I had two dealings with this store in the past 2 weeks, and wanted to warn others about their customer service… Overall, they will not listen to customers and will not perform services when asked. First, after calling to see if this were possible, I brought in my broken camera for an estimate. The man at the counter would not listen to what happened or what was wrong… instead, he interrupted me mid-sentence, picked it up, and shook it vigorously(a BIG no-no with a loose element in the camera). He sent it back to the company that made it, with no description as to the damage, and insisted on a cash-only shipping payment. I could have done this myself for less money. Furthermore, he would not provide an estimate of the damage cost, as he indicated he could do over the phone. Second, I needed a new battery for my replacement camera. I called once to ask if the shop had this type of battery in stock. Again, the employee would not listen to the brand or type, and interjected«Yeah yeah yeah, we got that.» My boyfriend called again before we left for the store, as we were on our way to the airport, and got the same answer. When we arrived at the shop, they immediately told us they did not have the battery we needed in stock. With no more time left, we couldn’t get one before our trip. Save yourself some time and money — do direct repair with Canon or Nikon or go to Radio Shack. Chances are they’ll direct you there anyway.
