it’s not crowded but for this establishment that’s not so cool. A new place and its season and there are 6 people here and it’s only 9:30. Maybe it will pick up as a later night spot. Do know from past experiences that the drink pour is, eh, the food? Very eh!!! Don’t know if that’s it or not. Seems Blue Martini captures the masses still. Sorry waited a long time for a new place and it is indeed a gorgeous venue, something is missing though, clearly

We had a work/​holiday party at Cavo. Our service was excellent. She was very sweet and on it. (Long blonde hair) The staff in general had good attitudes which really makes a difference for the overall feel of a place. I appreciated that the tables and chairs were removed to dance. My only slight issue was that the DJ jumped around in genres and would break the flow. The place is packed with latinos. Salsa and merengue gets everyone dancing. People want and need to dance. There are so few places to dance in Naples. My recommendation– drop the top 40 tunes and hip hop. (In general). And play music that really makes the hips swerve. Also, it would be a good idea to have a hot Latin duo teaching Salsa etc on a Sunday night, for instance, then roll out the rhythms. CAVO would pack the place with a latin night.

New hotspot in Naples! Food was delicious but service was slow. Our waitress let us know that everything was tapas sized, so we ordered 2 – 3 dishes per person since we were hungry. We unfortunately found ourselves with quite a bit of leftovers. I would stick to 1 – 2 dishes per person since they were way bigger than our waitress let on. Steer away from the specialty cocktails because they are quite underwhelming yet expensive. Jai Ali on draft… That’s a new one but a welcomed fruity surprise! The octopus was beautiful and delicious! Many pictures to come! (We ordered a lot!)

We thoroughly enjoyed the food and we were lucky the service was great.
There were 8 in our party, we arrived at 5:30, there was plenty of room.
Got a big booth and happy hour wine & drinks.
Saw the reviews and we were cautious
Okay, full pours of wine and drinks were okay.
They must have gotten the message from previous Unilocalers.
The food was great, we heard it was tapas, we expected small potions.
The portions were quite substantial.
We had the happy hour menu
Octopus was excellent as were the chicken lollipops and beef gyros.
Bratwurst sliders, beef & short rib sliders, and cheese plate was very good, I forgot what salad was ordered, we were told the salad & grill cheese was excellent, we weren’t able to try them.
Sliders came with fries, which were very good.
Charcuterie was large and totally shareable
We will return.

The food was pretty good but we had no idea what was on the menu — too fancy. We ordered sliders and gyro which was good. Drinks overpriced and not that good. Service still getting groove on — took away our drink menus and brought water. Server was friendly. Definitely won’t worry about driving home. The inside décor was nice — glad I checked out the bathroom. Women’s wide own and tile wood floor. Nice and clean. I think dancing and maybe dueling pianos would be nice inside but we were not there for late night. We sat outside which was nice but cigar smell from burn was a turn off. Overall once was nice but we won’t go back. Headed to Martini. Too many other better places in Mercato. Cavo needs to step up or step out.
