If you have a design in mind & go to this bakery expecting the cake to look like it then FORGETIT! This is not the place. The owner said he doesn’t work with fondant cakes because they are so dirty. Ok fine we settled for fresh cream cakes but see the pictures of what we asked for what we got so you will understand!

Super warm and friendly staff who always greet you with smiles! Decent pricing for everything and a really cute place overall. My favorites from there are the Cannoli cake and the Napoleon cake for birthdays and our guests compliment the cakes all the time :).

Hands down, a true traditional Italian bakery that has watched its contemporaries fade away. From their cookies to croissants, and all the pies, creams and coffees in between, Marzullo will not let you down. Topnotch ingredients, and a super staff, too– hats off!

Their cannoli cake is excellent and a bargain at $ 20 – for real ingredients not supermarket/bargain cakes. As an Italian, who grew up eating authentic Italian desserts, this bakery is the real deal. Their cassatine(crescent shaped dough filled with cannoli cream is just as good as my mother-in-law’s). As far as the person who complained that the cannoli cream is too sweet – it’s a pastry – it’s supposed to be sweet – and it’s not overly sweet.

The bakery is really cute inside. The cannolis are THE best cannolis you’ll ever eat. The cream is amazing. I could literally just eat a tub with a spoon.

Born in NY… moved away but come back often. In need of a cannoli and found this spot. Amazing and helpful staff. Fresh authentic cannolis. Everything we ate was so absolutely fabulous! Most stuff is by the #. Def come back when visiting my grandmother in NYP

Their cannoli cream may be authentically made from sheep’s milk ricotta imported from Italy but it is overly sweet!

Well, I tried this bakery due to good reviews but sorry, I had better. I’m also extremely picky with my desserts. Their cookies are good but the ones from the Buttercooky are way better. I also tried ines but that was greasy for me and the cannoli cream inside was just ok. Again, I had better ones from others. I may give another chance if I happen to be in the area but I won’t be driving there just to visit the bakery.

Great location, lots of parking, delicious coffee, cookies, sweets. Good place to meetup. Lots of famous people on the walls, inspiring artwork paired with gourmet coffee and baked goodies.

I usually avoid rainbow cookies because they can be so bad. But my friend brought me to Marzullo because her Italian husband vouches for their rainbow cookies, and they were delicious! I liked the raspberry ones. All the other cookies I picked up, especially the pignoli, were also quite popular.

I went to a Bridal show a few years ago and the cake was the best ever. I am a fairly decent baker and I hunted down where that cake came from and it was Marzullo’s Bakery. I have since purchased that cake for many people and it has always been a very big hit with no left overs. Kudos to Marzullo Bakery and staff for make the best Napoleon Cake ever. Thank you. Keep up the great work!!!

What can I say?! Everything in his place looks like it just came out of the oven and perfectly scrumptiously decorated with love. I want one(or more) of everything. The rainbow cannoli cake is to die for. I want to make up holidays just so I can buy cakes from here to celebrate! And the staff… the staff is lovely, warm and so generous. A free cookie for my kid, a free baguette«just because.» So down to earth and GOOD. A neighborhood staple that you want to stick around forever. Can you tell I love this place??? And ps those cakes are WELLPRICED for the quality. You’d get much less for more $$$ down the street. This is my neighborhood favorite hands down.

What do you get when you put La in a room full of tasty cakes and pastries, some of which contained Nutella — chaos and an empty wallet. The nutella cake is like crack and they have one of the best napoleon pastries in the area. Gary has had the canoli and he loves it. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. My only complaint — the cost — 20 bucks for a cake is a bit steep in my book, but so worth it. Oh yeah, and they don’t have plain vanilla cake with buttercream frosting –what’s up with that. Regardless, this place is awesome and so bad for anyone on a diet.

I was craving a cannoli and Italian cheesecake. I drove out of my way and was not disappointed. The cannoli shell was delightfully crispy and the cream was perfectly balanced sweetness. The Italian cheesecake was the perfect texture and on point in terms of flavor. Even the iced coffee was delish! The service could have been much quicker but the pastries made up for it!

Almost didn’t know this place existed even though I’ve passed nearby a few times — glad to have found it though. Has a nice selection of pastries, cakes and cookies.

Canoli Cake is out of this world! Walking into this bakery it smells phenominal just in the parking lot alone! Very clean and nice inside. Very attemped to see how the lines will be during the holidays to pick up some goodies. Definately not a spot to miss!

4.5 stars. I stopped here the Friday before Christmas for some cookies to bring places as gifts. They had some really nice platters of cookies and bags of cookies already wrapped. I opted for two boxes. The cookies were so super fresh and delicious. I got a nice assortment(about 1 lb) for $ 12 each box. I was so happy with the cookies that we went back Christmas to pick up a dessert. We got a chocolate mousse cake and it was AMAZING. It was the best dessert there and most of it went(on a table with lots of other options). I’ll definitely be getting this cake again!

Pink nutella cookie. you will be in my dreams. Seriously. That cookie was freakin delicious. So good. There’s a picture of it up. I will come back here just for that. Overall though, I live in Brooklyn so I see a lot of Italian bakeries. I have tried a lot of Italian bakeries. This is definatly in the top notch of them. They have delicious and fresh goods… Especially the pink nutella cookies(though I’m sure the other colors are just as good.)

If someone told me to close my eyes and tell me where is your favorite bakery where the smells remind you of your childhood? I’d have to say Marzullos Bakery and I didn’t grow up in New Hyde Park! I used to work about a mile away and come here for coffee. Then it turned into coffee and a biscotti. Then it turned into bringing home pounds of italian cookies home on weekends. If I’m driving upstate or into NYC, I’ll always swing by for a pound of cookies. And they are out of this world, I’m not finding a bakery like this where I live in Eastern Long Island or NYC… Simply put, the best bakery for Italian cookies, biscotti and breads
