My favorite breakfast in town! Hasher with eggs over medium! Service is spectacular.

Took a while for the waitress to take our order but worth the wait. It was liver night, so the place was packed. Apparently there’s a huge following for their liver. People call in advance and reserve. They actually ran out while we were there. Well prepared, delicious food. The only think I though was odd was that towards the end of our meal the owner sat at a nearby table and had her phone on and was obviously watching a video and/or listening to a song. At full volume. We could hear it at our table. I found this rude and I was very surprised that she didn’t turn the volume down so that it couldn’t be heard in the dining room. I glared and her a few times but she didn’t seem to care. Weird. Felt like I was on SEPTA, not in a restaurant.

Decided to try Ryan Christopher for the first time this past Friday with a group of friends who live in Narberth. The 5-star reviews on Unilocal were spot-on. We made a reservation, however given the unseasonably warm temperatures, requested to be seated outside once we arrived. The staff was more than accommodating. Our server was actually«Ryan Christopher’s» mother and was willing and eager to answer any questions about the menu and give a few great recommendations. We started with the cheesesteak eggrolls and the coconut shrimp which were both very tasty. I ordered the veal Marsala which was delicious. I can’t speak for the rest of my table, but I can say that everyone’s plates were clean before the last glass of wine was poured! I will definitely be back and will tell friends about this neighborhood gem!

From excellent service and intimate atmosphere to amazing desserts… This experience was amazing. My mouth was overjoyed after the first hunk of crusty bread dipped into their amazing pesto sauce. This only continued once I received my entrée with two moist crab cakes that were perfectly seasoned and were filler free. To complete the evening, a decadent chocolate peanut butter pie with just the right amount of sweetness, left me planning the next visit. The only thing that was amiss was that the sweet potato has served with my companion’s salmon was a bit too charred to enjoy. Overall, an excellent dinner experience. Can’t wait to return.

Loving coming here on the weekends with my family for brunch. Delicious food and super friendly staff. I can normally always get a table when I get there. I’m a huge breakfast food person so I really enjoy trying all their things on the brunch menu and their specials are always exciting too. Perfect date spot since its cozy and cute!

I live in Manayunk which is filled with a lot of great restaurants, but this restaurant was one of a kind! Very personable staff, would highly recommend! Food is exceptional!

Went to dinner here the other night, and everything was perfect! The appetizer, main courses, soup, and dessert! Very awesome. Would recommend to anyone! If you haven’t tried here yet, it’s worth checking out! :)

Ryan Christopher’s is far from«meh.» The menu is beyond fabulous, the chef is truly an artist. The outside just opened up which gets me and my family extremely excited. The chef is flexible with any changes I needed. The wait staff was amazing, and the hostess was warm and welcoming. I recommend both outside and inside seating to all friends and family. I’ve never had a bad experience at Ryan Christopher’s! Thank you for being my favorite neighborhood spot!

This place sucks. The interior is in eye sore. They don’t know how to make a simple Caesar salad. The menu is meh and the wait staff is not knowledgeable about the menu. There are crack head walking around and they ask you for money while you sit outside. When we left I saw one of the cooks in the allyway do some kind of shady deal with the very same crack head who was harassing our group in the outside finding area. Seriously this place should just close down. The only good restaurant that was ever at this location was Lou’s. It was a neighborhood staple this place is just pure overrated crap.

The curtain literally came down on dinner at Ryan Christopher’s today. What I mean by that is that one of their curtains fell and hit me. The sad part is that it resulted in an improvement to the décor. Well that’s the bad part, otherwise it was a nice dining experience. The food is good, somewhat bland, and the portions are huge. The staff was also very nice. Good luck and watch out for the falling décor.

The menu is so varied and the prices so reasonable for the quality of the cuisine that you could come for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and not be too extravagant or ever get tired of the food. I saw some criticism of the atmosphere on Unilocal, but I love that the inside is homey and on a warm day the outside is cute and right in Narberth. I have seen several celebrities enjoying meals here repeatedly so apparently the atmosphere is acceptable to the rich and famous. BYOB’s are making the Philadelphia dining scene something special and Narberth is a wonderful hub in BYOB scene. Craig Leban even rates a BYOB the top restaurant in the Philadelphia region. So grab a bottle of your favorite wine, even splurge a little on the wine, and stroll into Ryan Christopher’s enjoy a great meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Had a fantastic dinner date at Ryan Christopher’s last night. The muscles in pomodoro sauce were delicious some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The orange roughy special entrée was also very good. Portions are decent and we were too stuffed to order their award winning desserts(next time). The service was the best part of the experience. Our waiter, definitely a high school student, had so much charm and was very professional. A great move is they spaced out the food so we had time to actually enjoy ourselves and didn’t feel rushed one bit. We will definitely be back!

A nice homey atmosphere. The menu was excellent. A great selection and everything looked like it should be so good. Ingredient list was excellent. However, there was a mismatch when the food arrived. Somehow it disappointed. The end product just wasn’t as good as it sounded. The cranberry salmon, however, was terrific. Well worth trying. Portion size was good as well. This is a byob.

My husband and I have dined at Ryan Christopher’s on several different occasions. Every time we leave, we’re stuffed and more importantly satisfied. Although we’ve never dined here for dinner the breakfast and lunch options are great. They have something for everyone from waffle egg sandwiches, chocolate chip pancakes, to poached pear salads and Thai chicken wraps. Everything we’ve tried has been tasty. The restaurant has expanded their seating area. They removed the bar/griddle area and have introduced a larger seating area. In the warmer months you can done outside. I’m giving it a 4 because the service, although friendly, is not always attentive.

Really good food, BYO and outside seating. Need I say more? The sweet Thai chili rubbed ribs on special were fantastic. Great flavor and super tender. The pork practically falls off the bone. The chicken Parm was really good. It wasn’t fried, which i prefer. I don’t know why more places don’t prepare it this way. Our table also had two salmon dishes. Both salads. Im not a big fan of cooked salmon, but the fish was cooked perfectly. The sesame crusted one was better than the plain one. I didn’t try the burger but it looked delicious. Get there early or make a reservation for the outside patio.

The ambience inside was decidedly less«fresh» than I was expecting. They really need an update in there. Luckily, it was a beautiful day outside so we sat on the patio at a nice big table under an umbrella. If I lived nearby I would come sit on this patio all the time. My friend and I were passing through around brunch time on a Saturday and we were both in the mood for breakfast. She got this tremendous hash dish with every kind of meat under the sun, topped with perfect fried eggs. I had major food envy when her plate came. I went went with the spinach and smoked gouda omelet and a side of turkey sausage. I wasn’t pumped about their homefries, they were more like fried potato chunks which is not what I want in a homefry. The omelet had plenty of fresh spinach that was well-incorporated and not garlicky, which I hate being surprised by, but the omelet itself was pretty overcooked while still managing to leave most of the cheese unmelted. It was edible and not terrible, but it wasn’t very exciting. I’ve had far better omelets. Service was pretty slow and disjointed. My toast took forever to come out and our coffees didn’t get refilled. There are probably better options nearby. Total was about $ 20 for the two of us.

Four of us came here last night for dinner. Everyone at my table agreed this was one of the most enjoyable meals we’ve had in a while. I had the steak and bleu cheese salad which was perfect(the grilled red onions were a nice touch). I sampled each of my 3 compadres’ meals: chicken and shrimp picatta, an Asian pork tenderloin special, and an Ahi tuna special. All were delicious as well! I took off a star because the dessert(which was touted as the«best on the Main Line») was nothing to write home about. It was described as a brownie topped with a layer of peanut butter mousse topping, but the brownie was dry and not chocolaty at all, and the mousse just wasn’t very peanut buttery. Also, the top whipped cream layer tasted like mint for some reason. Service was very good but we had to keep asking for water refills, which always annoys me. All in all though, the dinner food was outstanding, it’s a BYOB, and I’ve heard amazing things about brunch, so i’d definitely return next time I’m in the area.

Absolutely love this place! First stumbled upon it when I was searching for interesting omelet options. We went for the mashed potato omelet. It was phenomenal. I am not sure if it’s still on the menu. If not they need to bring it back. They have awesome outside seating. Now whenever I got I get whatever hash they are serving that day. It’s eggs and meat and whatever else special they out in there jan a huge pile of home fries. It was Cajun influenced last time and I loved it.
