As a frequent shopper at the Plaza Bonita mall, Pholicious is my new go-to place to grab some delicious vietnamese food! To start off, this place sells amazing boba drinks! They have many flavors to choose from. My two favorite drinks are the strawberry banana(which isn’t shown on the menu) and the taro. The workers perfectly blend the strawberry and the banana together to make the most delicious drink ever. The taro is also made with perfection. Some other flavors that I’ve tried are avocado, red velvet, and thai tea. However, while these three are delicious, I do not order them as often as the strawberry banana and the taro. In addition to this, the very kind workers gave me a lot of options for my drinks. They asked me if I would like it more icy or more watery, asked me if I wanted whip cream, and asked me what kind of boba I would like. The boba is extremely delicious as well! The phở is extremely tasty and lives up to the expectations of vietnamese phở. I typically get the phở beef because of how great the beef taste. The soup itself is flavorsome. The noodles taste like ordinary vietnamese noodles. The beef is cooked to perfection. The workers put these three ingredients in perfect ratios! They also give you bean sprouts, lemon, jalapeños, and some type of hot sauce and fish sauce for taste. Combine the phở with a delicious drink, and you’ll be extremely satisfied! Whenever I don’t get the phở, I usually get the spring rolls in combination with a drink. To be 100% honest with you, these are the best spring rolls you can get in San Diego! They are very tasty, and in combination with the sauce they give you, it can be extremely fulfilling. The egg rolls are tasty as well. I have yet to try the banh mi, but by looking at the picture another reviewer gave, it looks very tasty and I’ll definitely try it on my next trip to pholicious. The workers are extremely nice and outgoing. I asked if I could have a sample of the boba on the first day I went to pholicious, and they gave me that sample without hesitation. They give you these stamp cards, and if you get 10 stamps on the card, they give you free phở! I wish they gave out these stamp cards during the early days of pholicious because at this point, I would have finished many stamp cards already. If I were to give a suggestion, I’d suggest that they put the strawberry banana on the menu. It’s truly amazing and deserves more attention. They now have an option for a combo that I have yet to try. I recommend everyone to try pholicious whenever you are hungry, or whenever you are craving vietnamese food! You will be satisfied.

Pholicious and nail should be the name of this business. I know Vietnamese people have phở and nail shops but come on not together! I was actually enjoying it, gathering all the noodles and meat to the bottom of the bowl when I found something pink, someone nail extensions. I started from the top and found a nail(drake).

Came by here looking for smoothies and discovered this newer phở place in the food court. The staff is very friendly and it’s cool to have this addition in the mall. The menu is very concise with a good selection of food items and drinks. Ended up getting a strawberry banana slush with boba which was pretty good. Tasty and the boba was well made, and the price was inexpensive(especially compared to the other food spots nearby for smoothies/cold beverages). Overall I enjoyed my visit and I do hope to come back and try their food!

This place is horrible. It’s side by side with Jamba Juice. They have food for sale also but if their food is as bad a my #14 red velvet boba. I beg you people don’t waste your money. Go to a real phở place just not this one. No good.

Wanted to check this new phở place in the food court of Plaza Bonita. I was craving for phở, so I had a chicken and vegetable phở with a mango with boba drink. The soup for the phở was flavorful and the noodles were soft and plentiful! I really enjoyed it! The boba in my mango drink was awful. Boba was not fresh and the mango slush was made out of powdered stuff. I did not enjoy my mango boba. Hubby got the Bahn mi and got egg rolls for my daughter. The egg rolls were hot and crispy. Hubby enjoyed his sandwich. The lady at the register was nice and our order came out quickly. There were plenty of tables in front of the phở place. I will be back for more phở but not the boba drinks. I have had fresher tasting boba drinks at other places. Great addition to the food places in the food court at Plaza Bonita. I will be back to try other items on their menu.

I had the veggie phở and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had. Super salty broth. Not sure how the meat options are but the veggie phở is really bad.

Being a heavy phở eater, I was not impressed with the quality of the phở here. The beef was bland, the sauces were offered in small cups(could’ve used a lot more since the soup was tasteless), and they didn’t offer Thai basil. On the contrary, the egg rolls were exceptional. The only down side however, they didn’t come with any mint to eat it with. Save a trip and go to Phở Cali in mission valley.

I stopped by this new place in the Plaza Bonita food Court, not for some Phở, but for some Bún ch but I quickly learned that they do not offer it. So, not being in the mood for some Phở, I ordered some Vietnamese Egg Rolls which cost $ 3.99 for four rolls and a grilled chicken Bánh mì with all the fixings for I believe, if I remember correctly, $ 6 and some change. Each item I ate was a mix bag. The egg rolls for instance were very well fried and had a gold crispy exterior, but given they were previously frozen, the inside was very mushy, to soft without any texture. They tasted very good, but what I believe was pork meat with some vegetables were just so soft. I hope they find a way to keep the inside from becoming mushy because they had goof flavor. They were good eating with the hot sauce they provided. The Bánh mì was pretty good. The chicken did not have that nice char flavor and color, that most char grilled chicken Bánh mì’s do. It could, because they told me the chicken is made off site and brought it. The chicken was breast meat, needed seasoning, and was tender for the moist part. In the end, I though the chicken was uneventful and needed more of an impact. The cucumber, cilantro, carrots, and freshly sliced jalapenos were all good and I really liked the crunchy French roll that also had a bit of a chew. However, they put some kind of white dressing on the bread, I think it might of been mayo and I hope not because I am not a fan of mayo. Anyways, when the warm chicken hit the sauce, it diluted and soaked through the bottom of the roll and after a few bites, the Bánh mì started falling apart. I think they should but a layer of greens above the sauce, then the chicken, to avoid that. In the end, I wish they served Bún ch and with a little tweaks here and there with the rolls and Bánh mì, and I will be a fan at the least. By the way, the employees were very nice and sweet.

Totally exceeded my expectations. The broth of the Phở was surprisingly flavored really nice while the Thai tea drink I also ordered tasted absolutely perfect. The staff was super friendly and menu was very simple and easy to follow. Highly recommend!

New spot in Plaza. Had the beef phở and spring rolls to test. Phở was tasty and decently priced. The spring rolls were one of the best i’ve had in San Diego. I would definitely come here again.

My family loves eating at the food court at plaza bonita mall every now and then. Pholicious is a great new healthy and super yummy addition. I got the phở chicken & veggie and 2 spring rolls. Came to $ 10.88, which I think is very reasonable. It was a regular size bowl(could only eat 2⁄3 and 1 spring roll). I will definitely be coming back! Also, staff was very friendly. They let me try a sample of the soup first!
