Omega Diner

Basically a regular here.
We’ve been coming to Omega Diner for years now and it’s basically the best you can get when it comes to diner, if you’re looking for a diner in the area this is surely the place to go. Service is pretty good at Omega, the manager always greets and seats us having known us for a while now.
Service is pretty good, nothing noteworthy but nothing negative either.
The food is basically the best a diner can get. I order the Chicken Parmigiana or Chicken Penne Pasta every time and they never cease to impress. I really recommend these two dishes. The food always comes hot and if any chance they got our order wrong they conveniently provide us with what we were expecting.
Tbh I don’t what the other Unilocalers went through at this location, but my experience throughout the years has been very positive.

Hands down the most disappointing meal I have ever eaten. Nothing was worth going to this establishment — not even the service (which was lack luster, at best). Bad, overpriced food in an area where there are way better places to choose from.
Save yourself the money… the food at McDonald’s is way more worth it.

Nothing special, just your average diner. Food is pretty bland, and a lot of the orders don’t come with fries… which is weird for a diner. And if you want a side order of fries, it’s more expensive than it should be. If you need a late-​night bite, I guess you could stop here, but over the years their quality has really gone down. It’s overpriced for what you’re getting. The owner is friendly, but the rest of the staff is not.

Forget about this place. Try anywhere else. Manager/​greeter acted like he rather be someplace else… my booth seat had old duct tape on it… service was ok… the food, you get the feeling it was fresh a few hours ago… ancient scratched plastic cups… I knew that my first time eating here was going to be my last, and the person I was with agreed… this place gave me the creeps… long past its heyday…

Never fails. The food is typically good but nothing noteworthy. The reason why I gave only 2 stars is because of the poor service.
I have been coming here for way too long. Without fail no matter how busy or empty the wait staff takes your order in a timely fashion but NEVER comes back to check on you.
There are so many other choices near by and I am going to go there instead

Went there yesterday and the service is horrible. The waiter was sub par, didnt know what he was talking about. Plus when I got my salad there was a huge piece of hair in iy. I called the waiter and cancelled my order. Never going there again. Horrible place to eat.

I just recently moved into the area and decided to try a local diner, WORST mistake I could have made. Waiting in line ready to pay for my food, the woman at the counter completely skipped me and took a woman who came out of no where, I was okay with that because she had a family with her. The counter woman socialized with the woman and her family and was very friendly, when it came down to my turn, she was nasty in asking for my receipt and threw my credit card back at me. Apparently I did not meet her standards of the people who should be going into the diner, I’m a college graduate working a good salaried job, just because I look of Hispanic decent does not give you the right to judge me or my mother. STAY AWAY, not worth the struggle or the attitude, the food was average but the service was HORRID.

Been coming here for years, mostly for breakfast, sometimes for lunch or dinner. The food is great and the service is very good especially Jimmy. He is fast and friendly.

Super delicious food here. The Eggs Benedict Florentine are a good choice!
Staff is friendly and the place is clean!

Warning to all patrons. Do not go to this diner. There are plenty of other diners.
Avoid this one.
I ordered their burger and it came out burnt.
I don’t expect much from diners to begin with but this place is just pit bottom on my list of diners.

This diner is terrible. Do not go here. We showed up and there was one other booth and a few people at the counter. Of course, it still took a good 10 – 15 minutes before anyone took our order.
Prices are ridiculously expensive. Were we suddenly beamed into Manhattan? $ 6 for a side of onion rings? Yeah, ok.
We got chicken fingers ($ 9) and a big texan ($ 15!!). The tenders were straight out of the freezer and you could tell they had been in there a while. Battered in a terrible corn meal, they weren’t even using a good company for their frozen food. 5 measly little tenders and a miniature Kraft packet of honey mustard. Nine dollars and you give us little Kraft packets?
The big texan was not on garlic bread as stated on the menu. It was just a toasted deli roll. The sandwich was incredibly mediocre and not even remotely worth $ 15. The single onion ring that came with the sandwich was DISGUSTING. It wasn’t a fried onion. It was this weird, gross onion meal on the inside. Like eating a horrible zeppole with chunks of onion. Served nice and cold of course.
The last gripe was when you get to the counter to pay, they have signs everywhere saying that you aren’t allowed to add your tip when paying with a credit/​debit card. So, cash only tips? Yeah ok. I don’t even think that’s legal. We wrote in our tip on the receipt anyways since a) we didn’t have any cash and b) I have never experienced this «requirement» and did not believe that there was an actual valid reason as to why we can’t do that.
Avoid.

Can never go wrong with omega diner. I always go here with my friend after a 13 hr night shift and always leave feeling satisfied. Staff is always friendly and great if you are going with a big group. Price is reasonable and lots of parking spaces. Definitely one of my favorite diners.

I have a milk allergy and thus I brought my own almond milk beverage into the diner. When we first walked in the door, the manager had to be called 3 times to seat us and the party behind us. Fifteen minutes after being seated, the manager comes over to the table and rudely states «You cannot bring outside beverages, it’s too late now but you can’t do that.» I explained that I had an allergy which the diner could not accommodate for, hence the reason for the beverage. He dismissed what I was saying and walked away. Why not tell us before seating us? The beverage was clearly in my hands.
ALSO, THIS ALL OCCURRED ON MOTHERS DAY!
The abrasive and disrespectful tone of the manager towards customers, especially on a holiday is unacceptable.

This is La H. and mine’s go-​to-​spot for breakfast whenever I visit her in her neck of the woods. Typical diner fare, tiny parking lot, and curt waiters. Service is fast and they allow you to linger w/​your coffee (free refills!) after your meal. Gets crowded fast during the weekends around 11 am so plan accordingly.

Awesome diner in NHP. I love their French onion soup and burgers (delicious and super fresh). Carlos is the best waiter! It’s always a pleasure coming here :)

Super low prices but holy bad diner food. Wow. I mean really, they could cook better than this. Good egg cream though!

I came here twice during my visit to NY. First time was when I was picked up from the airport after a red-​eye flight. Second was a week later with a group of 7 other people.
I had the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs the first visit and it tasted pretty good. I couldn’t tell if the corned beef was straight from a can or if it was homemade. Overall I was pretty satisfied with what I had ordered but not with the price. I couldn’t finish the toast that came with it so I guess I had enough to eat. Service was a little slow even though there were only three occupied booths.
During my second visit I wasn’t very hungry and felt very cheap so I ordered two eggs. It came with potatoes and toast. Food was alright but nothing memorable. I’m starting to think this place would serve great hangover food.
I don’t think I was asked what size cup I wanted during my first visit. Forgetting that I was no longer in the land of unlimited refills, I ordered a small thinking it was at least a 12 oz glass or something. I’ve never had to savor a cup of orange juice before. I was very surprised to find that a small orange juice was the size of a double shot glass. I know it’s not fresh-​squeezed so I totally felt ripped off. I’ll have tap water next time if I ever come back here.

I’m always seated right away. Cool & casual ambience & the food is always on point! The food comes out fast & they give a really decent amount of food. I always get the Grilled Chicken Deluxe Sandwich with Fries & a Diet Coke with Lemon.
This place always has people in it. It’s crowded but not to the point where you’re waiting to be seated. This is my favorite diner to go to.

So happy to be back in the neighborhood so we can enjoy Omega again.
We’ve been going here for a long time, for breakfast lunch and dinner. Everything is always good. I used to come here with my friends to gossip and BS over a plate of cheese fries and shakes… now I sound super old
But the main reason I love it here… the service. Its always top notch!
