Great place, next time I’m in Naples I will go back. Very professional and clean, I was pleased with my color and highlights.

I was a client at MT for over 10 years. Michael always did a fabulous job on my hair. Never once did I have a problem with pieces of hair that were left gray and color not absorbing. He decided to step away from the chair and I asked for his wife Denise to do my hair. She seemed annoyed that she would have to fit me in. I have left there and had to use gray cover up several times a day after getting color. I do understand that my hair is resistant and formula had to be changed which she did. Denise is in such a hurry that color is missed. It seems since they moved it is like a factory in there now. So disappointed. The straw that broke the camels back is my appointments are always at 9:00a.m. I get an appointment reminder for 10:00 a.m., I called and asked for Denise to call me to see what could be done. She called eft a message «we talked about this when we booked your appointments «. Well my appointments were booked in June, so if we did I do not remember. Recently I met someone who also went to MT salon, she described it as they were personable but getting to big for their britches. I see that now. They almost demand you make standing appointments but don’t ever get sick or get your time wrong. You are out of luck getting in and they are very unapologetic. This is Naples not New York.

Ceina did an awsome job with my hair. I went there for a wash and style before going to get married and I am so thanful I got her. She knows her stuff and will take the time to answer your questions and concerns. I felt so beautiful as I can never use a blow dryer without having a head of unruly and frizzy hair.
I also loved the hair cut she did for my husband. We both looked so good for our wedding day. Thank you Ceina.
I know whenever I visit Naples again I will be seeing if Ceina available to do my hair.

I got my hair color, cut, washed and styled by Sandi. I was very impressed by the professionalism that was displayed from the moment I walked in to finished product. I have had the same guy cut my hair for about 10 years in Miami so moving to Naples, I knew it would suck not having my guy around. I shopped around and found many good reviews from this salon so I decided to make an apt. The stylists prices differ from level of experience which I thought was great actually. You get what you pay for. Sandi clearly knew what she was doing and it was easy to let her take control of the creative process. She gave me great hair tips and products to keep my color vibrant and my hair healthy.
I will absolutely go back to Sandi and I would recommend anyone to ask for her. I’m so happy I stumbled upon this salon.

Case of mistaken Identity! Rihanna mistakenly thinks that my wife Amber Cohen was a problem client from the past and refused her service. The funny part about this negative review is that my wife was always 100% happy with the service and even went so far to insist that I go and get my haircut by her and refer other friends and family. (which I did)
Rhianna you have the wrong girl and your snootyness has gotten in the way of your judgement and your apparently your eye sight. We will be sounding the bell to everyone we know in Naples and we know a lot of people to NEVER use your services. We will tell them how snooty, discriminatory incompetent and rude you all are.
The best part of the story will be when the girl they think Amber is comes in to make an appointment and they realize their «case of mistaken identity»

I’m a little disappointed with my haircut – it’s not terrible, but it’s just not as good as what I’m used to. I also went here for a pretty expensive eyebrow wax and was disappointed with that as well. I think what bothered me the most was that I felt very pressured to buy their hair products at the end of my visit. I’m a push over, so I gave in and bought some very expensive shampoo. Still waiting to «see the difference» from my old products. I would consider going here again, but at the same time I’m hoping to find a better salon in the Naples area.

It can be nerve racking trying to find a great hairstylist so I did my research and I’m so glad I found Payton! She is definitely an expert in color and balayage. Not only is she amazing at what she does; she is so passionate about it! Her number one goal is for you to love your hair, and she did just that for me. She is so knowledgeable regarding different hair products and shows you what will work best for your hair type. If you want to leave the hair salon feeling and looking great, go see Payton!

Friendly welcome @ 7AM. Offered a beverage. Salon was spotless, and appointment started on time. Love the iPads at each station to allow for a style search! I was there for a blow-​out — went so well I bought the special — 1 month, up to 4 visits, $ 99. It’s like getting 1 free! In a strip mall so lots of free parking.

CHRISTINA is a true ARTIST! AMAZING TALENT. Good things happen to those who wait! I bounced around salons until I found Michael Thomas Hair Design. After getting a «Blur» from their newest hair artist Christina — I was completely thrilled with her level of experience and artistry! Thank you, Christina, for making a fresh start from Chicago here in Naples. You are quite talented in hair design and full of passion for new trends. ;)

Lets start off by saying I never ever spoil myself by getting my hair colored. I just use box and save the money. I finally after a year decided I would splurge, I got a quote of $ 116.00 for an ombré. Appointment was at 1:30 I showed my stylist a full page of different pictures of exactly what I wanted. She has to bring me outside to show me the highlights because they werent noticeable enough to see in normal lighting. I saw not much of a difference as to what I started with. She went back in to brighten them up. My hair was 100% orange and HORRIBLE!!! It then got toned to a less orange, but still very orange and my there is no distinction in between colors anymore. My whole head is just orange. 5 hours later we both had enough and pretty much this is what your getting. They tell me its $ 268.00… but I was quoted $ 116, they say it shouldnt have been quoted that way (I never ever would have made an appointment if I was told almost $ 300!) Like I said I NEVER spoil myself. They ended up dropping it to $ 170. So am $ 200 out (tip) and left with an orange head that im embarrassed to go in public with. So now I am going to buy a $ 10 box color so I dont look like an umpa loompa :’-(so sad I finally decide to splurge & this happens, and I look horrible. I shouldn’t have been asked to pay until I was happy! Period.

I received the worst haircut I have ever gotten at Michael Thomas Hair Salon. I had long hair and wanted it layered and said I was OK with a couple inches taken off. Instead I got 3−4″ cut off and after almost an hour of her cutting my hair it looked like someone put a ruler across the bottom of my hair and simply cut a blunt line straight across. There are no layers. It looks like dolls hair. This was from the «new talent» and although I didn’t care what I paid (the price goes up depending on who has been here longest) I made the appointment with her because she assured me she had years of experience cutting hair but was only at this salon for one year so she had to be classified as «new talent». She was a very nice person but she should not be cutting hair, at least not long hair. When I told her how I wanted my haircut, layered and styled, she should have admitted she didn’t know how to do this and referred me to someone experienced. An owner or manager should have overseen her work because it took her an extraordinary amount of time to cut my hair and they should have noticed that and helped her out. I was there for two hours for only a cut and shampoo with conditioner.
Additionally, I told her I wanted my blonde hair more of a golden tone and she said they had products that would help with that. The expensive products she sold me I later noticed were for platinum hair. I read the product reviews when I got home and it said it takes the yellow out of hair and turns it white which is the opposite of what I told her I wanted.
I went back to the salon the next morning to return the hair products and the receptionist was nice and very apologetic. She agreed it was cut straight across with no layers and encouraged me to have another stylist fix it. I declined and she eventually said she could offer me a 20% discount. I did not want to chance anyone else touching my hair from this salon but I would think the policy would at least be that they would fix «obviously bad haircuts» done at their salon for free. At least the owner should care enough to notice and offer this.
When I was getting my hair cut I saw another women getting her hair colored and a stylist had left hair dye on the side of her face the entire time without wiping it off. A younger man next to me ended up with a very odd looking blunt cut as well. From what I saw everyone who works here is very young and inexperienced. I definitely would not return nor recommend this salon to anyone.

My appointment was with Gabe who listened carefully to what I wanted and proceeded to give me just that. I love my hair and have made a return appointment.

When I moved to Naples last summer, I came to Michael Thomas for a cut and color touch up. After the first time I was hooked! Jennifer does a great job every time! I have long blonde hair that I’m pretty picky about, and I always leave happy!

I have been driving the 4 hours back to Orlando every time I needed a haircut. I’d schedule it around 3-​day weekends & holiday breaks (teacher). I finally decided to find a salon down here & referred to Unilocal to help me out. I found Michael Thomas with multiple good reviews and only one bad, which didn’t pertain to me. The young man that answered the phone was very pleasant and was still pleasant when I called because I couldn’t find the salon. Rhianna did a great job cutting my hair. She asked a lot of questions and referred to the picture I brought.

I called and made an appointment and Mycalann took care of me
She really did a good job and listened to what I had to say and was also very sweet
I am very particular about stylists and customer service but Mycalann was very professional and obviously loves what she does. I was very relaxed when I left and extremely happy with my hair

I was in Naples and needed a hair cut pretty bad. I found Michael Thomas Salon on Unilocal made an appt and gave it a shot. I’m pretty meticulous when it comes to my hair like most people but met Rianna who was kind and did an amazing job. I I highly recommend her and this salon.

Visiting Naples for work and was in desperate need of a trim. Found this salon on Unilocal and was not disappointed! Morgan did a great job — asked lots of questions about what I wanted and worked with my current shape so it wasn’t a drastic departure from my usual style. I’m very picky about my stylists and cuts so this was much appreciated. Great experience and I would definitely come back!

Great place! I was worried about finding a new hair salon being new to the area, but I was pleasantly surprised. Morgan was phenomenal — she listened to exactly what I wanted and made sure before I left that I was very satisfied. I would recommend her and this salon to anyone!

Lisa styled and colored my hair this week. She is OUTSTANDING! I was very happy with the staff and atmosphere. I will refer friends and family. If you are looking for a change I would recommend Lisa.
