Tried for the first time because my regualr Pizza King was closed. I think this will continue to be my fall back pizza place, it wasn’t bad.

My husband and I LOVE this place. The pizza is always delicious, the staff is so helpful and the prices are incredibly fair. We would order even more often if only they delivered, but the drive to pick up is well worth it.

We had a great time and awesome meal! The prices are amazing! We went on a Wednesday night and had a 16″ pepperoni and sausage pizza, fried veggies, soup, bread and cheesecake for $ 29.00! Can’t beat it!

The spinach lasagna was so good, I made audible noises with each bite! I got it with the marinara sauce, which had wonderful flavor. Certainly was made with time and love! And, although the salad that comes with dinner was a simple lettuce and cucumber salad, they have really good croutons and quite possibly the BEST blue cheese dressing I’ve ever had. I’ve ordered pizza from here several times as take out, which I loved, but now having eaten their other food, I’m kicking myself in the pants for not having it earlier. Certainly better food than you’re going to find at a chain restaurant. Shop small!

Been hearing about this’s place for a while now. Had we not been keeping the eyes peeled, we would have missed it as it’s a very small place in the strip mall. It is very obviously a neighborhood place with regulars who eat their weekly. I have the homemade red sangria and it was delicious with fresh fruit in the glass. I had eggplant Parmesan and my husband had spaghetti and garlic in olive oil with Parmesan cheese. We were so pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. There is nothing special about the place except the food which was really really good. The spaghetti in garlic and olive oil wasn’t drenched in oil nor was it drenched and garlic, but a perfect balance with plenty of Parmesan cheese mixed in. The egg plant Parmesan was delicious, we both brought food home for the next day. If you’re in the neighborhood you want some really good pasta or exceptional cheesecake, and banter with the regulars as we did with«Chuck» you have to stop here. U2 will be pleasantly surprised this little hidden gem is in our neighborhood.

Bread good, salad good soup very good sandwiches pretty good, anything with red sauce on it horrible. No seasoning at all. Oregano, garlic and basil needed. It kind of tastes like purée with a bit of meat in it. I would go there for sandwiches though.

Friendly staff. Cool atmosphere. Really good garlic cheese bread but it didn’t come with sauce. It didn’t need it, I just thought dipping sauce was standard. Pan crust pizza was good. Lots of cheese, good crust, i would have preferred more sauce. Family friendly. An actual changing table in the restroom. Cozy, private booths and many tables for larger parties.

Love Love Love Paisanos! Can’t say enough about this place! We go there weekly. Shelly, Paulette, and the rest of the staff are all awesome! Very friendy staff. Love the atmosphere. The food is fabulous! Their specials are great, and the dinner specials including soup & salad. Paulette’s cheesecakes are the BEST! There’s usually not a wait(sometimes there will be on Fri or Sat), but if there is, its not long and its well worth it. Definitely our favorite spot! 5 stars all the way!

I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and service was good. The bread and salad served before the meal was bomb! But when the entrees came thats when the problems did toox I literally took 2 bites of my ravioli and I couldnt eat anymore of it, it was absolutely disgusting. My boyfriend had spaghetti and he couldn’t eat more than a handful of bites as well, we obviously tipped our waitress well because it wasnt her fault but we will not be going there again.

I walked in and immediately was transplanted into an Italian restaurant from my childhood. The décor may not have changed since it opened in 1978, but that’s part of the charm. The service was excellent — super friendly and accommodating. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which came with soup, salad, and bread. The food was solid. Not spectacular, but enjoyable. The serving sizes were large and I had plenty for the next meal, and the prices were nice and low. Overall, a nice, little hole in the wall Italian place. It’s not going to blow your mind but you’ll feel welcome and appreciated. 3 stars for the restaurant and a fourth for excellent service.

The best pizza, pasta and soups, hands down! Salads are fair. Good service, great food in an old building. Very sad when they quit serving canoli! It was out of this world.

Great little restaurant great prices and specials! Great cream of chicken soup! But if the elderly people ask for a fan above to be shut off, I would accommodate them!:):)

Not a bad place to eat. Small but quaint. Went there on Good Friday. Waitress was great. Food was ok. Stuffed shells were excellent but the pizza was just ok. I would try them again maybe with some meat on the pizza next time. No meat on Friday during Lent. Catholic rules.

I grew up in New Lenox and I have been going to Paisanos since the 70s. The food was great then and still is to this day. Excellent pizzas and ribs!

I was in the area for an event, and after reading some reviews we decided to stop here to eat. True to the other reviews, this was a hidden gem! It’s a small place, but that’s the way we like it. It reminded me a bit of the old Italian places I would go to back in NY where I grew up. The service was fantastic, the food was very good too, and it was a great overall value. Portions were a good size too. I had chicken parm with a side of pasta and a side salad for a very reasonable price. I liked that the chicken was fried or breaded, something I get a lot around here. Nice gravy(red sauce) with it too. My wife had the ribs, and they were very good too. If you like ribs that fall off the bone, you’ll like these ribs. Like others said, don’t let the outside fool you. This was a very nice place, we’ll keep this place in mind if we’re in the area again!

Great, I repeat, GREAT service. Waitresses were hustling the entire time. Very small place with simple, good Italian food. This isn’t fine dining so don’t expect it. But if you want straight forward good food with great service this definitely was it tonight. Awesome job and we will be returning.

This place is the hidden gem of New Lenox. Service: Always top of the line. The Wait: On weekdays there is never a wait but during peak weekend dinner hours it can be a half hour wait. Food: Hands down the go to Italian in the area. Favorites are literally everything on the menu. Ribs are superb. Overall: You probably drive past this place every day. It is wedged between the White Horse and a eye place. Check it out. This is a must stop place if you are ever in New Lenox and have a taste for some Italian.

Definetly worth checking out if you live in town. My family has a tradition of going to Pasiano’s at least once while all of the kids are in town. It is a pretty typical small town Italian family restaurant, but for a long time it was all we had in New Lenox. The entrees are all pretty good. As a kid, I remember always loving the lasagna and popcorn chicken. As I got older I was much more willing to more adult dishes. The ravioli and just regular pasta is definitely worth a try. My family, being the carbs-lovers that we are, were always huge fans of the complimentary bread and olive oil.

This restaurant is still the best restaurant in New Lenox and that is not up for debate. We are officially regulars at Paisanos and for good reason. When you go to pay for your bill at the podium, just look to your left and you will see a picture on the wall of my wife and I from the Ditka Sweater Vest Fest. Paisanos donated gift certificates for the charity that benefited Children’s Memorial Hospital and put our picture on the wall. The owner Shelly is so cool and friendly she makes Paisanos feel like home. Paulette is the master behind all the amazing deserts. Sangria is a welcome new edition to the drink menu. I love how the specials never change. Don’t change a thing Paisanos.

I grew up in New Lenox and have literally been going to this restaurant since I was 3. For the price you will go home stuffed and you couldn’t ask for better food or service! This is truly one of those places that the locals know about and keep packed night after night, which says a lot for the food, the service, and the experience. They are a full service Italian restaurant, located in a tiny strip mall in the heart of downtown New Lenox. They’ve been family owned forever, and the whole family is typically working(hosting, waiting tables, and cooking your food — a real group effort). They are wonderful and always make sure that your experience is amazing. The staff has all been there forever as well and they are all fantastic. Paisano’s is especially known for the pizza and the ribs, though I personally love their pasta selections — chicken parm and baked mostacholli are my two favorite dishes. There is just something about their meat sauce that makes it just about the most yummy thing on the planet! I typically order extra sauce on everything, including a side for dipping the bread in! They also have an amazing dessert selection, all hand-made by one of their waitresses Paulette. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious and the perfect compliment to the meal(if you have any room left…). They offer a homemade sangria as well now. Even though I no longer live down in the southern ‘burbs, I always make a point to stop at Paisano’s when I am down that way(and I will admit, I have made the two hour round trip drive more than once just to eat there). If you haven’t been here yet, you simply have to give them a try!
