AWESOME HUGE bacon cheeseburgers & fries, reasonably priced. Nachos were a little soggy, but tasty. Jimmy, our waiter, was excellent, very attentive.
Neighborhood place, people coming in saying hi to other people already sitting at the bar. I like that kind of place.
Maybe I’m getting old, but only problem I had was the corny music that was playing, not sure if it was a juke box or whatever, but it was MUCH too loud for such a small place. Trying to catch up, talk about old times to an old friend sitting right next to me was almost impossible, we had to yell at each other. Felt like I was back at the discos, last time I heard music that loud in a restaurant. «I’ve got a brand new pair of roller-​skates, you got a brand new key» will be reverberating in my head for a few hours now.
But overall, a great place for a burger, easy street parking, off the beaten path from the main drag Hylan Blvd. down in ND Beach which was devastated by Sandy. Glad this place made it back. Next time I’m up from FL, will try you again, gotta try the steak!

The BEST BACON CHEESEBURGER!!! The apps are great, prices are great and so is the service! Bar is awesome, Mike is a sweetheart, nicest bar tender ever! Wonderful neighborhood bar, glad I’m close by

God how I wish I could enjoy the happy hour beers!!! Can they make happy hour cocktails? PLEASE?!
Came back here tonight and had a pretty good time with coworkers again. I do like the place a lot. How can you go wrong with a Long Island Iced Tea and nachos, my only request is that they use real cheese on the nachos, and maybe some guacamole?
It seems like I will be returning!!!

Here at the moment with my boyfriend and I have to say it’s packed and service is still amazing!!!
My boyfriend bought a house down the block and was so happy to find out there was a bAr down the block!!! Was even more amazed when I had the BBQ wrap to find it was the most amazing wrap I’ve ever had ! No joke.
Def check this place out I’m telling you and I wouldn’t lie!!! I love griffs !!!

The best burgers on SI! Huge, flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The steaks are enormous and so good! I usually can’t finish either & take half home. The prices are super cheap, considering how much you get. Check the daily specials, there’s great stuff there, especially the shrimp bisque.
The staff is great, the crowd is fun, and the owner Griff is usually around. He’s a great guy, and his bar reflects that.

Amazing place, great food, people and music. I highly reccomend going if you have the chance.

Just eat the ribeye steak. Look no further. This is the place for reasonable priced steak

My co-​workers and I went after work and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The waitress was very friendly! Their were TV’s everywhere so in case you are in a bad date, you can just look up and watch one of the TV’s. My friends order wraps with these huge onion rings that were so good and tasty. Their wraps were huge and have to take them home because they couldn’t finish it. I have a Cesar salad because I wasn’t too hungry and it was good but too much cheese. I would definitely come back here!

Def go there for a casual beer and a snack. But for dinner no thanks. Burgers r good but too greasy… steaks overpriced and good at best. best again for a few beers and apps def a great place to go I’m def recommend for a night out.

One of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. The apps are great too, draft beer selection could be better, but they do have a decent bottled selection. Good service too

Excellent steak! You walk in and it looks like a regular bar with a dining area. Then you take a bite of steak and WOW!
Everything is good here. One of the best!

Delicious french onion soup, crispy tasty buffalo chicken wings, AMAZING rib eye made perfectly. Topped off with refreshing Blue Moon — Griff bought the 2^nd round –very cool. I’d call that a great Saturday afternoon. Def check it out!

Best neighborhood bar around, in the best possible way. Friendly service, good food, good beer selection, jukebox, pool table, buy backs, and a back yard. Awesome spot!
