Best latte I have ever had and will ever have. If you are in the area go here!!! I got a regular vanilla latte and had no idea that it was going to be unbelievable. The staff does a great job.

Excellent dark roast, flavorful coffee. Love their specialty lattes. Can be made decaf, too! Also an excellent remote working spot.

I have never tasted a sip of coffee as brilliant and actually inspiring as the Hot Beet on the spring drinks special menu. Jalapeño beets Rosemary espresso and milk I kid you not it was fantastic. 5 stars just for that.

Staying at the Omni and had some drinks comp’d by the hotel so of course took advantage of free specialty drinks. The Broadway was quite good. A little sweet for me, but I think most would really like it. Delicately made, quality ingredients. Wife had strawberry alarm clock… It was okay but wouldn’t order again. I’d say mine was a 4.5 and hers a 3… but overall place is nice and I’m a sap for a record playing joint.

After a crazy Saturday walking around Broadway, we needed a place to sit a relax a little. It’s inside the Omni hotel, but you don’t need to be a guest to go there. They have plenty of seating inside, or you can sit outside too if it is nice. They have a record player playing music! Very fun:) they also have some board games you can play(monopoly, clue, etc) on their shelves. There are comfy chairs, tables, and a counter along the window. The whole side of the café is windows, which gives lots of natural light. I had a Mocha, which was delicious, and the fiancé had a coffee, which he said was good too!

Great hotel coffee spot — relaxing enough to hang out but big enough to take a crowd — great for kids(they have games)

I’ve gotta admit I was expecting Matthew McCoun-a-hey(too lazy to look up his actual last name, whatevs) playing naked and saying welcome to his place. The name for this place has Bongos and seriously you just never know nowadays. Once I entered I realized this place was a little hipster coffee joint that had to be compliant with the aesthetic and appeal of Omni guests. The view and high rise windows was great and I enjoyed the complimentary water and toaster at customer’s access. Honestly, now that I think about it… this is the first time I’ve seen a coffee shop with a toaster laid our for the public. The coffee was decent enough to get the job done but it wasn’t a «Holy amaze-balls put an IV in me and shoot me up with your caffeine RIGHTNOW» — picture the adorable little girl from The Exorcist saying this. I still blame the Mom in that movie for making her perform for her drunk guests. What I did enjoy though was the old school games they had available for you to play with and let your inner(board)gamer on! I sure as heck don’t know how to play an XBox 5?(last system I had was a Nintendo 64); however, give me the board game CLUE and I will bust out my sleuth cap and get to business. It must’ve been a sight seeing four grown men arguing and getting intense over Clue but being hungover and slightly intoxicated will do it for ya. This spot is close to some main attractions so I’m all game for this spot for a quick fix, not the Courtney Love kind. So run in and sip out if you need some coffee around this area!

This café is inside the Omni hotel. The staff were really friendly. I enjoyed a hot cider while watching Rugrats on the TV. Rugrats! My inner child felt complete.

This was a small little coffee shop inside the Omni hotel with a nice ambiance. They had comfy chairs and board games you could play stacked on one of their shelves. I didn’t see any options for any sweeter drinks like fraps but there was plenty of coffee variations. They have some cool machines making the coffe and make some cool designs. If I liked real coffee I would probably like this place more. As it was, I just got the hot chocolate and wasn’t too impressed with it. Ok: Hot Chocolate

Going for a conference at the convention center be prepared to have huge lines at the couple available coffee shops there. One of them is Duncan Donuts… So no comments is need about it. But for real coffee lovers you can get excited about Bongo Java across the street. Small coffee shop which is local, hipster and makes an excellent coffee drinks. Quickly I got addicted to cappuccino there. They have a nice terrace which means sunshine, fresh air and recharging time between sessions.

This place made a great latte, and I appreciate simple things made significantly well. It had a bold flavor without being too bitter and I didn’t have to cover up a bad taste with more sugar. This place sits across from the Music City Convention Center, and I went in really to avoid the crazy Dunkin rush during a large conference. The line here was long, but the cashiers and baristas moved quickly. They also had a fun selection of «specials» that included a cider I regret I didn’t have time to try. There was also a seasonal pumpkin and a «savory» drink special. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing, but I applaud the originality. All in all, it’s a great local spot that I would certainly recommend for one’s caffeine fix.

Specialty drinks were amazing! Prices are a little high, but it’s in the Omni. where nothing is cheap anyway.

Loved having this coffee spot in our hotel for our convenience. It’s a full service location as it has some lunch items in their cooler as well as breakfast/snack items and artisanally crafted coffee items made to order by baristas on duty. It’s super spacious and great for large groups of people. There’s a loungy area towards the back close to the tv. What I thought rather unique was the record player at the front of the shop playing records(YESRECORDS). On the day we went, it was the Beach Boys as the original album cover was on display. You definitely won’t see that at Starbucks! We never saw any super long lines on our multiple visits here during our stay but brace yourself anyways due to the high amount of business folks and conventions that do come to town and stay at this hotel.

We were so disappointed. We thought it looked like a cute place, but unfortunately the pastries and bagels were stale and hardly mimicked real bakery ones. The iced coffee was so hot it curdled the milk my friend put in it. Not to mention the prices were outrageous for what you get.

Love this place! I went several times during my stay at the Omni. They have a great selection of the classics and their specialty drinks. They also stock a great assortment of pastries and yogurt parfaits. If you’re there during a rush, be prepared to wait 10 – 15 minutes for your drink. But it’s worth it! I have tried both the West End and Five Points speciality drinks– both were great! Five points over ice will make your day!

Not the greatest coffee ever, but definitely a cut above the expected for a hotel coffee shop… With prices to match.

The atmosphere is quite nice; the barristers not exactly welcoming; the coffee warm(do they know what temp a coffee should be brewed?); the flourish on the top of the coffee — well, it made me think my coffee had been sitting somewhere for a short while before they called my name to come up and get it; over-priced(5+ for a smaller cup of their signature drink). With so many coffee places to choose from, I chose this one. I won’t go back.

For a coffee house inside a major hotel, Bongo Java really brings out the local Nashville flare. I had 4 out of their 6 specialty lattes listed on the chalkboard. I could not resist! Unfortunately I can’t remember the name but it was their version caramel chocolate latte made with Tennessee sipping cream and homemade caramel sauce. It was delicious. The space is large with plenty of seating. The atmosphere is laid back, especially when they throw down an LP on the turntable. Talk about nostalgic, this is a cool place with a friendly staff.

A terrific spot for a coffee meeting. I like that it maintains a professional, yet relaxed and low maintenance feel where I would be equally happy meeting a friend or entertaining a customer. The service is fantastic and coffee delicious.

I’m not much of a coffee guy, but starting my day at Bongo Java Omni is something I could get used to. This location seems to have mastered the art of getting people in and out with a quickness without sacrificing courtesy. I attribute this to the Downtown location. Business folks and conventioneers need to get their things post haste and I can appreciate the efficiency. It’s also a good place to go for an early morning start. Figuring that I should begin my day with a semblance of health, I created a routine: a fruit cup(thankfully more than just melon pieces and the occasional berry), an everything bagel with herb cream cheese(admittedly, a different approach than most; you have to toast your own bagel and the cream cheese comes in a pre-fab cup rather than schmeared on to the bread. I understand the efficiency but I can’t say that I’m a fan. I’d rather they toast my bagel and spread my cream cheese) and a West End(mmm, honey). Simple. Tasty. Fast. This is the way to start your day.
