Great Clips

Son gets His hair cut here 1 time per month or every six weeks which ever makes him feel better. Coming on the weekend can be a wait, not my favorite thing to do, however there are shops to view and also food nearby if needed. They keep a card for you so one does not have to explain the want for the day. I realize many do this, however all the people here have been great. Of course we have our favorites but if not there we get the same service and cut we need. It is nice to have stables and staples in your life even for the small things. We come after school early in the week so no line. Their products are the same prices as any other places and have decent sales. It is a good place for an affordable haircut and if you live close it is a consistent reliable friendly place. They partnered with goodwill for coupons too.

Great Clips is one of those chains where they specialize in lunchtime haircuts. Which is why I usually see men frequent this place back home in CA. They’re no nonsense, cheap, and you’re out of there before your lunch ends. You don’t come in here expecting wine or coffee to be served to you while you wait.
The one I went to back home had an aspiring, actual stylist who spent nearly an hour on my hair (which is probably why he didn’t last long). Subsequent cuts (including shampoo) by other workers were at most 15 minutes.
This place was no different. I was in the area and had time to kill. I asked for a simple layering in the front and a trim. I’m not much of a talker when I get my hair cut, so I didn’t care that the woman spent a lot of time gabbing with her coworker’s customer in the chair across from us while she worked on me. I didn’t ask for anything drastic.
I’ve read horror stories of women who spend 5 times as much as I did and fancy salons and were not satisfied with what they got. So, I’m okay with a simple trim, and I got what I paid for.

I decided on a whim that I needed to get my haircut one day… I wanted to go for shoulder-​length after having long hair for quite a long time. The hairdresser understood everything that I was looking for in a haircut and gave me a great style that I can manage a lot better.
Even better was the coupon that I had… I only wish that Great Clips in general sent out more coupons rather than just a few every couple of months.
