te great pizza. We’re big big fans of Umberto’s…my brother showed us this hidden gem. Amazing crust and even more with the sauces. Sicilian is a must try. High quality ingredients and authentic awesome tastes!

Food here is okay, regular stuff. However, the cleanliness, prices, and attitudes I receive from the employees(Orlando in particular) give this place 1 star. I’m giving 2 stars because the food is alright. 2/5, would not recommend.

This is our local favorite. We order take out most of the time; pizza, calamari, chicken wings, different parmigiana dishes. All good and sometimes eat in. That’s when I really like it, but its just too easy to take out.

Ordered takeout, mozzarella sticks and a large margherita pizza. The mozzarella sticks were a complete rip-off and they tasted bland. The cheese inside was not warm. The pizza was very very salty. I had to throw out half, we just couldn’t eat it. It did not taste fresh at all. That’s it for me, will not be ordering here again.

Ive only had take out from Angoletto’s. I’ve had a few different experiences and dishes with this place. I ordered the Abbruzzese panini-this has grilled chicken, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, fresh mozerella, and balsamic vinaigrette. The combination was perfect! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Another time we ordered a Grandma pie. While it was tasty and crunchy, the pie arrived extremely cold. The temperature really ruined the pie. This would not stop me from ordering from here again though.

This place has a special place. Many moons ago I used to work here. And it’s nice to know that when I come in there’s a lot of familiar faces. I have definitely expanded on their pizza menus in the past few years. I love getting the grandma pie well done. The end slices are always the best super crispy thin and with fresh ingredients.

This pizzeria is amazing. Krysten n Alicia r the best phone girls ever. They always get my order right and are so friendly. They are the reason I always order from here. Those girls are dope.

Good local spot for some slices. Decent selection from which to choose. Parking can be a little tight from to time but there’s enough traffic in and out that you should get a spot if you circle around.

I love Angolettos. This is where I usually order from. Their sicilian pizza is great and so are all of their salads. Delivery time is reasonable and so are the prices

This place food is horrible. I just ordered $ 37.00 of take out plus tip the guy to come face to face with un appealing food that was under cooked and over cooked. Everything was gross, from the pasta to the no taste chicken cutlets to the salad and even the burned garlic knots. It was so bad that even my house guest could not stomach it. We ate some of it because we were very hungry. When I called the manager he was very rude and unprofessional. In all my years of living in new hyde park this is the worst Italian food I’ve eaten. I will never go back and give these people my business.

I have been here several times for pizza which is ok. I had the chicken francese the last time and the chicken was so hard i couldn’t get my fork in it. I thought maybe it was just a different chef so tried it again a few mths later as I think the francese sauce is delicious. The chicken was even harder this time like it was frozen and then re heated and they charged me $ 16.50. I wont be coming back here the pizza is ok but if the food is not fresh i wont waste my money and they should be embarrased even giving that to a customer.

Went there on a Saturday night. First time going to this restaurant but have passed by it so many times. Didn’t know how big the portions were so I ordered a little to much. I placed the order of 1 Chicken and Rice soup and the Entrée of Sausage and Broccoli Rabe that came with a side of Spaghetti. When I went there to pick it up the guy gave it to me resting in a box could not believe how much was there. When I got home and dug in I will say food was great but could not finish it because of ordering too much. So in closing if you want to try a new Italian Restaurant because your not happy with the one you go to now, try giving this place and shot and see what you think.

My family ordered a Grandma pizza, baked ziti, eggplant parm, and several salads. Everything was delicious! The salad was«spicy» if that makes sense — the dressing is so flavorful! Even the bread that accompanied our food was fresh, crusty on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside. I didn’t eat the eggplant parm but my husband said it was excellent. The baked ziti was incredible! We actually discussed why it was so good, and we couldn’t put our fingers on it — the ziti were perfectly cooked, the sauce was SOYUMMY!!!, and the combination of cheese was great(and there was a lot of cheese). The pizza had a crisp crust — I had a corner which was awesome. We will definitely order from Angoletto Café again!

Pizza sauce is too salty for my taste. The size of the pizza is smaller compared to the other pizza joints in the neighborhood.

We went here November 1st during the blackout post-hurricane. The small house salad and house red wine were really good, the garlic knots were yummy and freshly baked, and my chicken parm with linguini was soooo good! My husband ordered grilled chicken with a ton of broccoli rabe and he really liked his dinner too. We ordered a side of meatballs for our toddler’s dinner and it was two good-sized meatballs in sauce. She loved it and kept asking for more, but she couldn’t finish both. A very nice dinner! We eat Angolettos take-out a few times a month and whether it’s a pizza, pinwheels, or pasta, we always like it. It’s definitely worth a visit!

I go here for one thing. They make a brocolli rabe and grilled chicken sandwich, that is in my Top Ten Sandwiches I’ve ever had. Pizza is good, but on Long Island 75% of the pizza is good, their Grandma and Sicilian pizza is a cut above, hence their relationship with Umberto’s. Great for take out, or if you feel like dining in, they’ve got nice dining room in the back.

Perhaps ordered the wrong thing here and let me say — their sauce and cheese pizza topping were quite delicious! It was the crust on the Grandma and regular slice that was absolutely terrible — thick but too-terribly crispy, too greasy, tasted of oil… bad. If they can redo their crust entirely and add more of that good sauce and cheese on top it would be good!

We’ve been to this local pizzeria /restaurant a number of times. Went on Monday so my wife could get one of her favorite pasta dishes for her birthday. We didn’t realize, but on Monday they have a special that any chicken dish on the menu is discounted and includes a salad and dessert. Bonus! The service was prompt, friendly and helpful. My wife’s pasta was just what she expected and the chicken dishes were all very good. This is a solid restaurant with their regular menu, the special offer made it a bargain. FYI, this restaurant is owned by Umberto’s so they have the same great Sicilian pizza without the crowds(although Angolettos can get busy).

Some of the best pizzas in the neighborhood! The pizzas are always perfectly baked, slightly crispy from bottom the way I like it. I usually get the buffallo chicken or sausage peppers n onions, but I think you cannot go wrong with any of them.

Pizza place /restaurant. Angoletto’s has been sitting on the corner of New Hyde Park road and Hillside Ave for a long time. The pizza is always fresh and hot and very good overall. They are owned by the same group that owns Umberto’s in New Hyde Park so you know the pizza is good. There are tables in the front half for more«informal» seating — grab a slice and down it with a soda and be back on your way, or they also have a dining room in back that can also be used for private functions. They have a full menu as well as the pizzas but in my opinion the prices are a bit steep. Parking is available in the front in a teensy tiny lot.
