What happened to this place? I have been a customer since they opened and it has continually gone down hill. After my last visit I have now rated this a 1-star establishment. The bartenders have such a bad attitude and if you complain about the food it only gets worse. My burger ordered medium rare was well done and upon the next burger showing up it had a cold egg and cold fries! I think it’s time the owner stepped in! The cleanliness is another issue that I will not comment on. Very sad!

I get it, you’re in the Natick Mall, but that should mean you deliver better food. I am actually changing my original review from a 3 to a 2. Don’t know what happened here that made this place take a dive. I’m really hoping you guys get back to great service and food. I’ll change my review upon my next visit. Maybe!

Very good burger and fries. I ordered«The Fenway», crisp bacon, cheese, and fried egg. Burger was cooked well, egg was runny(how I like it). Overall a great experience at the Met Bar, definitely will be coming back soon.

I don’t like to give negative review’s and my wife and I have been to the Met previously and like it and will return. We had lunch there today and are compelled to comment: first, it is Saturday of a holiday(New Year’s) weekend, the place is very busy and we should cut them some slack. Here’s the but: by wife had a turkey burger it was fine but accompanied by cold, as in cold french fries. Cold. I had the creamy tomato soup with the grilled cheese sandwich: sandwich great but soup not hot enough. Probably would not have written the review except for the following: the LOUDMUSIC almost drove us out of the place. As I said, we’ll be back but this experience was rocky. Our server Kyle was very outstanding and should be complimented… they were very busy and he was doing a great job. Next time I’m sure things will be better.

Came to MET tonight with friends from the suburbs. Place is very well known for their burgers, but I ordered the Steak Tips. The tips were a solid 7(huge portion) but too much BBQ sauce on them. We tried the cauliflower app which was tasty but a little bland. I suggest this restaurant to anyone stuck at the Natick Mall looking for a quick bite. The service was the standout of the meal… very attentive waiter.

I’v eaten at this place 3 times in the past 2 months and I’m not sure why. First time I ordered a burger and when I picked it up to take a bite 2 tablespoons of mayo shot out of one side of the thing onto my hand. The real problem was that there was 3 more heaping tablespoons of mayo still hiding inside it. It went back for a correction. They brought me the same patty(now cool) wrapped in a new bun with trimmings. I chalked it up to an off night in the kitchen. The second time they got the burger right(if not exactly exceptional) the first try. Tonite? The last straw. I ordered the staff favorite crushed meatballs with 12 hour red sauce and pasta. The 12 hour red sauce was utterly unexceptional. The crushed meatballs were exceptional. As in exceptionally hard. I can honestly say I’ve never been served anything like them in my life. Rather than being crushed, as in shredded, they were crushing. As in they had the density of dense clay with a thin outer crust of stone. Cutting into them was more akin to sawing into a tree branch and the outer crust was so hard that rapping them on the tabletop would have resulted in a knocking sound. I AMNOTKIDDINGOREXAGGERATING. I had to pierce the meatball with a fork and saw through it with significant effort. The outer crust on the things was beyond crisp(crisp meatballs?) — it was literally hard. This dish immediately qualified as utterly and incomprehensibly bad food.

Fantastic FANTASTIC nachos. Pork shoulder on them and guess what, they actually LAYERTHEM. My biggest pet peeve about most places nachos is that every place just pile it on top and you don’t get any sort of distribution after you eat the first few nachos. NOTATTHEMETTHOUGH! Their burgers were pretty good, I wouldn’t say they were amazing for this place specializing in burgers. $ 14 for a burger doesn’t seem too bad for a specialized burger. Their drinks were decent, my girlfriend got the raspberry lime rickey which was awesome. I had the sweet tea and mai tai, neither of which were particularly strong but were decent. I would have liked them to have a bit more oomph to them for the price $ 10 or $ 11 I believe, but oh well. I would go back for the nachos alone, the portions were huge and I probably could have(should have) stopped after that but we were with another couple so not getting an entrée would’ve been a bit awkward. Anyway, I’d go back if I were near the mall, probably not as a destination on its own though just due to how crazy the mall always is for parking.

Really horrible. I went in to this place with my husband and sat at the bar. We were surprised that they allowed small children to sit at bar. I know that this is illegal but they allow it … We were greated by a female bartender with glasses and brown hair that seemed to be in a bad mood. Didn’t say hello just said whatb do you want to drink. We said we didn’t know yet because we just sat down. She walked away then came back and said well what do you want? Right then and there I wanted to leave but I didn’t say anything. I ordered a sangria it arrived a wh I left later with no garnish and the bartender slammed it down. My husband asked for a martini it arrived warm he asked for more ice and the bartender put up a stink. I seriously never complain to management but I wanted to but couldn’t find one. My husband ordered a chowder that arrived burnt. He didn’t eat it. We were going to order dinner but the service was so horrible and our bartender was so rude. Never mind that I felt uncomfortable sitting at a bar with small children. Everyhing is over priced for the quality Done. Never coming back. Went to Cheesecake Factory for great food and service

My wife and have been here in numerous occasion and every time we must order the Paris Burger. The meat is cooked perfectly and the egg makes it taste so good. They have a nice selection of beer and the server is always on point. Parking is easy since it’s located inside the mall. Looking forward to coming back.

The bartender Chrissy(?I think that’s what I over heard?) was amazing! I came in without any idea what to get. We talked about a few recommendations and she completely nailed it! Great drinks. Amazing food. Top notch service!

My wife and I have been coming here for the past 3 years on a consistent basis. One thing that I do agree with some of the other reviewers: it is a bit pricey. Then again, this isn’t Red Robin & it is located in the expensive wing of the Natick Mall. However, you do get what you pay for here. On our my recent visit, I ordered the«traditional», which is a basic ½ lb burger with lettuce and tomato. That cost $ 11, and it’s one of the cheapest items on the menu, excluding appetizers. The burger was fresh, juicy, and perfectly cooked. I wanted it medium, and that’s exactly what I received. All burgers come with choice of side, but I always choose the fries here. These are served hot and crispy in a generous portion. My wife ordered the Paris burger, which is loaded up with a fried egg, brie, caramelized onion, and mayo. Her only complaint was that the burger kept sliding off the bun, but she thoroughly enjoyed it also. Tip for this burger: cut it in half or just eat it with a fork & knife. In the past, I have gotten their rigatoni bolanganese and enjoyed it also. Even though it doesn’t say so on the menu, it does come lightly sprinkled with cheese. You won’t notice it once it has melted into the sauce, which was hearty and satisfying. The service here has generally been good, but sometimes it takes the server a little while to get to the table. Overall, we really enjoy coming here. If you don’t mind paying a bit more for high quality food, then you will probably like it here. I doubt you will leave with a to go box. The portions are not huge, but you will not leave hungry.

Met Bar is convenient when I’m out shopping, and that is all I can say about it. It is very overpriced for the quality and quantity. I have never had a meal that I was excited about, but for some reason my book club friends always suggest it as a meetup place. The bar is okay but nothing special. The last time I was here my order was put in wrong and when I politely asked for what it was supposed to come with, the waiter kept arguing with me. I just wanted what I ordered. It was frustrating to say the least. I left there feeling like I had paid way too much for a meal that wasn’t great, and that the service made it even worse.

Hi, I don’t normally comment on restaurants for issues, but my order this night was disappointing. I ordered takeout, watched the girl check both bags at pickup and ring me up. A little concerned that my salad with chicken cost 22.00! I didn’t say anything and an hour later at home realized the salad that was recommended to me when I asked for a «regular» salad had bacon cheese egg beets and avocado. Way more than a regular salad and something that should have been mentioned as I ordered on the phone. We couldn’t eat the 22.00 salad. All the sauces for my Tokyo burger were missing which are key to making that dish delicious. I had a cheeseburger over arugula :( So sad that my favorite restaurant got my order so wrong.

Really just OK. For its location near the luxe stores at the Natick Collection, er Mall, I was expecting something nicer. Décor is dark and drab, and space cavernous without any soul – felt like a generic [insert random hotel name] restaurant. Server was the bright spot – she was friendly, seemed to like her job and offered menu advice. They tout their burger bar menu items, and many of my colleagues who have dined there before have raved about it, but I felt it was unoriginal. Ordered the Athens burger, with tzatziki and feta, hoping to have my mouth blown away. The patty was far smaller than I was expecting and the taste neither bad nor exceptional. Maybe I don’t get the concept, left fulfilled but expecting greater quality and value.

Last visit was really good! My fajitas were so tasty and I liked the unusual presentation. The calamari was so good this time and the sauce is always good when it’s super spicy!

I have had better for sure, my burger in a bowl was fine but the mashies were def not real. My daughter ordered a burger with no onions and yes it came with onions and we also ordered it cooked medium… it was rare. This place used to be great… its slipping.

Pretty sure the food I just had here was contaminated with gluten(maybe the deep fryer or grill) even though I explained that I have an allergy and was specifically told that the French fries were made in a dedicated gf fryer. Other than that, the service was OK, but I won’t be back. P. s. Maybe it wasn’t gluten, as my fellow diner is also now sick.

Absolutely horrible. Bad service, bad food, bad everything. I left a really, reallly, really bad tip(about 2 bucks) on a $ 47 dollar tab. 3 beers and two GREASY burgers for 50 bucks, you’d bettter step up that service! I was really let down and would never recommend this place nor step foot in here again. 3 beers $ 18.00 Avocado burger with no cheese $ 14.00 Greasy fried egg burger $ 14.00 __________________________ Not worth one penny.
