Burgers here have a passing visual resemblance to food. I might have made a better tasting burger with my play-doh set when I was a kid. Unlike the play-doh, I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to eat the burgers here. They didn’t give me guacamole on my mariachi burger. Fries were burnt. Who buys a 10 dollar hamburger that features guac if they don’t want the guac? My wife’s burger had a strange chemical smell. I think it’s time to revisit that kosher certification, guys. yuck. avoid.

Blah. Mediocre burgers and priced twice that of similar quality. The burgers were on the small side, and very unremarkable. Doesn’t come close to Shake Shack or 5 Guys(which are not Kosher, for those to whom this is important). The staff seemed nice– sort of neutral– just«there to do the job.» But why pay more for less?

I like the one in Israel better. This place is men at best. its a manipulation of the kosher market. People eat it cause its the only one. So I just make my burgers at home now

My brother ordered dinner for us last night, from their website, at about 7:30PM. The menu was hard to find on their site, as it was in the footer of the page, but the text was the same color as the background. When I drove over to pick up our order at about 8PM, the lights were off and the doors were locked — an hour before they were supposed to close(the only sign on the door listed their normal hours of operation). I asked someone from the pizza place next door, and he said they closed early. Why did their website take our order? Why didn’t someone call or email and tell us not to bother driving over? What a waste. I’m never coming back here again. Also, it baffles me why the business is called , but their website is actually . They don’t own the domain name«burger.org» — and it’s currently an empty page. It’s misleading that the restaurant is named .

Made to order kosher burgers. What keeps me coming back for more is their Mediterranean salads, Hummus, matbucha and Israeli salads. They also have locations in center city(19th and chestnut and in Elkins park on old York road) If you are looking for a change of pace their shakshooka with sausage is worth giving a shot. Don’t expect a dining experience, but as far as kosher food goes, this place is decent.

Good food. Convenient parking in the back. Small menu that still has a nice variety. I like the burritos and the sesame chicken a lot. The burgers are pretty good as well. They have pretty cool toppings too.

I didn’t go into this with very high expectations because of the low stars other reviewers had given it but was very pleasantly surprised. Lunch was delicious, timely, well presented, and while not cheap — not unreasonable either for kosher meat. Service was totally fine. I have pretty high expectations(most people think too high) so I’ll give credit when due. I had a chicken ceaser salad, my husband had a burger and my two kids had hot dogs.

The worst service I’ve ever experienced! I placed an order for 4 people and not one of the orders was prepared as requested. items were also missing from the order. Instead of Garlic Mayo, we got Caesar’s dressing! We were not able to order drinks, we were told they were out of drinks… huh??? We will not be ordering from this again. I have had the burgers at other locations and the meals have been great. Avoid going to Narberth location… horrible!

I tried for lunch today. I ordered the mariachi burger and was definitely disappointed. The burger meat was bland and falling apart. It was one of the messiest burgers I’ve ever eaten. The burger patty seemed like it needed more spices. I was also disappointed that the burger didn’t come with fries. For $ 9.99, you should get more than just a burger. My total bill was $ 12.61 for a burger and CAN of coke. Way overpriced for a mediocre burger if you ask me. I won’t be returning. Service wasn’t great either. Once I ordered, the server never came back. I had to go to the counter to ask for my check. It wasn’t busy — there were only 2 other tables occupied.

My husband and I only eat kosher meat, so when Burger Org opened right in our neighborhood, we were excited and optimistic. However, we will not order takeout from them again. Several months ago, we ordered takeout and my ordinary burger with no special toppings ended up being an El Mariachi Burger, with all sorts of toppings that I do not like on burgers. It was disappointing, and we called them — but since we picked up our order at 8:45(just before close) it was too late to get a new one. They offered us a future comp. A few weeks later, we went for the future comp, and again, were given something that didn’t match the order. Too spicy, again. And I’ve had my burgers served properly in the past by them, so it isn’t just a matter of taste. I would have let that go – after all, there are so few kosher options, and even fewer kosher meat options, that they seem to have cornered the market in the area anyway. But the straw that broke the camel’s back tonight was walking there tonight(their website advertises hours on Saturday in the Winter from 7:30 p.m. — 11 p.m.). They were closed, and their sign on the window says that they are closed on both Friday and Saturday.(Their website also lists Friday lunch hours in the Summer.) Seeing Jonathan G’s comment about service on Christmas Eve made me inclined to bring attention to their inability to post hours correctly or keep to their posted hours. I also second all of his comments about speed of service and the cleanliness of this establishment(and its ketchup bottles!) We are terribly disappointed with this experience — it seems that kosher restaurants in Philadelphia offer such poor service that they are unable to even keep the clients who keep kosher! There are two notable exceptions, one which had to close and another that is too upscale for a typical«night out».

is a refreshing addition to the main line food scene. I had a cheeseburger with all the toppings and the chipotle dressing. It was absolutely delicious! I think the fries can be crispier but other than that I am satisfied with this new food establishment! I will have to take my kids here soon as it is an easy and fast way to get a great meal at a reasonable price.

Another thing that seems to be lacking on the Main Line is a solid non-fast food burger joint(there was a solid option — ). So when I saw that a Burger. Org was opening up inside the shopping strip of my youth I was ready to give it a shot with open arms, even if I did face apprehension and confusion because of the Org in the past( ). And while part of me was saying mmmmmmmmm because of it, I was still experiencing that apprehension and confusion. The first thing I noticed while walking into the restaurant was the overly convuluted menu that came with it. As said before when one goes to a burger themed restaurant they typically don’t expect to be able to order a burrito, shawarma, or spaghetti bolognese(I don’t even believe I’m typing that). So seeing them listed on the menu BEFORETHEBURGERS is just baffling to me. Fortunately I was able to sift through it and find what I was looking for in a potentially solid burger. When I first read about the El Mariachi burger with its Pico de Gallo, guacamole, and jalepenos offered at the South Street one I was ready to try it. And those flavors and toppings would have delivered, if they weren’t so over saturated with toppings that WEREN’T listed as being on the burger, especially the overpowering raw onion that they added too damn much of. And while the extra raw onion that was added to the burger wasn’t inviting, the chipotle or chimchurri that I could have added had I been told about my ability to add a sauce to a special burger would have been inviting. Oops? The spicy fries that I ordered along with were fine, even if they might have had a little too much spice on it. It would have been nice if if they asked me if I wanted any ketchup or another condiment to come with them like just about every single other burger place in existence does. But despite such glaring examples of rage aforementioned, the Org did show plenty of promise. If it wasn’t for the lettuce, tomato, and damned raw onion that didn’t need to be on the burger; the El Mariachi would be strumming the glorious anthem that it’s capable of(especially if I added that sauce). And over spice aside, the fries were pretty solid(once I grabbed my own ketchup). So if it gets those kinks in order it could be a welcome addition.

Burger. org just opened down the street from us. We we’re excited since its very close to where we live. My wife is a vegetarian and just gave birth so thought it would be a convenient option. We came in on Sunday early evening and it was super busy. The thing though is that no one in the restaurant was eating a burger. The menu was largely Israeli food and most of the guests were eating Chicken Schwarma. Sort of made me wonder why they didnt name the place ChickenSchwarma. org. I waited a good 20 minutes to try and get an order in. There was no orderly line and no one seemed to interested in taking my order. After ordering a couple of veggie burgers and two sides of fries, I was told the wait would be 30 minutes. Seemed odd to have waiting 30 minutes for two veggie burgers at a burger joint but I was in no hurry. After two trips and a good hour ordeal for a veggie burger, I thought to myself«Wow… these must be good». I dont mind waiting a day for something thats worth a days wait. It was unfortunately not… I think they used egg in the batter. Maybe it wasnt cooked all the way but it tasted odd. Parts of the veggie burger were also over done while others not done well enough. The regular fries we’re quite good, but the homemade sweet potato fries we’re cooked all the way. In the end we just threw it out. I’m not exactly sure why I’m writing such a long review for this place… other than perhaps because my infant has me up at 3:00AM. Anyway… I dont like to be a harsh judge for a new restaurant in an area that needs new restaurants but overall experience was not good… at all. They must make a mean Chicken Schwarma but I dont think I’ll venture to try it.
