I bumped this up to four stars because the service was so sweet and solicitous. On the basis of the food alone, I would give it three stars. It was very good, but not excellent, mostly because the shrimp in my pasta were over cooked and tough. The pasta itself, the sauce etc., were delicious, but hard to forgive a tough shrimp. The starter salad was creative and fresh, although the bacon in it could have been cooked to a more crisp state, it was very soft, almost raw. The wines were diverse and interesting. Most importantly, I thought the value relative to price seemed pretty good. The décor is attractive, a little cramped, but we sat outside so we weren’t bothered by that. I’d definitely go back and try some more things.

Small and tucked behind some stores on Elm, but really good food. It’s a tiny little place, but they have outdoor tables, excellent service, a large selection on the menus and they’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner(2x a week).

Excellent fresh healthy food. Every soup I have had has been excellent. Lobster roll is awesome. Dinner is well worth it and a good selection for a smaller restaurant. Intimate space but not too loud or tight. My favorite thing is their not as well known egg sandwich with nitrite/nitrate-free bacon and a high-quality egg topped with cheese and served on a buttered brioche roll! Yummy! Service is professional and always with a smile and love for the food. Owners are usually there to make sure your experience is perfect.

Fabulous brunch spot for the town. Really small place so hard to get a reservation, you can make a brunch reservation for a party of 6 or larger. Many organic/vegan/healthy/all natural choices. I love that they serve breakfast until 3pm. I did find a hair in my pancakes but I wasnt going to cause a fuss over it. Hair happens. Great drink selection/coffees/salads/omlettes/sandwiches. The Tuna melt was fabulous, it didnt even taste like fish it was so fresh.

We came here for Sunday brunch. It was busy but we found the place to sit outside. I like the idea of having dishes made of local, fresh produce. But to be honest the quality of the dishes is just ok, it’s not perfect, not even good, it’s just ok. The service wasn’t good as well. Our server kept forgetting to bring us high chair for the baby, coffee, dish for my older daughter etc. We’re not coming back for sure. There are definitely better places in the area to have Sunday brunch or so.

Horrific service. There was no «wait to be seated» sign when we entered the café so we sat down at the breakfast bar. We were passed and looked at by at least three servers that made no attempt to acknowledge us verbally or take our drink order. Eventually the owner came over and asked if we wanted a menu, we said yes and in a joking manner told him we were happy that he was acknowledging us. He gave us water. And then we continued to sit there and not have our order taken. Finally, we decided to leave. My friend told the owner that she was disappointed in the service, he argued with her and didn’t apologize. We went around the corner to Rosie and that place was wonderful! Do yourself a favor, skip this place and go there.

Great food, excellent coffee. Very busy and a small place, but cozy and a great atmosphere. The place was packed, as soon as a table emptied it was filled again. All ages were there — families and older couples. Service was fast, food was fresh. Highly recommend

Tried this place for the first time and absolutely loved it! It’s farm-to-table/locally sourced organic/non-GMO ingredients are as fresh and delicious as it gets. I’m gluten-free and was able to easily find food to eat here. The prices are great especially considering the quality of food you get, and the restaurant is this adorable hole in the wall — very clean and service is fast but you don’t feel rushed to leave. Five stars and two thumbs up for serving such great quality foods! We will be repeat patrons for sure!!!

The owners Sandy and Angela like to describe how they choose the best ingredients on earth to insure your meal is perfect, and it always is. Been back two dozen times. Baldanza’s is my all time favorite spot.

Have been here multiple times for lunch & dinner and it has never disappointed. They also have a nice feature of a small corkage fee for wine @ dinner. The crab cake sandwich for lunch is one of the best crab cakes I’ve had and competes with Maryland. Very fresh!

It’s been 45 minutes since we ordered two eggs and a burger. We’ve been sitting on the street for about an hour and now I’m cold and starving. Upd: Don’t see how to add a comment to your comment, Roger, so I add an update. At first it wasn’t cold, it was okey to sit outside, but after 45 minutes sitting without food, drinking already cold beverages and basically starving… People usually get cold in a situation like that ;-)

Adorable place. Came here on a Sunday for brunch and even though they were very busy, the woman at the front behind the counter was friendly and very nice. I wasn’t expecting that at all! The place is a little cramped for the amount of business they’re doing(good for them!), but the food is worth it. Would love to come back here to try their dinner menu. A nice outdoor seating area, as well.

Superb breakfast. Excellent omelettes, & pancakes. Everything is made with the finest quality ingredients, all organic. It’s a great menu, and they serve the breakfast menu all day. This is now my wife & I’s #1 favorite breakfast place, our go to spot every weekend. We highly recommend the Tuscan toast with your eggs. It’s real crusty and delicious. Great coffee, great local farm veggies, roasted tomatoes are amazing. We love the place… and good prices too.

Amazing food, fresh and organic just barely begins to describe your dining experience at Baldanza! The owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating, we truly cannot wait to return. A lovely spot for locals to dine and a great getaway worth the travel for those out of town.

What a find! So good I almost don’t want to share, … Had a fabulous lunch: beet salad w/grilled shrimp. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the dressing was light. Yum! Also has the fresh lemonade; tangy not too tart or too sweet. Service was very good; friendly. Looking forward to going back.

Went with a few friends for a Sunday brunch, and I was really glad we made the trip down. Baldanza Café is Right off of Main Street, but tucked back and with a cute patio. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Mimosas were delicious, as were the caffeinated«virgin» drinks, with a whole assortment of coffee shop beverages. 3 of us had the Tuscan eggs Benedict, which was divine. Served on freshly toasted bread with olive oil, nitrite-free fresh and thick cut bacon. It was light on the hollandaise but any more would ruin what is a perfectly balanced dish. The other two had brioche French toast, served with real maple syrup. We topped everything off with fresh desserts including mango sorbet, hazelnut gelato, crème brûlée and a mixed berry crumble. All impeccable and a good serving size. The total price wasn’t cheap, but very generous considering the quality, freshness and the vast quantity of champagne consumed. Highly recommended.

Here for dinner again. The food quality is outstanding with great modern combination of flavors. I had the portobello and goat cheese bruschetta. OUTSTANDING ! Hints of citrus and roasted red pepper. My spouse had the grass feed burger with braised short rib meat in the burger. Such and interesting texture and flavor combination. If you are a burger lover, give this a try. As usual the staff were friendly and efficient. The owner always greets us and remembers us. Always high quality farm to table food. You need to try this place once and you will be a regular like us.

Went here today for a business lunch, my dining partner is a regular, and suggested the specials. It was(is?) a snowy cold, cold day, so they had Chili on the special board. Choice of meat or meatless, with or without Cheese. I got full meat, a gorgeous rough ground steak and Chevre, which turned out to be mature and a lovely compliment to the dish. Probably the best Chili, I’ve ever had, and I used to be a judge in Chili cookoff competitions in Napa Valley! Had a LOVELY Tiramisu and wonderfully smokey Espresso, met the owners and generally had a great lunch. Only reason I didnt give it a «5» was that I haven’t done dinner there yet. Great lunch, though, it was a full house and everybody seemed very, VERY happy. Try the Peach Iced Tea, really dry and tasty! Will be going back to see about that last star!
