So I went there again and it was better the second time. I avoided the greasy sandwiches and got a 4.5 star French onion soup(chef’s got a thing for oil) with a house salad. It’s clean bar/restaurant and is quiet during lunch. The people are just so darn friendly here.

We got there on a Sunday one hour before closing. The waitress was pretty abrupt to us and another customers who arrived at the same time. Do not know why they would advertise they are open and not be willing to serve us.

This place has it all, burgers, fish, home style comfort food, charbroiled porkchops… anything you could want. There is a large wrap around bar with plenty of seating, surrounded by pub style tables. They also have an additional dining room for a more intimate dining experience. The food is excellent, the house burgers are thick and juicy, you can’t go wrong. Charbroiled porkchops were excellent, did I mention the Red Snapper, again, excellent. The service was outstanding, our server, Meghan is truly a professional with a personality that can match anyone’s wit. She doesn’t miss a thing, actually, I think she knows what you want before you do! I can’t wait to back!

Had a nice family meal here, it was very cozy(not a lot of floor space, but didn’t feel pushed against). There was some confusion between who was bringing us drinks/food, so we had multiple people bringing replacement drinks, limes, extra plates which made me feel for the staff who looked like they had to be everywhere at once. I ordered the fried chicken. It was on the border of greasy, not juicy, but it was a great breading. Ordered two pieces of pie for the table and they were quite large, for 5 people, the chocolate cake was gone and the coconut had only a small bit left.

We had a birthday party for an 8 year old little girl. Yeah I know. But she picked the place. We had terrific service, great food and drinks. They were kind enough to let us bring our own designer(yeah I know) birthday cake. Could not have had a nicer time. All of the employees were very attentive and helpful. Did I mention that the parents and grand parents had great drinks?

Five of us went here after seeing great reviews on Unilocal, and it didn’t steer us wrong! Flavorful, fresh food– everyone loved their meals. I had the square one market sandwich and will definitely be back again for that! Pricing is more than reasonable and we had great service.

This place gets a solid 10 ! First of all we had a reservation at 6:30 on a Saturday for 10 people, which grew to 24 people, not a problem and they were very busy, with the crowds from Peddler’s Village. Our waitress was GREAT, she had a real edge to her style, I thought I was in Jersey. She took all of our orders, food and drink. EVERYTHING was perfect !! Everyone enjoyed what they ordered, I had the grilled chicken and it was one of the best I’ve had, in terms of flavor and build. It wasn’t sloppy or a thick piece of breast meat thrown into a bun. This was The Square One Market Sandwich, $ 12 well worth the price. Others had burgers, corned beef, the pork chops OMG. Thank you to the staff for completing our trip to Peddler’s Village, you were the Cherry on Top !! I will be back.

I happened upon this place solely by good fortune. Had a couple hours to kill and I was hungry and I must say I chose very well! Jay was my bartender/server and she was very pleasant and friendly. She offered me the daily special soup, salad, and sandwich, explaining each one in detail. She hooked me on the sandwich, which was thinly sliced skirt steak with grilled mushrooms, onions, and peppers, plus provolone cheese and chipotle mayonnaise on a ciabatta bun, alongside homemade potato chips, the likes of which I’ve never had! Plus, I got to enjoy some Yuengling lager on draft, which I cannot get in Kansas City where I live. Looks like they have a great happy hour from 4 – 6 pm, all beer and house wine is ½ off and liquor is $ 3 off. I’d definitely be back if I lived in the area!

Where the locals hang out. The service is great and friendly, extensive menu that surpasses your usual pub, and comfortable accommodations.

We didn’t expect much from any place that calls itself a pub. This self-designation to us usually implies an emphasis on alcohol and the menu is usually a varied assortment of easy to cook staples and reheated frozen food. Being in a large strip mall reinforces the stereotype. Not this place! Everything on the menu is made from scratch and is delicious. The food is even attractively plated. The bread is baked on premises. Servers are friendly but not obnoxious and the noise level is reasonable. Sunday and Wednesday there is live music in the dining room, with even a few couples dancing. Décor is typical modern pub décor, not trendy or chic. Prices are reasonable and great value for the quality of the food. Any restaurant on Main Street in New Hope could serve this food at double the price and be packed with customers.

Went there last night. Had a bad experience with the bartender. He was nasty I paid for my drink and walked out. I didn’t leave him a tip and I never do that. Not sure if he works every night but if I go there again and he’s behind the bar I will just go elsewhere. Its a shame because I like the food and they have a great happy hour. But this bartender just ruined it for me. We went up the road to another bar and ate.

We went on a Friday night, and I was REALLY happy to see the place completely packed. Our server was lovely, but service was a bit slow … however, I am chalking that up to the place being mobbed. I thought my entrée was average, and simply think I should have ordered what I saw at other tables(the sandwiches, wraps, and salads look great). We were in the quieter dining room, which is lovely if you don’t want the loud bar room — which we did not. So the room was fine. But sometimes the loud bar room is just what you want — it was hoppin’ and friendly, so we will try that another time. I will definitely go again and give it another try. I am happy that they have created a success in that spot and hope it continues to be successful.

Stopped in here after a long day on the slopes. Their happy hour three course price fix menu for $ 15 was what drew me in. The entrees for the the three course meal consisted mostly of chicken; there were some pasta, seafood, and one meat option.(Pork chops). Having a hankering for some meat, I went with the square one signature burger. Substituting pepper jack cheese for the blue cheese; the burger with the pubs special chipotle sauce were very tasty. The service was on par with other restaurants. Very friendly hostess and waiter.

Been waiting for over a year for this place to open and it took me almost as long to get there, but I am so glad I did. Met a friend for lunch here the week before Christmas. Frazzled, busy and happy… you know how it is. The bar was lively but there was also a dedicated casual Dining room for the ladies who lunch crowd(that’s me) and was I happy to sink into a comfy booth and look over a lunch menu of classic and quite classy pub grub. I had the roast beef dip sandwich(with horseradish sauce, of course) and there was no problem substituting a very generous fresh green salad for the french fries. I passed on the home made desserts, but had a cup of coffee. The coffee was great, so I bet the desserts are too. Next time :-) Vikki, the hostess could not have been friendlier or more helpful, and the wait staff was terrific too. It was a rainy day outside, but the cozy atmosphere and warm comfort food recharged my Holiday batteries big-time. I’ll definitely be back, and not just for lunch.

Go for the Food, Stay for the Staff! The food is good(though I’m medically-gluten free so there’s a lot I can’t have) but Megan and Vickie – and, honestly, the lunch crowd at the bar – is what will keep you coming back. Hard Cider at the bar(Gluten Free!) and plugs(emergency charging!) and free wifi! Heck, I could sit here and write and drink and eat… ALLDAYLONG! Now you know where to find me. Strongbow Cider on draft would make it perfect. (plus, loving the music mix today.) Bar is VERYLOUD when full. Pleasant hum at lunch. There is another family-friendly /quieter room to the left, so don’t let noise be a choice factor. Call if you’re bringing a group of 6 or more and see what they say. Normally no reservations.
