Called several times to order, no one answered. There is no way to tell if this place is still in business. Their webpage has current hours, Unilocal partially has their hours but if you scroll down on the right hand side it shows closed during the week and only open on Sat. The information is sketchy.

Well, it gets one star because we drove all the way there and it was closed ! So not quite the review. Went at 1.30PM Saturday and there was a sign saying«we are closed»…not sure if this is temporary or permanent.

Crush brings the fast-casual dining concept to pizza. Once you order, you can watch your pizza get prepared and then put into their extremely hot(800+ degree) wood burning oven where it will be cooked in less than 2 minutes. This place is the best thin-crust pizza in the Nashua, New Hampshire area. The crust is perfect, and the sauce is very good. The only downside is that they are priced somewhat high — an individual 2-topping pizza will run around $ 10.00.

I had very high hopes for this place! I love the idea of it! I was very disappointed with the staff at this location. They spent most of their time flirting and chatting with each other to help the girl taking our 6 separate orders and phone orders as well. She had to keep asking us to hold on a minute so she could answer the phone while the people behind the counter continued to chat and laugh. One thing that really surprised me is that one girl while making a pizza was actually eating the cheese she was grabbing out of the bins. The staff was so preoccupied with their side conversations that they burnt on of the pizzas we were waiting for. The food was good and I would come back but not if the staffing situation is the same. I felt like I was interrupting them by being there!

Small overpriced mediocre pizza. Went when they first opened. Purchased 2 lg. Pizzas that at best were medium in size. Waited with an acquaintence and had a couple of beers while waiting. Received pizzas to go and the bill was over $ 50 plus had to pay the 9% tax and tip the girl who served us the beers. $ 65 later 4 beers and 2 medium 2 topping pizzas. REALLY?

Crush pizza is delicious and I think stands out from other pizza places. I like Jace F. point about it being like Chipotle for pizza, it’s true! You can choose whichever pizza with whatever toppings and it’s all whipped up in front of you and ready to go quickly. I like the smokiness the crust gets from the fire. The only thing I’ve had there so far that I didn’t love were the limoncello wings. they sound really tasty but they’re a little bland. Other than that, I think you can’t go wrong with whatever you order.

They deliver too! Have ordered there a few times and love their pizza. Would like to have them a tad hotter when delivered but solved that by preheating our baking stone so that it was hot when pizza arrived. We slip pizza on baking stone to crisp up before eating and results have been perfect. Tip… get their cannolis! They are very fresh and have a superb taste. Best pizza in Nashua. March 2015 … Sadly they recently closed their Nashua location.

We have driven by this place so many times and always wondered if it was worth trying out. Recently had heard from friends that it was really good and I should check it out, so we did.(FINALLY) It was late afternoon on a Saturday, so only a couple of tables with customers. We were happily greeted right away and told if we had any questions to let them know and take our time to figure out what to order. After looking at the menu I had a few questions that got answered quickly and we ordered our meal. We got a Bourbon BBQ Chicken pizza and a classic Pepperoni, also ordered an appetizer of meatballs which if we knew the concept of Crush I would of not ordered them since it only takes 90 seconds for your pizza to cook. So our pizzas came out way before the meatballs which was fine with me, both pizzas looked good and tasted great, but I do feel there was not much of a BBQ taste to that pizza so the pepperoni was our favorite. When the meatballs came out I was impressed, they were in a crock of sauce with parmesan cheese on top of everything plus it had a side of coal fired dough with it. The meatballs tasted amazing and the sauce I LOVED it had a little bit of a spice kick to it, YUM!!! Overall our meal was great, the atmosphere was good and service was great, although it is mostly self service(you order at the counter and you seat yourself, they do bring your food over to you). They also serve beer and wine which was a nice surprise too! When done I got a to-go box for our leftovers and ordered to cannoli’s to take home for later. While ordering those I asked about the other dessert which I wanted to try, but wash’t sure about the Nutella Pizza which was described at: their dough with Nutella spread across it, then flipped in half and baked in the wood fire oven, when it comes out they sprinkle powered sugar over it. Sounded good, but I am a visual person and lit would of been nice if they had a picture of it or one on display. I will try it next time we go back. Looking around at the other two tables their food looked good too, they had salad which looked large and tasty, another table had the coal fired wings which looked amazing and I will need to try next time too. Other then that they had pizza too which looked good. Great place and worth checking out, Enjoy!!!

Crush is the Chipotle of pizza. In the booming industry of «fast casual», Crush is a fun little place that serves up quality food, made well — quickly. I went house on my first trip to Crush, including 2 pizzas [Pesto Bomb w/chicken and Margarita w/steak & onions], and I had to try the Lemoncillo wings. The pesto pizza was by far better than the Margarita. I found their crushed tomatoes to be a bit too sweet for my taste. Both were finished perfectly with a slightly charred crust and piping hot fresh mozzarella. The wings on the other hand, were fairly dull and lacked flavor. At $ 9.00 for a small, I expected a lot better. The beer was cold and the atmosphere was a bit cramped. If you’ve ever had Angela’s Coal Fire Pizza, this place would be their little brother. Not quite as good, but give them an A for effort. For a quick bite and take out, I could see Crush being a viable option for someone wanting to stray away from greasy or commercial pizza joints.

With all fresh ingredients(real mozzarella, fresh basil etc) This is competing for the best pizza I have ever had. The quality of a master chef shines in the recipes as well as the technique uses by some of the veteran staff to ensure your pizza is cooked evenly over a very much dynamic wood fire. If you are in Nashua this would classify as a destination. for those that think its to pricey for you go order dominoes and leave this place for real foodies. The pricing is Par for what you are getting.

My boyfriend and I really enjoy Crush, especially their Toscana pizza. That being said, everytime we go in for dinner, we always mention to each other how much we wished the staff would smile more or be more friendly. We aren’t sure if they are family or what but it never really seems like any of them like each other or that they want to be there. LOOSENUPGUYS!

I love it here! The pizza is fantastic! I’ve had the sandwiches and wings too… And they’re equally amazing. Everything is made right in front of you, so you know it’s all fresh ingredients made just the way you want! I went in with my fiancée last night for some quick take out, and the owner was there making our pizza. When one of our pizzas came out, he didn’t think it was done perfectly(to his high standard). He felt it was a bit overdone. We told him we didn’t mind a well done crust, but he insisted on making a totally new one for us. The best part of all this is that he let us take the first pizza he made for free! All the pizzas we got last night were delicious(even the one the owner didn’t think met his standard) but the pride they take in their quality will keep us coming back. Definitely worth a visit!

I was excited to try the revamped Crush Pizza venue, now that it’s «order your way». Hmmpfh. The«order your way» is pretty nice. I ordered a pesto pizza and added prosciutto and carmelized onions. That was ok. However, they advertise they have wine. A server even asked as I was waiting for my party to arrive if I“d like some wine while I was waiting but I opted to wait til they arrived. The idea of wine sounded so good we thought we’d share a bottle. Great! I ordered a white wine from their short selection. Now is when the fun begins. I received a warm bottle of white wine off the shelf without any embarassment from anyone behind the cash register. I said no, of course. They then offered up the idea of ice cubes, again without a hint of embarassment. Seriously? You want me to pay $ 20 for a bottle of warm white wine and add ice cubes??? No, really. I then tried to fix the situation by asking if they had any chilled(no full bottles, sorry). How about multiple chilled opened bottles of requested wine?(no, sorry). «Not many people order full bottles» came an attempt at an explanation. Really? Then, why do you offer full bottles(said out loud). I finally just got the refund(a manager from the back had to be called up to handle a refund) and just ordered a soft drink as I was originally going to do before I was told they had wine in the first place. Sigh, heavy sigh. So, in other words, the redo of Crush was simply to make it easier on Crush not to have to tend to tables, not really for the customer. And, they don’t hire employees that know anything about wine. Not much is required but knowing white wine is not served at room temperature would seem to be just enough. Final word, go to Portland Pie Company in downtown Nashua for a full dining experience — great pizza, cocktails of your choice, atmosphere, and friendly and knowledgeable servers. As a note, Tony from Crush pizza did generously offer me $ 20 towards my next visit and did apologize for the misstep serving warm white wine. However, as a Unilocal reviewer, I will not be taking advantage of said discount so as to not taint my review in the future. I do thank you Tony for recognizing and acknowledging the misstep on service. Please do note that service does count toward the review process just as the food does. I’m sure a revisit is in order to fairly re-review Crush in the future.

When this place first opened up — I really liked it. It had a cool bar(in an area dominated by chain restaurants) and great pizza/salads. Last night my wife and I ordered take out on line(which I love being able to order take out online and prepay — so that is a great improvement). When I got there 30 min later, they did see that I had ordered… but had not started making it. I get that its a new feature so thats fine. My problem is that started only offering 1 size of pizza(which is basically a smallish medium — and they don’t tell you that change on the website) and the salad was $ 8 and barely enough for 2 people. Because they messed up the online order they tried to make my pizza quickly and it was undercooked when I got it home. It was much better when they actually sold a normal large pizza and a decent size salad. I miss the bar too. A year ago I would give this place a 5, now it’s a 2. Angelas and Bertucci’s are better than what Crush is now.

First off let me say that the pizza is excellent! It’s great to have the nice thin crust pizza, its neat how they make it so quick and it comes out so good. So now for the interesting part, we have driven by this place several times and have seen the ads around so finally decided to stop in. We were expecting a restaurant, sit down sort of deal however it was more cafeteria setup. Almost somewhere between a regular pizza joint and a Subway since they make the pizza right in front of you. It also has a fast food sort feeling in the way the seating is arranged, which just felt a little odd for a place with such good pizza and how they market themselves as fresh quality food. So overall, excellent pizza but make sure you know what to expect if you go there to eat. Also the pizzas are priced like single serve sized but they are much larger, could almost split one pie for 2 people.

After watching a review on the Phantom Gourmet along with all the other great reviews on Unilocal,my wife and I decided to give Crush a try — we were not disappointed. We sat at the bar and ordered Sam Oktoberfest on draft, so I knew we were starting out in the right direction. Next, we tried the small orders of the Crush Italian salad and the Limoncello wings. The salad dressing is thick and spicy, and the wings are grilled giving them that smoked wood flavor. A plus, are the grilled onions heaped on top of the wings. We enjoyed them both, and the small portion was still large enough for sharing. Then, we shared a 12″ Salsiccia pizza. This pizza contains, «Crushed tomatoes topped with homemade sausage, fresh mozzarella, red onion, fresh basil, and drizzled with olive oil.» The sausage has a wonderful taste and the hint of fennel is perfect. Again, this size pizza is perfect for sharing. Also, we love the open kitchen concept, and watching the chef prepare our salad and pizza. I would have given Crush 5 stars, but the lighting in the restaurant is overwhelming and bright. We will certainly be back again!

We were five tired, sore and hungry hikers in a car, bickering about dinner over miles of deserted road from Monadnock State Park. Finally able to agree on pizza, we filtered OPEN and PIZZA in our Unilocal!app, but one punchy friend had to knock down every suggestion as it was made. I don’t trust any place with initials in the name. I can’t eat there. The parking lot is empty and nobody is inside. The building just gives me a bad vibe. Oh, never mind that it was late evening on Columbus Day and we’d be lucky to find ANY open restaurant, let alone a pizza place that met all of her crazy standards. And just as she suggested we wait the 90 minutes to Boston(and just as I was about to stake her over an open fire), we found Crush, no initials, 3 cars in the parking lot and 2 whole families eating inside. Crush? I don’t know, she said. That’s a weird name for a pizzeria. I wouldn’t name my pizzeria Crush. I suggested crush referred to tomatoes and parked the car. This time, she was OVERRULED. Of course once Little Miss Difficult saw buffalo mozzarella on the menu, she found her happy, and her happy became stupid-giddy when she learned the fresh mozzarella and sauces are all made in-house. I ordered the Crush salad which did not come with a traditional American«Italian» dressing but a chunkier style that I found much more enjoyable, full of tomatoes and herbs and a dash of crushed red pepper. My Margherita with garlic was just crispy enough at the crust and soft on the inside. I finished a 12″ pizza on my own for the first time in my life. LMD finished her Funghi pizza faster. Our waitress was at our table with soda and water refills before we could even ask. We closed the meal with a 32 square of tiramisu and a ceramic swimming pool of crème brûlée. House made, I’m not sure, but good nonetheless. Service, value and taste are a triple threat here. My friend decided for sure that Crush meant how hard she fell for this pizza. Even if she still won’t eat anywhere with initials in the name.

Before I fully leave NH, wifey and I decided to try Crush. Should have went elsewhere… Soggy crust, slow service, mushy toppings… better brick oven pizza at many places near by… go to them… I cannot even invest too much time in reviewing… just don’t!

Crush Pizza is finally open for business in Nashua! I’ve been anxiously waiting for this place to open after numerous delays due to the City permitting and approvals process and logistics. I checked up on Crush Pizza a couple weeks ago(brown paper still covering the windows and the door was open). Tony and his staff were doing dry runs baking many test pies to perfect their pizzas and other menu items. The temperature of the wood fired brick oven is over 900 degrees Fahrenheit and pizzas bake in about 90 seconds. This is a similar restaurant concept to 900 Degrees in Manchester. The place had their official grand opening today. Several Twitter followers from Nashua got a sneak taste of the food last week and the feedback was positive. Formerly a Quizno’s, the space was nicely renovated into a full service bistro-like pizza restaurant and bar. Crush Pizza serves up authentic neapolitan wood fired pizzas, salads, antipasto, panu ozzo(rustic Italian sandwiches), frittes, appetizers, limoncello wings, fire grille items(steak tips, chicken, sausage served with fries or salad), and desserts(La Nutella Pizza, Tiramisu, Panna Cotta). The prices are moderate, 10″ pizzas $ 8-$ 17, frittes $ 8-$ 9, paninis $ 6.99-$ 7.99, salads/antipasto $ 4.99-$ 12. I stopped in here this evening for takeout. The place was quite busy, most of the tables and high chairs at the counter area were occupied. I could see pizzas being baked quickly in the wood fired brick oven. I ordered a Capri Pizza($ 13) and Pizza Fritte($ 9) and I did not have to wait that long. The food was hot and ready to go in under 10 minutes. The Capri Pizza was very tasty which was topped with crushed tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, artichokes, ham, olives, mushrooms, fresh tomato sauce, and extra virgin olive oil. The crust was slightly chewy, thin towards the center of the pizza and thick and soft along the edges, the bottom of the crust had a slight char taste from the wood fired oven. The Pizza Fritte(big pizza pocket) was like having a deep fried dough calzone. I’ve enjoyed a smaller version of the Pizza Fritte at several festivals in Upstate NY. The fried dough shell was soft and chewy(sprinkled with grated cheese outside) and stuffed with sausage, fresh mozzarella, crushed tomatoes, and basil and served with a cup of chunky tomato sauce for dipping. The pizza fritte tastes the best when eaten fresh and hot out of the fryer. Overall, the food I had was enjoyable & fresh and I like the atmosphere here. They should also add some more seats in the front for those waiting for takeout orders. Next time I’m in here for dinner, I’ll have to try a the Mediterrano Pizza and get the La Nutella Pizza for dessert. FACEBOOK:
