I love the PUB! The Welch dip is soooo good! All the food is amazing. I love the bar tenders and staff! It’s my favorite bar in Naples. The only way you don’t like this bar is if your a snobby old cranky person.

Went here last weekend after finding on Unilocal app on arrival was seated immediately even though was quite busy. Was a gorgeous night so we sat outside. Service was good. Waitress helped my wife pick a drink from extensive drink menu. We both got burgers for dinner. Took a while for them to come out and were ok. Not the best but not the worst either. Their homemade potato chips are awesome. Pluses: ambience/atmosphere. Cool looking Irish pub feel. Note from owner states he imported all the furnishings from U. K Good selection of popular music playing in backround EXTREMELY reasonable drink prices-least expensive beer prices i have ever seen in a bar. Also large variety of both american and British ales.

Had a great first time experience here last week. The setting is a real escape from other restaurants. Food was very good — had the SW Nachos, Shepherds Pie and a Burger with gooey cheese on a pretzel roll… indulgent! Stephanie was great at telling us about The Pub and making sure our visit was super.

The place is too crowded on the weekends. It wasn’t built for a big crowd, even though it attracts the most people in Mercato as its unannounced staple. The service is slow and it’s very hard to get drinks when it gets busy. The drinks are not cheap but they have a good variety– and they are one of the only places in naples that serve pimms cups which is nice. It’s a good bar, but don’t expect to find a table or get good service on a late weekend night.

We were for for lunch on the weekend. It was a nice atmosphere. We had a party of 5. 3 of us ordered the French dip. That’s why this review is 3 stars instead of 4. The portions were very inconsistent. One of the members of our group got a sandwich that didn’t even come close to being the same size as the other 2. It just rubs you the wrong way to be sitting there and get a tiny, noticeably smaller portion when you order the exact same thing as 2 ppl next to you. Either way, the place was nice, lots to do at the mercato, ample parking, and the service was ok too although they were fairly busy.

Beer selection is mediocre and the serves is terrible. In addition I find the fact that they wear kilts, have Union Jacks painted on the ceiling, and call themselves an English Pub both confusing and mildly insulting. The savior is the location and the fact that people under the age of 90 can be found in this rare Naples gem. That’s all I have to say about that, Lenny W.

Was great until the DJ kicked in. Apparently many of the patrons felt the same. The wait for a table suddenly vanished.

Great place. Service was excellent and the food was perfect. If you’re in Naples, Florida you should definitely stop by this place.

I have been really impressed with The Pub on my visit to Naples this year. The outside patio is great. They have a large patio with plenty of heaters for when it’s a little chilly out and servers for your table(whether you are eating or just want a drink). It is fun as well to watch all the interesting people of the Mercato walk by out there as you’re right in the middle of a lot of the action. Servers also have always been very friendly and attentive(ok, on one night one was a little slow but it wasn’t awful; but on all other times the staff has more than made up for it). The food is really good. Fried pickles, southwestern chicken flatbread, and pulled pork tacos are all excellent. Plus the menu goes all night. Beer menu is good with a lot of choices. Lots of TVs inside and a couple visible from the patio if there’s a game on you want to catch. A few downsides– on some nights they will have music blasting really loudly here. It can also get really crowded inside. And on the patio, people will smoke right outside the gate and blow their smoke right on your face(giving yourself and those around you cancer seems to be a favorite pastime in SWFL) but there’s not much the pub can do about that. This is a great place to hangout whether for dinner or just drinks. Unlike a lot of places in Naples it tends to have a younger crowd and is definitely the best bar in Mercato.

Great fish — horrible service. Nice atmosphere. friendly hostess staff but service was extremely slow — when we inquired about our order after 30 minutes we were told it would be up «soon». Tables around us seated 10 minutes after our table we finished eating before our food even arrived. Managment was apologetic and provided complimentary dessert. Probably won’t return :-/.

I’ve been in Naples for 16 days now. And I had two dishes at The Pub that were the best I had in all the days spent down in Naples.(17) Now mind you, I didn’t eat at 5 or 4 star establishments. But enough stars to know that the Shepard’s Pie was the best I had since my Aunt Marcella’s house the Autumn of 77′. And the Smoked Gouda & Chicken Pasta was pretty dang good as well. Pasta was aledente, the smoked Gouda yummy. Delicious overall. Coming from a Queens boy.

Haven’t tried the food but the beer and bourbon selection was good. I think the bartender was a little intimidated by our orders, but managed to fulfill them with minimal mishaps(well, sliced open his thumb while cutting garnish). The bar area is gorgeous and the atmosphere is pleasant. This place is a sort of Jekyll and Hyde situation, where the daytime patrons are chill, more often sophisticated and well traveled. At night, we get to experience the local college crew blow their weekly allowance on booze, then fail to tip appropriately for the pleasure. The staff were nice to us, but sitting next to the spot where the servers picked up their drinks, we had to hear them being particularly unkind to each other.

The Pub is a great place to grab a drink or a meal. The décor is funky but the ambiance is nice and the crowd wasn’t too rowdy. Plenty of TVs for watching a game as well. The fish and chips were excellent and the waitress was very nice and attentive.

Nice British pub. I went here after a long flight and was very hungry and thirsty. Apparently, the attire is a little dressier than I thought for a pub because I stood out a bit wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes. Most guys were wearing polos and/or button downs, and the gals were wearing dresses. But, it had been a long flight, and I really didn’t care! I sat outside, and there was an excellent view! Lots of folks walking around, and there were fancy cars valeted in front of the restaurant. I had a nice white Ferrari parked in front of my table. They had an excellent beer menu at good prices. I ordered a(20) oz Guinness that was only $ 6! I was feeling a little rambunctious so also ordered a shot of Jameson, which very disappointing at $ 7 for a true shot not a double. For dinner, I ordered the steak burger, which tasted great! You can also choose your«style» of burger, which is the toppings option. I chose the«Young’s BBQ» burger style option that had BBQ sauce, bacon, onions, and cheddar cheese, which was perfect! The only reason I didn’t give this place(5) stars was the service. My server was nice BUTSHEWASVERYSLOW! Since I just got off a plane, I didn’t mind, but she should have been faster. Also, the servers wore short, school-girl plaid skirts and white tops so that made up for some of the delay. :) Overall, I would go back if I was not in a rush to eat.

The Pub has been a place where my wife and I visit every time we come to Naples… more of a tradition of sorts. We went back tonight with our six year old, got a high-top table close to the dinning area and the bar and sat… and sat… and sat. We timed out wait at over ten minutes, we were passed by at least three servers several times without so much as a «hi», «we will be right with you», «have you been helped?»… Nothing. We got up, I mentioned the wait to the two hostess and pretty much all we got was a shoulder shrug and a light apology and that is it. Up until tonight I would have rated The Pub a solid 4 +, after the comedy of errors of the staff tonight, a solid 1. ***Update on 6/15/15*** — The general manager contacted me and we discussed the issues and what happened. I’ll bump up the review to a two due to the outreach. We are back in Naples, we will give them another shot and rate again after our experience. Kudos to the management for trying to make it right.

Good food and a fun place to hang out. This place is much better than Masa and AZN. Go here over those places. The Scottish eggs are really good. I tried the bacon wrapped dates, which were good, but I’ve had better at tapas places. Shepard’s pie was good too.

Started with goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in pepper crusted bacon. Wow. Just wow. Great beer selection at a great price for a beautiful 20 oz pour. Then on to beer battered fish and chips. Delish. Partner had the daily«toastie» sandwich. Fantastic. We loved our meal sitting outside watching the parade of pretty people and expensive cars go by. Great service too.

Great beer selection. Waitress was knowledgable and nice. They had this specialty drink that has rum, coke, and Belhaven stout that the waitress recommended. I sent it back immediately. It was an awful, awful combination. The waitress said it was the most popular drink they had. I have no idea who orders that cocktail but they must have lost their taste buds! I also ordered the Belhaven chicken sandwich. This is the second time I’ve had this. The first time I had the sandwich, I loved it! This time around, it wasn’t great. Messy in presentation and overall super greasy. They do give you a fried pickle which was super tasty and different. I like the Pub. A little expensive but overall a good experience. I think the next time I’ll leave the pretzel bun and beer cheese sandwich and venture out to something different.

Overpriced(ordinary) food and drinks. At night it gets PACKED. So plan accordingly.
