Shake Shack

The food is a bit expensive, but the service was great. One of the workers was serving my dish, and he spilled two pieces of fries. He was kind enough to give me a second order of fries! When i was getting condiments, my friend asked me to get napkins. A nearby worker cleaning up slid the box of napkins over to me. Besides the wonderful service, the food is definitely worth some value.

No lines, excellent burgers and I had this crazy soft custard in a cup which they called chocolate mud-​pie something or other which was very enjoyable. The flavor sounded disgusting but it was light and subtle. Plus the manager Paige treated me like I was in a four star restaurant. She does an amazing job there.

Great burgers and shakes. Very quick service! A really clean and convenient location! The manager Robert is the best! He walks around ensuring the place is super clean and that all tables are wiped down. He offers each customer individualized attention and always inquires about the food. He’s very friendly and you can see his passion for pleasing customers. This is by far the best location I’ve been to and the service is excellent!!!

This is the best shake shack. Even if the line is long the Manager Rob keeps it moving. I’ve seen him do everything from bus tables to expedite. The workers are awesome. One even asked my friend if she needed a refill on her water.

So me and a female friend of mine stopped in to get a Milkshake because Smash Burger ran out of ice cream when I ordered her vanilla shake I ordered some fries, so when my fires came out smh soo dry and old like they came from Rikers I ate a couple, after the horrible fries I decided to get a burger, a cheese burger with bacon tomatoes and ketchup wow it was wonderful cooked well but all credit goes to the bun very soft. I enjoyed the ambiance they showed the NBA finals and also some Ninja show. Overall it was a smooth experience I’ll be back. Ps: the milkshake was creamy «that’s what she said» no really tho

Just went to shake shack deciding that their customer service was so good they deserved another shot.
I had a much better experience then my first time there. My wife and I arrived at 6:35 and saw no line. We ordered and had our food 11 mins later which is ridiculously good. We got our food to go but there were a few open tables. If the restaurant was a little more crowded the seating issue I encountered my first visit would have been relevant again. Either way, it seemed as though the reason there was such an issue the first time I went because shake shack was new. Now that the newness has worn off the turnover seems to be fast enough that seating won’t be a big issue.
As for the food, the cheddar bacon burger was ok, definitely overlooked but the bacon was delicious.
The hot dog was excellent. The chicken sandwich was ok and the fries were ok. The best tip I used is something I got off Unilocal,I got my cheese sauce on the side. That kept the fries from getting soggy.
Overall a much better experience but if I’m being honest I prefer five guys burgers and fries based on taste when comparing the two.

Having experienced the location in Westbury (always crowded, slow lines, staff who look like they hate their jobs), this location in the Lake Success shopping center was refreshing. People constantly coming in and out but the lines moved quick, staff were friendly and there was available seating!
Many of the customers work in the many buildings across the street and I noticed many people took their food to go. && this location is clean.
We had the pleasure of meeting the general manager, Robert who had come over to check in on us (&& everyone around us). The second time he approached us was when he noticed we ordered more food to go. He made us a blueberry shake which was delicious and offered us a free shake card for the next time! Really friendly guy who has been with Shake Shack for a while now and clearly knows what he is doing when it comes to customer service and feed back. He listened to me rant about Westbury for a minute and really seemed to absorb the criticism. I also noticed he walked around often cleaning the tables!
We will definitely be returning! How can you not after an awesome experience today.

Went here for a nice lunch with a friend and was greeted by friendly staff. Service was quick and efficient. The general manager Robert was so nice to stop by and ask us about our meal. He also threw in a free blueberry milkshake (which was very yum btw)! What a nice surprise!
I’ve been here twice since it’s been open and it’s never too crowded like the one in Garden City.
Try the chicken shack sandwich!

Located in the small strip mall on Union Turnpike. Although a small location, the food and quality still does not suffer. Parking lot can be very hectic and frustrating at times, that’s why I just park further and walk it a little bit.
Two lines, one for drinks, one for food.
Shack Burgers, fries and shakes are pretty much great. The condiment station is very clean and staff refills the ketchup very often. I wish the ketchup dispenser was air pressure operated like the one on Long Island, I hate pumping ketchup out sometimes.
Staff are wonderfully helpful and nice. You will see a manager or staffer walking around the tables asking customers if everything is okay.
There can be a wait for tables but generally people finishing up their meal know to just let other’s sit down when they are done.

After seeing many pictures on instagram of the shack stack, I couldn’t take it anymore and headed to the closest shake shack. The photos didn’t lie. This burger was juicy and cheesy (it could have been more «melty») and the fried mushroom added a little crunch. It was so good that I told my friend on the phone that she should head to the shake shack near her in Brooklyn and order one. We hung up the phone and not much later I received a photo of her burger! She said that her cheese was oozing out of her burger. This location is great easy parking and staff has their game together… very good experience.

Chicken sandwhich was delish! Juicy and crispy! Burgers never disappoint get the smokeshack if you like bacon, cheese and peppers! Service was fast, friendly and the restaurant was clean!
The best part was no crazy lines like the city! Yay!

These burgers are truly the best. Bun is great and the patty has just the right amount of fat and meat. What really seals the deal is their chicken burger and desserts. The chicken burger is so juicy and of course, perfect. Their shakes and other desserts also pair nicely with the burgers.
The service is great here too. They forgot one order of fries and gave us a free shake and are always going around asking if things are alright.
Overall, really good burger place!

What you get here is very simple. A delicious burger using high quality ingredients and prepared with high standards. It is consistent and always as good as before. There are others that try to equal it, but Shake Shack just stands so far a top from the others. Shakes & fries are just as good too. Who can hate on a crinkle cut fry?
It is a welcome addition to the Lake Success plaza. The restaurant itself is clean and has a few TV’s. Its smaller than the Westbury/​Garden City location so it might be difficult to secure a table. The line does move quick and at times they have a separate register for just shakes. I would love to see some outdoor seating but I’m not sure if there is enough room.
If you are in the mood for a frozen treat, try their Malt Whitman concrete. It is excellent! Plus there is an added bonus to each time you buy one too… They donate 5% of sales from the Malt Whitman concrete to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, which is something worth the extra calories.

So yummy ! I loveeeee the cheese fries omg. The burgers were also delish, I didn’t like the shack sauce too much. Also the burger seems like it’s cooked medium rare, there was some pinkness in my burger which I didn’t like seeing, I prefer well done. Next time I will let them know I want mine well done. I find shake shack a bit expensive, but it’s worth it lol .
The location of this shake shack was within a shopping center. The shake shack itself is about medium sized. The wait for your order is relatively quick, and the staff are very pleasant people. This shake shack also has a bathroom. The most interesting thing I saw here is that they sell dog treats for your dogs !

Having a Shack Attack? Head over to New Hyde Park. The Best thing to happen to this shopping mall is Shake Shack. I got tired of driving to Westbury to get my shack attack on. I was tired of the Micheal Jackson Tour lines to order a meal.
This location raises the bar! Lots of staff and space to accommodate the neighborhood. Nestled at the end of the shopping center on Union Turnpike meets New Hyde Park Rd is Shake Shack. I was greeted by a friendly cashier who took my order in less than a minute. NO LINE — - NO LINE — – No Linnnnnne: Drake 2 Chainz melody: My Chocolate Banana Shake of the week was smoothly stirred. Not clumpy, not thicker than a snickers. Delish! My Mushroom burger was everything! Fresh out the fryer oooozing with cheddar. My fries, crisp and perfectly salted.
This here is a winner. I’LL BE BACK.

Shake Shack was once a treat on a rare occasion, but now that locations have arrived in LI & Queens, I get to enjoy it more often! I believe this was the second location on LI and while it is smaller than the location in Westbury, it fits the area.
The quality of the food is just as good as you can get in the city. The burgers are delicious, one of my favorites is the ShackMeister burger which includes crispy onions (not listed on the menu, but you can order it). The newest edition to the menu is the Chick’n Shack. A hearty piece of juicy fried chicken served on the same roll as the burgers and topped with lettuce, pickles and an herb mayo. It is so so good. The chicken was fried to perfection and the toppings worked so well with it. A splash of the Louisiana hot sauce that is there brought it over the top. Its a great way to get your fried chicken fix. Quick tip, the Chick’n Shack takes longer than a burger order, but it’s worth the wait.
While Shack Shack continuing their domination throughout the area is an exciting event, I really need to pace myself.

Shake Shack just keeps expanding with the NHP location which is great for those that work at LIJ and nearby medical offices. It’s in a busy strip mall and serves the same menu as other Shake Shack locations. I can only come once a month at the most because I feel the grease and swetness of their shakes affecting my body after eating here but it’s definitely worth checking out and great to have a closer location that the ones I usually haunt in the city.
Just make sure when you order the hamburger to ask for toppings because it will just come bare. A lot of people made that mistake over the one hour I was sitting there and the cashier seemed a bit frustrated although it says for the hamburger you need to tell the cashier what toppings you want.

Had the pleasure of visiting this establishment on 10/​07/​2015. I will definitely be coming back here!!! I like this place much better than Smashburger nearby. The burgers here are juicy and full of flavor. Here is a rundown of what me and my family ordered:

I personally think this is on the pricey side. Even though the burgers were absolutely delicious, they were on the small side. My husband thought their regular size would suffice. I suggest if you want a decent sized burger do not go with the regular size go bigger (double burger), which of course there is an option for.
The cheese fries were out of this world heavenly! The strawberry milkshake was great and full of flavor. Spacious, comfy seating and love that they serve beer here. This is definitely a burger joint to try!

The burger I devoured today is one for the record books. It was a new burger with Caramelized onions and bacon & it created a party in my tummy. The cheese fries were invited as well. Ugh so worth the $ 10+ idc what anyone says.
The burger was cooked to perfection. Every bite literally melted in my mouth. And before my stomach caught up to my brain I was beyond tempted to get back on that never-​ending line to order another one.
This location is brand new and I had to swing by to give it a try. They definitely are bringing the burger competition to New Hyde Park & are dethroning Smashburger lol. The staff was pleasant and they even had a sweet older woman promptly cleaning up the tables as soon as people got up. She even asked me if I enjoyed my food. So cute I could pinch her cheeks.
Only thing I dislike about Shake Shake is the semi-​long wait for my delicious food. Oh yea, try to stay away from their lemonades. I keep forgetting but yea they’re just not good lol
