Longgggggggggggggggggggg Wait! My god a few people in front of me and i watched my watch 19 minutes at 2:30pm!!! Unacceptable the lady behind me was hiding the frustration quite well. This guy was moving slower then I do I was like wow everything slow this slow that I felt like I was on some carribean island or something with service like that. The guy was fine and normal but he is in the wrong position he needs to get another person to do the work for him and let him take cash or something. In any case the lady behind me laughed and made a funny face like thank god that saga is over and the burrito was not good it was below average and no salsa i was suprised and i like lettuce but no big deal thats not so common. The price is the huge point of this operation being cheap $ 4.50 for a regular size burrito. Never going back oh and ordinary ingredients too nothing but average/below average. Ok move along there is better if you value your time sanity, and the fact you age a lot in line lol waiting for a burrito.

Burrito Dave’s is a truck! So not always in the exact same spot, but every time I’ve gone there for lunch, he’s been parked in Needham Heights on Highland Ave near the CVS and Starbucks. (He will sometimes send updates about his location or availability via twitter — — such as the day a couple of months ago when his truck was in for repairs.) Grab a burrito, head across the street to the park, plant yourself on a bench, enjoy.

I got a steak burrito grande, and thought it was pretty good. The tortilla was steamed, which was a definite plus, both in terms of texture and for holding the whole thing together. The rice and beans were both fine, and the meat was tender and flavorful. It would’ve been nice if there was a little more meat, maybe a little less beans, but for $ 5.50 it was fine. I think the pico was the highlight of the whole thing. Very flavorful. Next time, I’m going to ask for extra. The biggest drawback was the time it took to prepare. I certainly appreciate that everything is made to order, but they need to work on getting food out faster. If there were more than three people in front of me in line and I was in a hurry, I probably wouldn’t bother waiting. All in all, a good alternative for Needhamites not wanting to drive all the way out to Brookline for a burrito. Definitely worth trying.
