Good service, clean place and delicious burger! I ordered the classic smashburger. The cashier LESLY was very friendly and patient. I will definitely go back!

Wow they have so many burger options. I loved the black bean burger. It was delicious and had avocado and black beans with a nice flavor to it. Their smash fries were da bomb!!! I seriously prefer this place to Shake shack because shake shack is overrated and has small portions with expensive prices. I was pleasantly surprised with smashburger and it is my new burger place!

Typical Burger spot. It was way to pack for my comfort but I am not surprised because the food was great. The one thing I did not like was the«buffalo fries» I thought it was actual buffalo fries but it was just seasonal salt sprinkled onto the fries. If I knew that before hand I would just had regular fries. Its a little pricey but overall I would go again and try something else on the menu.

Worst burger I’ve ever had. The burger is so greasy. Chili cheese fries are garbage. The service was horrible. Food made me sick, I think I got food poisoned. Never going back. If you want a quality burger go to Bobby’s Burger Palace or even Shake Shack. I don’t know how people can eat at this place. Horrible.

I’m a big fan of Smashburger! With that said this location I’ve had a better experience here than at other locations. I find that locations that aren’t in the inner city have a better customer experience than locations within Manhattan. So instead of getting a burger this time — i had the cobb salad which was awesome! Add a piece of chicken and the salad is perfect. It’s just enough, not too much or too little for a guy like me who likes to eat. I added some fries b/c why not, but realized i don’t really like Smashburger fries. They are very thin, but nicely crispy and tasty but overall just not my style. I suggest you come and get food here it’s not bad — shake shack is not too far away but i think their burgers are a bit small and you end up paying the same price.

Smash is my go to place when I am busy with work and can’t spare a one hour lunch but still need good food quickly to curb my post 1pm hunger. New Yorker Chicken/Beef both are one of a kind amazing and one can never go wrong with that. I have tried their milkshakes on more than one occasions and can say they are great as well. Only thing kinda not 100% percent are their veggie bean burgers which I think could be a lot better.

Huge fan! I have yet to have a bad burger at any of their locations and this one is no exception. I highly recommend getting a shake with your meal. Choose your favorite and you’ll be glad you did. Gluten free options available. Even the hot dog was delicious.

I have eaten some sketchy veggie burgers at some sketchy place before, but this is by far the worst burger I’ve ever had. Also, how do you mess up cheese fries?!?

Not the best burger(too greasy) and not the worst(definitely not dry). There are a variety of burger choices and the prices are very reasonable(in comparison to other burger joints). The restaurant is very modern-like with a large eating area. It’s A-OK if you’re in the mood for burgers when the nearest alternative is McDonald’s.

Today they lost a star an couple of stars. Service with a smile at the register was non-existent. Dimitrius acted as if we were ruining his day by showing up. His attitude was very robotic. No smiles, no thank you… nothing Now to the orders which were all delivered separately about 5 minutes apart. When the last burger finally arrived I asked the manager why all the meals were delivered separately. The response was… the kitchen messed up, three different tickets… blah blah. No apology for the waiting, just blame others. Not sure how it could have been three different tickets when they were all purchased on the same order. So I call BS on that excuse. The fries were all on the side of being cold. The burgers this time were overly greasy. The best looking and tasting meal(per the eater) was the avocado crunchy smash chicken. Not sure where the service has gone, but it’s definitely not as good as on previous visits. Shake Shack is opening soon 1 block away, so I am sure this will take more customer from this location. The nail in the coffin for this place would be a Chik-fil-A opening nearby(please let that happen one day). I think I’m done with here.

Smashhhh ! Ugh literally my favorite burger place ever in life lol. I’ve never been disappointed any of the times I’ve come. My favorite burger is the BBQ Bacon Cheddar burger: applewood-smoked bacon, American cheese, haystack onions, BBQ sauce on an egg bun. Yummmyyyyy. & I always get an order of smash fries. Their signature fries which are tossed with rosemary, olive oil and garlic. Greasy but a good greasy lol. If you’re counting calories then this isn’t the place to be because I’m telling you right now they add up fast lol. However if you are into healthier options they do make smash chicken sandwiches(grilled or crispy). Also, they make a variety of salads that you can add chicken, burger or black bean burger to for $ 2 extra on top of the 6 $ salads. You can also«smash and dash» aka place your order online @ & just skip the line and pick it up. So convenient when I order with my co workers.

I same here for the first time, and it was just alright. I got the crispy chicken New Yorker — a crispy chicken cutlet with a ton of caramelized onions as well as lettuce and a tomato(I think? Mostly I remember the onions because there were so many of them). The chicken lived up it its name and was very crispy and juicy. As good as it was, it was surprisingly extremely greasy. I used several napkins by the end of it! I loved their thin fries — both the plain and the smashed. The smashed fries were oily, but that was expected from their burger. I also tried a bit of my friend’s black bean burger. The burger was floppy and disproportionate to the rest of the burger, but it was alright. Kinda tasted like the beans at Taco Bell. Minus a star because I felt judged by the cashier when I said that I was just getting the chicken burger. Excuse me?

My brother ordered from here to bring home for us. The burger was very moist but it was extremely sloppy to eat. Everything kept sliding off the bun. The smash fries were tasty but the oil was oozing out of the container. The peanut butter flavor milk shake was good. I wasn’t a big fan of the orea milk shake. I thought the burger was ok. My favorite will always be In and Out burger because I like their animal sauce. Shake shake compared to this can sometimes be dry and other times be good. Bobby flay’s burger compared to this is smaller but has more flavor.

Any burger joint that makes an effort to include vegetarian options in their menu already scores big points with me but Smashbuger knocks it out of the park by creating some seriously delectable burgers for the non-meat eater. Though it’s certainly not the newest burger eatery in the neighborhood, Smashburger is a serious contender in the quickly burgeoning group of restaurants that seek to serve diners with familiar fast food fare, only with high quality(even artisanal) ingredients and non-frozen patties. Orders are placed in the front at the register and then you’re given a numbered placard so that after you sit down, servers can come find you with your food once it’s ready. It’s a system that hasn’t failed once during the several visits I’ve made. Best of all, there’s no tipping or clean up required! Each time I’ve gone, I’ve seriously considered straying from my usual order but I always end up getting the same thing: I’m a big fan of the spicy black bean burger. An enormous, well-seared(even crispy, which I love for textural purposes) vegetarian patty sits on a chipotle bun, with pepper jack cheese, guacamole, slices of jalapeño, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a smoky chipotle mayo sauce. As I’ve found with most black bean burgers, the patty was a bit loose and started to fall apart between bites but the flavors were outstanding. Another vegetarian option that I’d like to avail myself(once I kick this obsession with the spicy burger) is the Avocado Ranch Black Bean Burger, which includes slices of avocado, pepper jack cheese, and ranch dressing, along with the usual veggie fix-ins). Let it also be known that the build-your-own burger option allows you to customize everything from the bun to everything in between — the patty, sauces, toppings, and premium add-ins. Burgers will generally run you more than $ 6, which isn’t cheap but the taste and quality is definitely an up-check from your run-of-the-mill fast food restaurant. The fries were also flavorful, though I’ve never loved the thinner fry variety because it tastes less like a potato and more like crunchy potato skins. Skinnier than McDonald’s but not quite shoestring, I thought these were a little pricey at $ 3 for the regular size, especially considering the amount that you’re given. I’ve been here at all times of the week and all hours, and it seems like there’s never a dead hour. Word has certainly gotten out about Smashburger and it’s typical to see several folks in line by the ordering counter, but it moves quickly and there’s always plenty of seating to be found. Highly recommend!

This is like a Shake Shack wanna-be. My burger was extremely greasy and FLAT! It was so thin I didn’t even think I was eating a burger. I also ordered fried pickles and the grease was dripping off of my fingers. I used about 5 napkins just to wipe off grease. The fries were pretty much the only thing I enjoyed. The Iced Tea tasted like water even after I put lemon and sugar in it. 2 burgers, fries, pickles and 2 drinks cost about $ 24… cheap but I guess you get what you pay for. I wanted to try this place because it looked great and had a variety of burgers. The atmosphere here is very nice and clean but they have to do something about the food. I was not impressed at all and there is no way I am going back

Had the truffle portobello burger and it was delicious Half the price of a truffle burger at Umami, but definitely not half the flavor. However, I did find the umami truffle burger to be larger, have a stronger truffle taste, and have better burger construction The Rosemary fries were wiry, as they were cut extremely thin, which is good in that every fry you eat will be full of flavor, but if you’re like me and are used to having your fries regular cut or larger, the fries may not be as enjoyable as they could be Very positive experience overall, would come back, and encourage everyone to give this place a try. Can’t go wrong with the New Yorker burger either

I’m so glad I found this burger place! It looked so clean, inviting, and organized. The moment I saw portobello mushroom on the menu, I was all in. I ordered the truffle portobello mushroom burger with cheese, some chicken burger, and a Oreo shake. The customer service was good. The guy brought over all our food when it was ready and made sure to ask if we needed anything else… My mushroom Swiss burger was amazing! I would definitely pick this burger over five guys ANYDAY! It was a bit salty, so many next time I’ll ask for less salt… And it was so satisfying. The Oreo shake was pretty good also! I am so excited to try this place! Thank god I looked at Google map and explored other food options because I was at the mall a block away and the food options there made me quite sad.

I always enjoy eating at Smashburger… I was first introduced to Smashburger at a Brooklyn Unilocal Event(thanks Peter). This was my first time eating at this location. It is located in a complex, with other places to eat and shop, so there is plenty of parking. The complex appears to be well kept, with plenty of lighting. Like the other Smashburger locations I’ve visited, this one seemed well kept and very clean. The employees were clearing and cleaning the tables after every customer. The employees were very polite and knowledgeable. After placing your order they give you a number and bring your food to your table. I ordered the chicken avocado club with Smashfries, everything was very fresh and tasty. They lost a star for skimping on the avocados… my favorite part of the sandwich. The sandwiches are around $ 7 and the sides around $ 2… Overall, I would go back and recommend this location to others… Happy Unilocaling :)

3.5 I enjoyed lunch at Smashburger, it has a few pluses and a few minuses. The burgers are the star as they should be. The burger patties themselves have great flavor and I loved the crispness they get from the cooking process. The egg rolls are the perfect vehicle for your burger and enhance the flavor. Eating Smashburger you need to be ready for some grease. The burgers are greasy, on a burger not a totally bad thing. On the haystack onions, not a good thing. The onions were beyond greasy, the bottom of the container was swimming in oil. The fries on the other hand were great, crispy and thin. almost too thin, but good nonetheless. I wold definitely visit Smashburger again for a burger and fries, but would avoid the haystack onions.

My family’s standby local burger joint, especially when we’re out with our grade school age son. While they may not have«gourmet» burgers that«foodies» will rave about, they have several solid burger or chicken sandwich options to choose from, or you can create your own. Fair prices and always freshly prepared food that’s brought out fairly quickly. Shakes are also good and the side dishes are also pretty good. The restaurant is also pretty clean and well lit. Plenty of tables which can be combined and configured to suit your group. Diverse staff and diners. Can’t go wrong dining here.
