I have got to stop ordering from this place. I don’t know why am a glutton for punishment. I am constantly disappointed by the prices and the quality. I ordered at 3PM in the afternoon. I was told that I was the first delivery order on the books. Yet my food arrived lukewarm to cold, my fries were burnt and soggy, my pizza was burnt and bland and mostly empty of toppings. My salad was wilted, and the tomatoes were mostly green. Purely pitiful. Goodbye Pie in the Sky!

Not sure whats up with this place, we went a few nights ago with my wives family, it wasn’t very busy(4 other tables, and 3 servers). I guess they were having an issue in kitchen with the printers going down and oh no, having to cook 60 chicken wings at once. Food took forever, salads never came out, the one that did took 17 minutes, I repeat for a salad. It didn’t seem like anyone was in charge or knew what they were doing for that matter. No one mentioned to us that the printers went down or that the food was not even being prepared, they just let us sit there in the dark about it. My wives dad went up to ask about it and some very confused younger lady(I guess was their manager on duty) seemed like a deer headlights, there was a severe lack of leadership on the front of the house positions all around. You got to let people know about issues in kitchen and if and why their food is taking forever, We could all see the other tables getting just as upset as we were getting and even heard others complain. As we were leaving a table of 4 had sat there for 15 minutes or so without water or even being greeted. I repeat, they had 3 servers on and 4 tables total. Just seemed like lack of training, leadership, proper management, or maybe just apathy? Either way we will not be back, too many places and better pizza and food in Nashville. I wanted to like you Pie in the sky, I really did.

Like the pizza but takes awhile for service when going with family and the grandchildren.

This was our favorite pizza place when we moved here a few years ago. However, the service is so hit or miss now that it makes you wonder what is going on. Almost feels like you are bothering the servers by coming in. Are recent trip in a Thursday with my 2 kids, and a server stopped the hostess in front of us and said«you’re not sitting them in my section are you?» Legitimate reasons to ask that, maybe she had to leave or something, just odd to hear. Pizza’s are still excellent. They do a nice job of making sure the kiddos have dough to play with. Someone said in an earlier review, but something is off about the place now.

We came here for a late dinner while we were in the Lennox Village area. I wasn’t overwhelmed with anything great. It was mediocre, average. It had some«small town vibes» which was cute. The restaurant was extremely small, so for anyone with a largish party, I would recommend checking out another pizza joint. We originally ordered their cheesy bread, but the waitress insisted that we get the cheese ring thing. Basically it was a ring of bread and cheese. It had no flavor or garlic seasoning. It tasted like you put a string cheese in the middle of a crescent role. There were four of us, and we ordered two medium pizzas. It was more than enough! The pizza was definately 4 stars. The crust was super unique and had a weird flavor that I couldnt pin point. But it was a good kind of weird. I might consider picking up one of their pizzas to go. The vibe of the place was just super odd. And we were seated in this super awkward circular booth, where we couldnt have a great coversation without having to twist our necks. Like I said, odd place.

High priced pizzas and they are very average for the most part. The service is always hit or miss, and beer selection is very limited. The only way I eat pie in the sky these days is if it’s pickup and even then you have to be willing to spend $ 20 after driving to pick it up. Wish something could be done to improve this place — seems to have gone downhill over the years.

Good solid pizza! Second time I’ve been here and will definitely be back. Created our own pizza with pepp, spicy sausage, and roasted red peppers! Good overall flavor and quality. Got a few draft beers as well. A little pricy but not terrible.

Every time I come to Pie in the Sky I always enjoy it! The pizza is so delicious and the employees are kind! Our waitress was a sweetheart and she was on top of drinks and dirty dishes. After my awful experience at Chili’s, I was impressed with the service here.

Decent food but overpriced. Service is hit or miss. 5 beers on draft. We’ve ordered Togo a few times but it always ends up being $ 35-$ 40 which stinks.(for a large pizza and cheesy bread.?Makes it hard to justify when you can order from somewhere else for less than $ 20. Last time we were there our server was too young to pour our beer, so each time we ordered one it would be ten minutes before it arrived at our table. Not impressed.

New manager is awesome and the service is great. As far as the pizza, there on none better in Nashville. Worth every penny! Don’t pass up any chance to try it. You will not be disappointed.

My favorite pizza spot in Nashville. I was a regular in the cool springs location but unfortunately they closed down. This location is just as good. I always get the Happy Family pizza and it never disappoints. What set them apart is the higher quality topping compared to other pizza joints.

Went there with my daughter and was seated promptly. Waitress was nice. We were the only ones in there. When our food came out it was room temperature. I did not eat mine and my daughter ate very little of hers. I am hoping may be it was just an off day for them.

Started out great had a spiral breadstick it was great. They sat us promptly and took our order we had the familia pie which we waited way too long for and they almost served it to another table. Then the wait staff just disappeared — really. Just gone. No one filled drinks or brought us a box, nothing. I am watching the other tables no one has food they are all looking around? I took the 10 minutes plus we have been waiting for our waitress to come back to write this review. Honestly the pizza was not bad I liked it. But probably won’t be back. The big window into the kitchen is cool but hey owners/management you gotta get some help and get faster faster in the kitchen. I know pizza takes a few but seriously. Not real happy with the price for what we had either. I probably won’t be back.

Food was outstanding. Restaurant was short staffed as a result of weather(actually one of only a handful of places that were open in the city) and they did a great job with our meal. Just one star shy of perfect because our initial order was misplaced; however they made amends. Quality exceeded expectations. Outstanding pizza; getting hungry for more as I write this!

I love sneaking away for lunch here. Their calzones are excellent and very filling. Big bonus… they have a bar! They are so much better than your fast food Italian places. The atmosphere is also very nice inside and out.

I wouldn’t post as gluten free. Not celiac friendly. Can’t even get a salad without croutons.

I live right in Lenox so this place is one of those, «yeah, let’s swing nearby for food» kind of places for me. The food personally hasn’t ever blown my mind but it’s of decent quality for a casual meal. I’ve ordered the same thing 3 out of 4 times I’ve visited here which is the Firecracker pasta. I personally love spicy food and in my experience, most«supposedly» spicy pastas in most Italian places aren’t spicy enough for me and this one brings adequate heat. Their cocktails are pretty decent as well.

Went later on a weekday night, so they were not very busy. I had bigger expectations about the place than I should have. I wanted to be surprised by the pizza and other offerings but I left disappointed. Service was okay and the pizza was average. I do like the fact they fresh toppings but there was almost an over abundance on our pizza. Sauce lacked flavor and the crust was nothing too spectacular. I wouldn’t see myself going out of my way to eat here again, especially living so far away.

Went here with a few friends for a surprise bridal shower the other night. I think I was coming from the wrong way on Nolensville because it took me forever to actually find where it was. Mostly my own fault though. Definitely sufficient parking and it says it has a 2 hour limit, but in talking to the hostess they basically never enforce it. The service here was really good. Our server, Leigh(I think), was really nice, checked back often, and was just an overall excellent waitress. We got the spinach and artichoke dip to start off, which was pretty good. But you get such a small amount of dip and then basically a pound of these chips to go with it, so I feel like there should be more dip to balance it out. We still had like half the chips left after the dip was gone. I opted for the small ultra thin crust Hawaiian pizza. Since I’m from the Chicago area, I’m kind of a pizza snob so I guess I can’t really be a fair judge. I just thought it was alright. I’ve had far worse, but I’ve definitely had better. The sauce was actually pretty good, and tasted like it was made from scratch and not just out of a can, so that was a plus. The crust had more of a cornmeal flavor, whereas I prefer more of the flour type dough so it could just be personal preference. Overall, this is a pretty decent place but it wouldn’t be my «go-to» pizza joint with all the other good options in town.
