First I want to say the hours on Unilocal are wrong. Second, I’m a vegetarian so I asked if they could do a tofu version of sesame chicken and they obliged with no complications. It. Is. Delicious. Also really reasonably price. The egg drop soup is also very good as well as the crab ragoons! If you don’t mind waiting now for a little bit, you can walk in and order. I would assume calling ahead would be better though. They tend to run a little behind when you call it, but they’re really nice and the foods delicious. Definitely going back.

So first order of business when having Chinese take out is to make sure the place is clean and Bamboo Garden seems to run a tidy operation. It’s cleaner on the inside than you’d guess if just driving by. TV is in waiting area as you wait for your meals to go. I was overall happy with the taste, quality, and temperature of all the food. Everything was served hot even once arriving at home to eat.

A family owned place that has take out and eat in(unfortunately no delivery). Good quality meat in the General Tso chicken, but you have to ask for extra spicy to get even spicy. Place is clean with a semi open kitchen, and service has always been friendly. Good place.

This small stand alone place on the side of Boston Neck Rd is definitely a cut above your average small take out joint. Although it has seating and accommodates eating in nicely with booths, I am yet to ever go there for take out and see anyone. There is no real atmosphere or view to speak of, so its my opinion this place survives mainly on take out. The menu is very good and has everything that you would want in traditional Chinese fare, and a decent amount of more rare and fancy offerings. The prices here are a little higher than some strip mall Chinese, rather on par with a fancy sit down place. But its all worth it to me. Everything I go there I get a great meal, and plenty of it. The quality is most definitely a step above, and easily accommodates the little heftier price for sure.(My son is a real Chinese food snob and gives his thumbs up to their finer fare). I really enjoy stopping at this place on the way home from the beach, or a walk in Narragansett when I have kinda had it for the moment with chowda’ and clambakes. A really good place that deserves more favorable reviews here. This is one of them. :)
