My family and I have always tried to get into this restaurant and had never been able to until a few days ago. My expectations were high, since we knew that this place is owned by the same family who owns Campiello, which is one of my favorite restaurants in Naples. Overall, I can say that I was satisfied with the meal, but some aspects could have been better. While the service was good, it seemed that the gentlemen setting the tables and cleaning up would’ve been a better waiter than the one we had. He was far more conversational and open than our waiter, and I almost wished we could’ve asked to give him an audition as a waiter for on our table. The food was very good, and the Sea Bass won over my family with its taste. The atmosphere is modern and sleek, and would definitely be a great hangout spot in season. Overall, I’ll definitely be back often.

Real expensive! A Moscow mule, called tin cup, was$ 18.00. Everything we had was extravagant. I have never had truffles prepared like this. All meat, fish, and children entries were prepared perfectly! Wine list is extensive & a lot of California bottles. Special occasions will return. Cudos to chef Mike.

Came for Christmas Eve dinner. It was good, but not exceptional. I expected a lot more from the place considering the price and location. The early bird specials are a great deal and they let you substitute.

Wonderful experience! This was our second visit — first time for a wedding upstairs. We sat at the bar, ordered a bottle of wine and food. Miranda was our bartender — very accommodating and attentive. We enjoyed the social aspect of the bar, meeting the folks next to us. For dinner, we shared the tuna tar tar, cauliflower, crispy French fries and the ceviche. Also meant to order the Apple chive salad(which we had fallen in love with the first time) but were to full from everything else. The atmosphere was awesome. Slower than anticipated because of season belong over but it was perfect for us. We thought we were going to have to fight for a seat at the bar. Everything was amazing and we will be back very soon to enjoy the amazing food.

I was visiting Naples and got invited to a private party on the upper level of Café Lurcat. This place is impressive. The staff are friendly, welcoming and warm. The venue is gorgeous with a little balcony off of the upstairs which supports seating and hanging out very a la france. I wish I could review the food but alas I did not eat — Looks delicious though.

I got food poisoning from a catering they did. I was shocked that I did by all the things I see about them. I would never cater through them now because of it. It makes me see that their catering division has no idea about food safety!

It was highly recommended and I came expecting it to be amazing. I was at hobnob the night before which was stellar from food to service! It started off a little slow and the server brought our drinks. He then disappeared for at least 15 minutes. My brother had ordered a Pepsi, and we also asked for more water and bread as well. They also brought his salad and never offered ground pepper since they dropped it off and quickly scurried away. The bread and water took longer. The Pepsi finally arrived and was flat. After changing servers it was much better but small things like bread brought and no bread plates and empty dishes left on the table still occurred. The food itself was very tasty but all the searching for servers and people to bring water, bread, drinks, and clear dishes left me wondering what if!

Wow! This place is so cool inside and the food was amazing! I ordered a half Apple chive salad and the ravioli. The salad was refreshing and unique, while the ravioli was rich and amazing. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often.

It’s a bumpin’ spot in downtown Naples. Fancy people, expensive cocktails and high-end dining. My sister, mother and I came here to do a mini-bachelorette night out — I was getting married the weekend after in Naples. Upon arrival we checked in at the front desk and I said we were okay waiting for the outside table and mid conversation the hostess just walked away. No joke, turned, walked back and talked to another employee as I was mid sentence. So now we are standing there awkwardly. Someone else asks us if we need help and I don’t know what to say so we just sort of smile, nod and point to the girl who was still backing us. She comes back and says okay you can wait so we find some lucky seats at a high top and order drinks. Okay. Thanks? Ordered slightly dirty vodka martinis, they gave us really dirty ones. We waited about 45 minutes for a table outside. Service at our table was a bit off and slow. The waiter promised us shots and then denied em when my mom(yes, my mom) asked about them. Food was slow. Good but slow. It’s a hot spot with decent food but I think they could really work on finesse and timing here. For such a well known restaurant group in the area, they should really be a well oiled machine.

I am a big fan of the various D’Amico restaurants for years and living in MSP I have recommended Café Lurcat for years. I have been to this Naples a few times and was frankly surprised at how mediocre our experience was. It was sad. Our waiter, who is either clueless or just majored in being inattentive was a source of frustration. It really is uncool to order that second glass or wine with dinner to show up ¾ through your meal. Accompanied with a comment something like… sorry this arrived so late. No kidding. The food was just plain middle of the road. I had their pork that was described to me as a new addition to the menu was fatty and over sauced in my opinion. Another had the signature sea Bass which she has had numerous time in MPS and said it as just ok. Just ok is not good enough. The potato purée was no purée. Cannot recommend and won’t to those we know. Really disappointed and surprised because we are big fans of Lurcat, Campiello(had an over the top experience during restaurant week at the Eden Prairie location), Parma. Yep this was a disappointment as we were entertaining some good friends. I was very impressed with the apology and response of D’Amico to my review. It means a lot to be heard. Will go back. Thank you Paul

The worst service I have ever had at any of the nice Naples restaurants. Food was cold. Entrees took over an hour to come out. Side dishes came out 5 min after the entrée. Very unfortunate!!! No apology from the server. No attempt to make things right.

There tonight for the first time. We three loved every morsel of food. Service was top notch, the upstairs dining area is beautiful, and not rushed. Won’t go into descriptions of what we had, it’s all in the pictures I posted. Very different, very good! Can’t wait to get back there with others. Their signature salad and signature(dozen) of warm cinnamon sugar donuts was a treat! You won’t go wrong here. Enjoy!

The food here is outstanding. My problem is it’s virtually impossible to book a private party with Café Lurcat. No on ever returns phone calls or emails. They use one of the automated phone directories. You leave and message and it seems to go down into a dark hole.

We had a terrible evening at Café Lurcat. We have been there many times(including business dinners with 20 guests) and we are local. Tonight we noticed a huge change in how they serve their food and treat customers. Three of my guests ordered the 29 $ prix fixed menu. I ordered off the regular menu. I ordered the BLT salad for 14 $ and the classic French duck Cassoulet for 38 $. The salads arrived with very little to no bacon. My salad, the off the menu for $ 14 was the smallest of all and covered about ½ the plate while the prix fixed salads covers the entire salad plate. The main course arrived and it was in no way, shape or form a classic cassoulet. It was a «schemer» of beans with a unreasonably rare and very cold piece of duck breast. It was inedible! I sent the dish back and was offered a new menu from our waitress about FIVE minutes later. That’s a long time when there is a problem! Our waitress NEVER said one word of apology. I was obviously upset as I had no meal while my colleagues were half way through their meal. She dropped the menu and left. I went downstairs to speak with the manager who said he would be right up to address the situation. He never showed up, I never ate. Our waitress abandoned us the remainder of the evening. One of my guests ordered a glass of wine and 20 minutes later asked if it was coming. Our bill showed a «comp» of the salad and the main I never received. Upon leaving I asked for the manager. The hostess went to get him. He came out of the back, saw I was waiting and turned around Nd went back to the kitchen. I never had a chance to speak to him. I WILLNEVERGOBACKTOTHISRESTAURANT! I’d never recommend this restaurant to anyone. It has changed over the years and not for the better.

Always a standout. Aside from the setting, the service and the balcony overlooking 5th Ave. our choices were perfect. Lurcat has a diverse and a semi changing menu focusing on different culinary areas of the world aside from the regular favs. If you crave a good Midwest down home Pot Roast with Roasted Cauliflower as a side you won’t go wrong. Well and the homemade donuts as desert are the happy ending.

This place has always been on my list however I cant believe I waited this long to get there. I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. From the friendly and inviting staff to the quality of the food. This place will be on my list of regulars. I really recommend going there.

Café Lurcat gave me one the more inspiring meals I have had here in Naples. Even though I was there with a friend, it would have been the perfect backdrop for a romantic evening. Outside, light cool breeze, fire burning nearby. The adorable Peter waited on us and even though it was only his third week, the service was excellent. The menu is divided into 3 sections. The first third is the«Seasonal Menu». The middle section is «Traditional» which hosts their persistent favorites. The third section is European flare – currently the winter menu is Parisian inspired. The Traditional menu stays the same while the other 2 sections change every few months. For apps, I started with the ginger fried rice and the escargot. The escargot was a melody with bone marrow, garlic, and panko. Hallelujah! The ginger fried rice lacked the luster I had hoped for… perhaps it was unfairly paired with the escargot which gave me sensory overload. I think it would improve exponentially with a whisp of saffron. For the meal, I ordered the duck from Parisian menu. The duck is the best duck dish I have had in Naples thus far. Duck breast over duck sausage adorned with crispy duck skin(my favorite part!). Perfectly medium rare as it should be. My friend went with the 17 hour brisket and we shared the roasted brussel sprouts with just the right amount of crisp, but supple. The brisket was exquisitely tender. All in all, they have earned my affection. I had to take off a star for the rice and fact that they charge $ 18 for a Moscow Mule. Even if you are using fever tree ginger beer, that is an absolute rip off. That is my drink but no way is your Mule that special.

Food was good but not exceptional to be worthy of the high prices. Ate at the bar. The taco brisket was very good, worth the $ 12. The miso sea bass was also tasty but looked like only 1.5−2 oz, too pricey for the small portion at $ 19. I’ve had miso sea bass apps before at other restaurants for $ 20 but the portions were more generous. The dessert(brownie, gelato) was very good, but again not worth $ 10. Service was slow, the restaurant was not even half full. My guest and I had an insect floating in our water glass. I won’t be returning. I’d rather spend my money at the continental on 3rd for dinner.

Yummmm! The Lurcat burgers are worth the price of admission(so to speak). The apple, cheese & chive salad and roasted cauliflower are not to be missed. And OMG the cocktails and the view from the second floor balcony is incredible!!!

We originally made reservations for 9pm to come in after we did a sunset cruise as part of my bachelorette party. However, our cruise got rained out so we called to see if we could come in at 7 and they said of course. It down poured on the way in but they offered napkins to clean up and tried to help as best as they could. The hostess even said she could have brought out umbrellas for us! We were seated at a high top near the bar and they gave our large group 2 servers which I thought was awesome. No one was super hungry since we didn’t think we were going to be eating so early and they told us we could order from the dinner menu or the bar menu. I mean they really could not have been more accommodating to us! Plus they had some awesome radio station on playing Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, etc. I got the smoked potato and string bean salad. It was ok, but I didn’t think the flavors mixed well. My friend got the apple, cheese and chive salad which I tried and it was REALLY good. Most people got small plates. One friend got the fish and chips and she seemed to enjoy it. People liked their cocktails too although my mom felt her French 75 had too much gin in it. Everyone got dessert too but the favorite was the doughnuts! Our servers brought one out as a complimentary dessert since we were celebrating and we ended up ordering another one. The s’mores dessert was also a hit as was the brownie with salted caramel gelato! I have to say, my favorite part was after dinner and drinks when we asked the manager if he could take a picture of our entire group. He was SO nice about it and took us in front of the restaurant to find some better lighting. He took as many as we wanted and then gave us bar recommendations to finish off the night. I don’t know his name but he was great!
