Good pizza. Nice change of pace when you’re sick of other chain restaurant pizza.

The best thin crust pizza outside of the City. A true Southside pizza joint. The Italian sausage pizza is the real deal.

Ordered a pizza deep dip style and«thin» crust. Maybe it’s because I live in the city where the best of the best pizza is at my disposal but Beggers leaves a lot to be desired. The thin crust isn’t really thin and is tough like cardboard. No flavor. The cheese slides right off every single piece I ate. The deep dish was good until you get to the crust. Now it’s just a thicker bland version of cardboard. I can’t speak for the rest of their menu which is pretty lengthy for a pizza joint. So maybe those items are better. Honestly next time I want pizza when I’m out side of the city I’ll just get Pizza Hut.

Love Beggars pizza! They have the best deep dish slices as well. The ingredients are laid on thick though, so sometimes we ask for light

Review based on lunchtime carry out. Being a well-known Pizza business, you should really think about having more pizzas available for carry out. I am sure Im not the only one who comes there at lunchtime, so telling me I have to wait 20 minutes for a slice is pretty ridiculous. I can go to a gas station 5 minutes from your restaurant and they have no problems keeping your pizza’s hot-n-ready.

I recently took my family out to this location eight in total. They accommodated us quite well and the service was decent. We got an appetizer and some salads. +Appetizer was the spinach and artichoke dip and had a good flavor with fresh baked chips –Portion was a bit small even for a smaller group and not vegetarian friendly. Salads were big enough that we were able to buy three and split them +Large garden salads at a fairish price, lots of toppings –Asked for some extra dressing got a large up charge for the tiny cup we got. We then ordered two family sized pizzas with differing toppings. +Large pizzas piled on thick –LARGE up charge for extra sauce. Drink options were plentiful. +Pitchers and wine specials –Pepsi products. Overall, the experience was a good one. My only advice would be to re-examine your extra sauce and dressing policies as other similar services don’t up sale these items.

Funny what you find when you are off in an area you know nothing about, your stomach and those of your car mates is grumbling and you need FOOD! Well such was the case on a recent Saturday when we found ourselves in New Lenox looking for a sandwich. We found this place in what looked like a closed mall but much to our surprise, there was Beggers down at the end. We started in the carryout area where a friend grabbed some pizza but then realized we had enough time to sit at the bar and enjoy a sandwich. Kevin was running the show behind the bar and quickly got us our drinks and food and was certainly pleasant and welcoming to this Chicago contingency even alerting us to the fact that there was a location of Beggers in the city(turns out it’s by Union Station). The turkey wrap I had was quite good as was my friend’s cod sandwich and chicken wrap. And the pizza? Also pretty darn good. The most shocking thing(clearly I’ve been eating in Chicago for far too long) that lunch for the two of us cost cost only $ 14. That’s a steal for the quality and quantity of food we had. Not fancy but functional. And if you want to catch a game, this is more of a sports bar than a pizza joint. Not sure when I’ll get back out this way, but if I do, a stop into Beggar’s will have to be worked into the itinerary!

Another excellent meal at Beggars Pizza! While not a fancy place it was clean for the most part except the wet floor which was nasty and sticky underneath out feet! I don’t know if someone spilled something or the just hosed down the floor but was gross! But when you get pizza this good you overlook the little things, right?! We had their stuffed spinach and sausage pizza today which was excellent as well! We also split their nachos and spinach dip served with garlic toast. The spinach dip could have been bigger than a tiny ramekin dish! But again was excellent! I thought was pretty small for the price. The nachos were excellent and huge! Their sauce on top of the pizza was excellent– to die for really! Glad we were in the area again and could come back to a Beggar’s Pizza!

Second best pizza around. Giordanos is still the best but they don’t deliver to my house. So second best is more frequently ordered! Sandwiches here are great too. We’ve eaten here on many occasions. Staff is always friendly but sometimes a little neglectful on checking tables/drinks/pre busing. That’s where they get the –1 star. I usually have to flag down someone to be noticed. I don’t drink alcohol here so I have no idea about the bar. Definitely family friendly, but also a nice place for a date. Just don’t expect too much attention from your server.

I ordered food to be delivered. My delivery was on time and the food was still nice and hot. I ordered 218inch pizzas, 1was half pepperoni and sausage and the other one was sausage pepperoni mushrooms onion peppers and black olives. We all loved both pizzas. They were loaded with nice sized sausage pieces and chuck full of toppings. Tons of yummy cheese. Very good.We also ordered appetizers and were disappointed. Not so good. Cheese sticks and mini tacos were not good. Cheesy tots were just o.k.I will order from Beggars pizza again without appetizers.

We have been ordering from the New Lenox location for years and the past two orders the pizza has not been the same, very bland tasting. The first time we thought it was just an off night but again this evening the pizza is tasteless. We called & the lady that answered said they have not changed their sauce apologized and that was it. Delivery was prompt. Will not be ordering pizza again from this location!

I came here with my boyfriend and his family to celebrate his niece’s birthday. It was pretty good, but not really worth the price. I like that they had lagunitas beers and pretzel sticks. The pizza was just not worth the money though. For the price you could of gotten a much larger and better tasting pizza at any other locally owned pizza places.

Never going back. We stopped dining in due to the poor service, especially in the bar area. We continued to order carry out, only because our choice of pizza places are very limited in this area. First of all the pizza is mediocre and over priced. They are limited with the amount of fresh ingredients, it’s either, canned, frozen or jarred, i. e no fresh mushrooms or garlic. They always underestimate the time your pizza will be ready for pick up, if they tell you 45 minutes, make it an hour, otherwise you will be sitting there waiting. Tonight was the last straw, I ordered a large deep dish spinach and broccoli(29 bucks). I get there an hour later after I was told 50 minutes, the girl goes in the back to get my order, comes back empty handed, I’m guessing my order is not ready yet. Minutes later the manager comes out to tell me my pizza cracked and fell apart. Ok, well I’m not going to wait another hour for them to make me another pizza so I just asked for my money back. You would think the manager would have offered me something for my inconvenience, money off my next order, a free appetizer, something… nope, nothing! Poor customer relations. Not a big loss that I I won’t be going back, just wish we had better options for pizza here.

Pizza Buffet: every pizza including deep dish has raw dough. TIny salad bar had containers only filled 20% so scratching the bottom to get anything out. Worst pizza buffet EVER… Even if cost was free AVOID

We happened to stumble upon this place when we pulled off the highway to get gas. Even though we came in 10 min before they opened the bar tender still seated us & served us. Food was good as well as the service!

Went here over the summer before a round of golf with some friends. We got our pizza by the slice and I have to say it was pretty good. The service was average.

Really nice and friendly atmosphere with fabulous service and great cleanliness. It was my first Beggars experience so the service and atmosphere made me happy and the pizza made me happier. They have a very unique blend of cheese and the sauce has a nice zesty taste. I look forward to partaking in the Beggars experience again in the future.

I had stopped in this place for drinks and appetizers years ago and recently attended a retirement party here. They have several rooms for small parties and it appears it can be opened up for a larger gathering. We had pizza, beer, wine and cake and everything was really good. The pizza does have extra cheese(which I love). The staff was excellent from beginning to end. I wouldn’t hesitate to host a party here. The bar area looked nice too.

The pizza here is pretty good, and they do dump a lot of toppings on. If you’re looking for a pizza that will leave you full, and not from the cheese alone, then this is probably what you’re after. I don’t order from here much mainly due to the price. The coupons they send out don’t really help much either.
