Taylors Stationery

By far, the BEST gift and card shop in Needham. Considering the many throughout Wellesley and Newton, this is really the only gift /​card store in Needham that is comparable to the others (like Papyrus, Paper Source and others). Taylors carries a bit of everything. Lots and lots of cards, lots of office supplies, some clothing, Needham décor, gift bags, and lots of picture frames. The staff were friendly and knowledgable, ad the store was extremely organized and clean (they did get a renovation only about one year ago, I expect this place to be organized, plus what gift stores are really a mess anyway?). Good experience at Taylors, I will most definitely making the trip to the Needham gift gem more often. 5 stars.

Come on people, show a little love for your local stationery store. They have a huge selection of cards, gift wrap and the usual knick knacks. They also sell Vera Bradley bags and helium balloons for $ 1 each. Great deal.
Support your local merchants or else they won’t be around much longer.

Taylors is THE place to go if you have any kind of stationary need and they have a lovely selection of gifts and home accessories as well. My experience with invitations in particular has been outstanding! They have a large selection of books to choose from but also have a great. selection that can be printed right there with quick turn around time… they give truly amazing service! The owner is on premises and you can tell… Taylors is the epitome of local shopping and well worth a visit.

I just had my business cards done at Taylors, after a bad experience at another Needham stationary store. The salesman found the motif I wanted right away!!! I got amazing help from the saleswoman, she helped me change a few things and the cards are fabulous!!! I got my proof in short order and in less than 2 weeks I had my cards. I will go to Taylors anytime I need any business cards or stationary!

I have shopped in this store since the 1980’s! I always find something of interest — be it a gift, office/​stationery supply, something for my home or me! It seems like new items come in all the time — things that are unique. Plus they have The Best Selection of greeting cards! My son likes the pen selection. The other day I bought a nice scarf (for me), a box of Colonial Candles (for my home) and a Vera Bradley bag (for a gift). Sorry but I have to disagree with one of the reviewers about the employees. They have always been helpful to me.

As the previous reviewer said, yes, Taylor’s has cute cards and nice little gifts. However, the people who work there are NOT FRIENDLY. I went in today to pick up a card and a gift, and the salewoman actually gave me the once over, head to toe. I wish I had the guts to say «hey honey, you got something against these LL Bean flip flops or Vera Bradley Bag?» (um, they SELL those bags) but decided to just take out my aggression on Unilocal.
Why have all the obnoxious people wound up in Needham?

Its a cute store with TONS of pens, paper, journals, stationary, and more. If you are trying to find a specific pen or pencil, I am pretty sure Taylor’s will have it. Its pricier than Staples and Office Max, but they have huge selections on everything. They also have lots of cute gifts as well– little trinkets.
