Hands down, best pizza around… I was raised in the northeast and hated pizza in Texas. This place does pizza right! Been a loyal customer since they opened and will continue to get my pizza here!

New York Pizza Pub in my opinion is at the top of the list when it comes to great pizza in New Braunfels. I have been going there for over two years and have yet to be disappointed. The pizza’s are huge and the pieces are huge, I can only eat two max(maybe 3 on a good day). Give it a try, I don’t think you will regret it!

Hooray! Authentic NY Pizza here in Texas!(You’re gonna need a bigger restaurant!) Truly love treating the family to your pizza.

A lot of other Unilocal reviews have mentioned poor service. The service is what you would expect out of any pizza place where you put in your order and they bring it out when it’s ready. The restaurant is smaller and there is high demand for the pizza. Overall, if you are not willing to wait then this isn’t the place for you. The pizza has fresh ingredients and is baked in the brick oven before your eyes. Our favorite is the cheese pizza. It is the least greasy and allows you to enjoy without all the toppings falling off their ultra-thin NY style crust. As a wing lover, the wings are best wings for all types – those who like no-heat to those who want it to be a three-alarm fire. They are very crispy, juicy, and meaty. The garlic knots are similar to pretzels at a fare. They are well seasoned and big for a good price. Good beer selection!

The best Pizza in New Braunfels! If only they’d add stuffed cheese into their garlic knots!

Have not been disappointed yet. their dough is delicious, perfectly baked pizza every time, not to mention still a great value. the wings are also very good, could use a bigger variety of flavors though, but will fry them to your taste. will continue to recommend this establishment.

Best pizza around, hands down. I can’t imagine a better place. I have been going there since they opened and it is at the top of our dinner options when we eat out. NY Pizza Pub is the epitome of a neighborhood pizza joint. The staff is awesome and the owner Rich really cares about his customers and standards. I can’t count how many times I have eaten there and it has been excellent every time. Try the Surfer Dude, it’s the best.

First, I’d like to start by saying that I don’t usually write reviews. In fact this is the only one that I’ve done on Unilocal. We’re here in New Braunfels for a family trip to Schlitterbaun. Normally, we wouldn’t be here on a Sunday but it being Labor Day weekend we have the extra day so here we are. I normally use Unilocal to try and find local food joints to try and find something out of the ordinary. Today, we were in the mood for pizza & wings. The closest 5 star rated pizza place is «Underground Pizza» 0.2 miles away. BINGO… Or so I thought. We pull up and, well… They’re closed on Sunday’s. Turns out there’s a reason why we’re here on Sunday because the next place on the list is New York Pizza Pub. Let me just say that the staff was amazing! From the person taking the order to the guy putting ice back into the coke machine. Everyone had great manners and respected that all of us were there to eat! Very polite and they actually seemed to WANT to be at work! You don’t get that much anymore ANYWHERE and guess what that’s just the beginning. The pizza WASAMAZING!!! Best pizza I’ve had in a LONG, LONG time. We eat pizza A LOT! The wings were great as well and the Bleu cheese took me back to my childhood when wings and Bleu cheese is all I used to order at Copper Caboose in Lubbock! Bottom line. You have to try this place! It’s fantastic and the price is very, very reasonable! Thanks guys for providing an enjoyable place to eat for me and my family! I give my highest recommendation!

This is a must stop for the family when we are in New Braunfels. Alway love walking in and seeing the fresh dough being hand stretched. Being able to see them putting the pies together right before the put them into the stone oven. Every pizza we have tried has had great flavor. Our last visit was on a Sunday evening and it was packed, we had to sit outside, but that wasn’t a bad thing, until people had to pull up and leave their cars running while they waited. So if you want some really good pizza and you are in town give this place a go you won’t regret it!

Best pizza in Texas, by far! The breaded chicken tenders are amazing! Garlic nots are good, the cheesecake was excellent. The only negative I can give this place is that it is too far away for me. You must try this place, you will regret it if you don’t

One of my college roommates and I traveled to New Braunfels for a couple of days and found New York Pizza Pub on Unilocal and decided to put it on our food schedule. We have high standards for NY style pizza seeing as we went to college in Austin, home of Salvation Pizza, Homeslice, East Side Pies, and the like. Dinnertime conversation went something like this: «This is so good. Ugh. So good.» «Yeah…so good.» And that was it. We talked of nothing else. We ordered garlic knots and a medium pizza(½ mushroom and pepperoni, ½ Italian sausage and roasted red peppers) to share. Foolish us. The pizza was huge and we were only able to finish half of it. The pizza had a really nice, crispy, thin crust and was piled high with toppings. I have never been to a pizza place so generous with its toppings. This pizza had more toppings than even when I order double toppings at other pizza places. The garlic knots are doused in garlicky, buttery goodness. The tasty kind of buttery goodness. WHEN(not if) you come here, you must get these garlic knots. One order comes with five. The knots are toasty on the outside, but soft on the inside and topped with melted butter and minced garlic. Be careful, because they are HOT when they first bring them out and you will definitely want to just stuff the whole thing in your mouth. I did not exercise caution and promptly burned my tongue and the roof of my mouth. Service was also exceptional. The girl who took our order at the counter was super friendly and sweet. The garlic knots came out about 4 – 7 minutes after we seated ourselves. We briefly wondered if maybe they were pre-made and reheated since they came out so fast, but after eating them, we definitely think they are freshly baked. The pizza came out shortly after. All in all, we probably waited at most 15 minutes for our food. Before going to bed that night, the last thing we said to each other was, «That pizza, so good.» To sum it up: the food is capable of robbing you of your words and service is the very embodiment of «Southern hospitality». I’m currently in the process of convincing my sister-in-law to return to New Braunfels with me JUST so I can come back here to eat. *Note: I reheated a leftover slice the day after in our hotel room microwave and the crust was soggy, but I’m blaming that on the microwave and the fact that I could only microwave it for 30 seconds because I didn’t have a plate and was using a small Styrofoam takeout container. I imagine the leftovers would actually be SUPER delicious when reheated properly, because my shoddily reheated slice was still yummy.

This place is a home run! We ordered BBQ chicken pizza, and discovered upon pickup that they don’t have it on the menu. They made it anyway! I loved the pizza!

We recently got wings to go on wing night and they were terrible. I’m wondering if the wings are different when they have the special or they have changed their wings all together. I hope not because they use to be so good.

Garlic knots, large pie and bacon cheeseburger pie… All were very tasty. Staff was friendly and price was great for our group of 12. Owners onsite and really care about their business. I would eat here regularly if I was a local. Keep it up!

I’m not a big fan of New York style pizza, so it’s not surprising that I wasn’t a big fan of the food here. The surprising bit is that I didn’t really care for the toppings either. I had a slice of the Supreme. Though it was covered in nicely/thinly sliced onions, I didn’t really get a good onion flavor. I picked off a slice of pepperoni and it wasn’t addicting at all… being closer to a salami flavor. I didn’t end up finishing the slice because it seemed boring flavor-wise.

The pizza is so dang good here, probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. When we call to pickup, they already know that its me who is calling. I realize that this is largely due to the software they use, but it makes me feel special. I gave it 4 stars because that one time I ordered a pizza from here, was a quoted a time, and when I arrived after that quoted time, I was told that they messed up on my pizza and they had to remake it. OK, thanks for telling me and thanks for not making me pay for a messed up pizza, but since I had to wait, I expected to be offered a complimentary appetizer or dessert. I didn’t come back for over a year after that. I tried to find contact information for the manager on the website but only found an email address that didn’t work.

My wife and I decided to stop and have lunch here today. The restaurant is not far down the street from the New Braunfels High School. I ordered a medium Pepperoni Pizza and my wife had a Grilled Chicken Salad. She had Tea and I had a Diet Coke. Twenty something bucks seemed a normal price. They call your name when it’s ready, you raise your hand and they bring it to the table. My wife said her salad was OK. My Pizza was hot and the crust was thin, which is great. I’m not sure why, but the center of the crust was just soggy wet. Each piece of pizza was dripping wet of grease. I used paper towels, several of them, to dry each piece. Overall, I think the pizza was not good. I had to throw away the center section. I also was not happy with so much grease.
