I have wavy hair, and I always appreciate it when the people who do my hair do it knowing my hair will curl upwards when dry. I’m certainly no hair stylist, but I often wonder if it’s better if my hair is cut while it’s dry, then washed to get rid of the loose hair clippings.
The woman who did my hair was very meticulous about getting every strand cut straight. Unfortunately, all of that work meant nothing once my hair dried: Resulting hair length is never evenly straight.
Place was large and clean, and they had multiple stylists while I was there.

David T has been my hair savior for a few years now. I’ve followed him from salon to salon, and Hairvoyant is where he really shines! Get your hair cut and colored by him, and he can even help you with extensions too! He’s the kind of stylist that will do exactly what you want… Or if you don’t know what you want, he’ll share some ideas with you and work with you to get the perfect hair! You’ll walk in feeling ok, but after an hour or two with David, you’ll feel like a million bucks (without paying a million bucks…). You may even get a new friend out of the deal :)

I’ve been seeing David T. at Hairvoyant Salon for several months and now call him my stylist soul mate. Seriously. It doesn’t get better than David!
A friend referred me to David after my first horrifying haircut experience. Naturally, I was nervous to go to a new stylist after having all my hair hacked off! I loved that I was able to see his previous work through his Instagram account @hairdesignerd and it put my mind at ease. Not only did he turn tragedy into a new, fabulous style, he also began a treatment regimen that will help my hair stay strong while I grow it back out! I love how he takes trendy cuts and colors and modifies them so that it reflects your unique style. No cookie cutters here!
David also styled my hair for a recent photo shoot. Not only did he give me a fabulous ‘do, he accompanied me on my shoot and made sure my hair was picture perfect the entire time! His calendar fills up quickly so make sure you call ahead and make your appointment :)

I am not really big on paying lots of money to ensure my hair looks just perfect. I assume it is because if my hair does not look like a crow’s nest, I consider it to be perfect enough for me. Additionally, I honestly can’t tell what is a good haircut unless the stylist did something aggressive to it.
All to say, I went into Hairvoyant for a $ 35.00 hair cut and had pretty low standards. Brandon, however, changed my life. He made my hair look manageable, convinced me it was possible for me to grow out my hair without paying a million dollars, and made me believe that you do not need to pay top dollars to buy customer service. Every time I go in, Brandon makes me laugh and talks to me about the local eats. Before I know it, I’ve got a new haircut and he’s writing down dates when he should text and remind me that I need to go back for another one.

Got my hair dyed with low lights and some cut off, Brandon did AAHHMAZING job on my hair! I absolutely love it!!! He gave great suggestions as to what to do with my hair and it really helped! I look great for my wedding day! Will definitely be coming back for Brandon to make my hair look amazing!
Staff was very friendly, overall, had a great experience!

Carol is the newest nail technician at Hairvoyant. She is absolutely FANTASTIC. I see her every 2 weeks for a shellac manicure and without fail, at least 3 – 5 people always ask me who does my nails. She is courteous, pays great attention to detail, and goes out of her way to her best for her clients. I can’t imagine going to anyone else!

Nan is an icon in the hair biz in Nashville. Her work transforms people as she will certainly tell you what style, cut and color looks best on you. Another best in the business in Carol, the manicurist. I call her the mani-​care-​ist. Carol takes time and effort to give you the best mani/​pedi around. She’s a whiz with colors and my polish stays on twice as long as it does with other salons. These two women are worth getting to know, both professionally and personally. HaiirVoyant is lucky to have them in their employee. Go treat yourself. You’ll be glad you did.

I went here after my sister suggested it, I’m so glad I went! Elizabeth did an amazing job. Great service with a smile.

I was a little worried about hair color but I got cleaned up good off extraneous hair color on my skin and the result was more than I expected. Male, short hair price $ 30 which I thought was reasonable.

Since we are new to the area we saw this place and decided to get a haircut here. My husband had a haircut in December. The lady he had was pretty good at doing basic haircuts with scissors for men.
I just had my haircut with a different stylist yesterday. I went in thinking I would cut my hair cut short and explained this to the lady. I had to tell her 5 times to keep cutting my hair shorter. She was worried about cutting too much off. Her previous experience is that when women say they want an inch cut off they really mean ½ inch trim. It was a bit frustrating to keep having her cut my hair after multiple times showing her where I wanted my hair cut too. I finally got the length but going back to get the style cut. I’m not sure I would go back. They are like a upgrade from Fantastic Sam’s or Great Clips. Hair cut is $ 30.
If you are looking for a basic cut and can give them specific details on exactly what you want, they will do the job. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a stylish hair cut.

For the price, Hairvoyant is a good salon. I’m always wary of going to cheaper places because I have ruler straight hair and if they screw it up, there’s no hiding it; I just have to have it cut again.
I couldn’t afford to go to my $ 70 haircut place but my hair looked awful, so a friend recommended Hairvoyant. I was extremely pleased with the way I looked and the haircut held up after I washed it and still looked good.
I don’t really care about the décor of my hair salon. Sure it’s nice to go somewhere that looks like a spa, but it doesn’t justify paying twice as much for a haircut, and this is how I feel about Hairvoyant. The décor is basic salon, but the stylists are a cut above the norm.

A good place for a hair cut if you find yourself not liking the cheap-​o places. Here a hair cut is $ 30. They do an outstanding job though. They always get my hair just the way I want it.
