TJ Maxx

First let me say I worked for several years when I was young for marshalls (owned by same company as tjmaxx) & I would have been fired on the spot for acting like these employees! I circled around the jewelry counter looking for something specific while two employees just st there talking, I stopped & waited so I could ask but they just kept talking! I next went to home items I sat and waited for this girl so I could ask for something for my daughter’s room when she scurried away the second I looked down! I managed to find a few things to buy only to find the girl behind the register (overweight & in grey) with her back to us looked at us only twice made us wait over 5 minutes while the only register girl was doing a return she waited until there was several of us before she would help! Overall some good deals but nothing but LAZY employees!!!

The staff is super helpful. Holiday shopping is a chaotic nightmare and although the store was very busy and in my opinion, overwhelming, staff members took time to assist me with my purchases. Mario B. came out of nowhere to ask if I needed help when he noticed my cart was full and then brought me another one. They also help bring things to your car if it is too much. The cashier I had was also very friendly, smiley and patient in checking out my items. She helped me take off some price tags so that I could go wrap them as gifts. Whoever hired these people is intelligent and I was impressed by the customer service at such a large and busy place to shop.

I was here on July 17, 2013. If you get there when they open there is plenty of parking. The store was nice and neat. The employees were friendly. They still have some pretty bathing suits, sandals, sunglasses and summer hats. I like this store because you never know what you’ll find. I always like their stationary and dishes. They also have pretty pillows and bedding. It’s hard to leave empty-​handed. I did this time because I was short on cash. Earlier this month I bought a hat box for my new summer hat. Now, it won’t get smashed in the car when we pack for those summer vacations.
