Citrus is the one restaurant that we must go to whenever we are in Naples. We always stay at the Inn on Fifth club level and Citrus is within walking distance. This time we went for lunch on our way back home to the east coast. We had the fish tacos and the grilled octopus. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. The octopus was so tender and the chorizo gave it just the right amount of saltiness. They have a very good selection of craft beers. We had a Brooklyn Brown and a La Fin du Monde. I would absolutely recommend Citrus! You’ll love it!

My husband and I decided to eat here one night bc there wasn’t a wait. We sat outside and enjoyed it very much. I had the scallops dinner and it was delicious.

Fabulous food and a wonderful staff made for a delightful dinner. I highly recommend the octopus appetizer! We are just visiting Naples and don’t know much about seafood, we let the very knowledgeable waiter select our entrées and they were fabulous. My daughter had snapper and I had hog fish. To finish it off we had the best Keylime tart I’ve ever eaten. Very warm and laid back atmosphere too. Will come back when we are in town again!

This downtown Naples restaurant was excellent. I had the grouper and my husband had the hogfish and both were served to perfection. The atmosphere is open and relaxing, in spite of the construction next door. If you are looking for locally sourced seafood as the centerpiece of your meal, this place is terrific.

Wow, this was our best meal in Florida. My wife had the stone crab cake-perfection; I had the snapper-awesome. Desert was the orange crème brûlée-wonderful! Wish we were staying in Naples for more than a night…

Nice place. Sat outside. We had Mussels to start. They were good, very tender. For the main I had the whole hogfish; it was lightly breaded and then deep fried. Crispy yummy skin and tender juicy meat. Not at all greasy. Very good. My wife ordered the crab cake. It was decent. Not fantastic, but definitely not bad. Desert was a lemon tart thing that was amazing. All in + still and sparkling water $ 110 + tip.

These guys are professional fishermen who look at a fish like a connoisseur appreciates fine art. Yes I’m still talking about a seafood restaurant. From the host, to the servers, Dave in our case, that dress like they’re fresh off the yacht; to the wine and finally the food. Absolutely exquisite. Thank you for an absolutely PERFECTDININGEXPERIENCE. The passion for your craft transcends through your seemingly effortless attitude.

I’ll get right to the point. This place is lovely, but the food was bland and overpriced. There is always room for improvement. #ExcitedButDisappointed

Mhhh cute place, good food, but kind of blah in presentation and taste… And service, really blah. Not a bad experience, but I don’t think I’ll come back…

The Corvina Schnitzel is amazing and a must try. I travel to Germany every quarter and have never seen this on a menu. It was tasty and the combo of fried spaetzle and sprouts finished it off perfectly. The wait staff and owner were very attentive and create a relaxing environment.

Our favorite restaurant in Naples downtown. This is an owner-run, owner-present restaurant with delicious, fresh and local seafood plates and a vast assortment of fish choices. Get there before 7:30p. Great outside seating right on 5th Ave.

Second time there. You don’t want French fries for lunch? Too bad. No substitutions. You want a grouper sandwich? Fine. Pay $ 14 and get a slider with your French fries and 2 tablespoons of slaw. Not going back

The pear and chicken salad is awesome and I can’t wait to go back and get it again. They have a really nice patio that makes it great for sitting out on nice days

We had reservations for a party of 7 this past Friday night. We were immediately greeted warmly, and they gave us the choice of which table to set up. We sat in the bar while we waited for the rest of the party to arrive. We had great conversation with Brooks who gave us a little history on Citrus and some of his recommendations on the wine and the menu. As we were perusing the menu, Brooks came by to show us entrees that he was delivering to other tables. We also had a server in training and he was very attentive, and we also had Brooks checking on us so service was stellar. Can’t say enough great things about the food! Everything was prepared perfectly!

Based on the food, I’d give a very solid 4. Based on our experience, I’m increasing to a 5. We had reservations at 8:30pm on NYE. We had additional reservations at 11:00pm all the way across town to ring in the New Year, so we were in a moderate rush. We arrived at 8:00pm, hoping the table before us had finished. We were a party of 8, and the owner explained that there was another party of 8 that had 6:30 reservations however, there were only 2 ladies left from that reservation finishing their wine and it shouldn’t be long(there was no where else to seat us, every table was filled). At about 8:25pm, the owner politely asked the ladies to move to the bar to finish their wine. They refused. At 8:40pm, he explained that they were making a reservation of 8 wait on just them; and that with his small restaurant he couldn’t easily sit a party of 8 elsewhere. He again asked them to move. They refused. So, he kicked them out. They were NOT happy and said a lot of not very nice things. Come to find out, the group was also a half hour late for their reservations. I bring this up because I truly believe the owner did the right thing, and not just because it was my group that was waiting. The customer is always right has gone too far in my opinion. The owner offered the ladies a spot at the very quiet inside bar to sit at to finish their wine and they refused. Had the owner not been able to seat us; they would have lost out on large tab for a party of 8. Additionally, they would not have been able to fulfill their promise to us for a reservation at 8:30pm. The restaurant is small. While some may say that a reservation is yours and for you to decide when to leave; I disagree. Restaurants have to turn tables to make enough money to keep the doors open and to even be able to offer reservations in the first place. To sit extra long when there are other seats available is completely acceptable; to keep a table of 8 from being sat for 2 people at a packed restaurant is not. On to the rest of the meal… Despite being very, very busy(every table was sat); the food was delivered quickly and cooked excellently. EVERYONE cleaned their plate. The only complaint I have is that the appetizers are very, very small for the price. The meals are fairly well priced for their size and quality. While the appetizers are delicious, I would be cautious ordering as you won’t get much and they are so good, you’ll be wanting more! Our server was also on point with drinks, ordering, and personality. Great place, and we will definitely return. P. S., everything was delicious and the Grouper and the lobster wonton’s were my personal favorites.

I get that Naples on 5th ave will be pricey. So I knew that overpaying was pretty much a given. We were told by the host that while he did have tables now, he had reservations filled by 7:30, so we couldn’t camp out. No biggie, as we had infant with us and had over an hour to get ordered, served and checked. As it was Christmas Eve, they had an abbreviated menu. I ordered a lobster wonton which was listed under small plate. With bread and salad, it was filling but not if you were super hungry. The lobster wonton came with a pineapple curry sauce which I would’ve preferred on the side as it was a bit too much sauce. The food was good, the service adequate, however my daughter sent back her calamari as it was chewy and over cooked. Although they did offer to replace, we didn’t have time. The tacky part I didn’t like was the automatic 20% gratuity. Can see for a large party but not for a table of 3.

I really liked the service at this restaurant! My foot got stung by a bee, and my mom requested a half an onion to place on my foot(Yes, folks, this trick really works for bee stings). They were super nice and concerned with my safety! Other than that, the food was amazing!

Don’t waste your money here. We came here with party of 8, ordered a dozen oysters and Lobster bisque. 3 of the oysters were Bad, told the manager he just took the oysters back. No apologies or explanation? ?? 2 people in our group didn’t touch the Bisque because it tasted weird, waiter never asked why we didn’t eat it. Now the entrées, we order 4 different types of fish, almost all the dishes were under seasoned, how do you not season fish ?? Some kosher salt? My wife order the a Asian fish dish, I will just say don’t order this, or any other fish dish! So the check comes, and the manager tells us that he took off the 3 oysters that we told him were bad ! Are you freaking kidding me? He took away the dish with other oysters on it, which we didn’t want to risk eating and getting sick ! Who does that ?? This is why this place is usually empty.
