I only ate there once for the breakfast buffet it was OK nothing special. But what do you expect for breakfast buffet from an Italian joint. I taken out pizza from here quite often. The pizza is great but the people that work The pick up counter there’s about three or four of them at one time I think they have two brain cells between all of them. Also they are very rude on top of being ignorant.

My girlfriend and her family all got food poisoning from the chicken here. And that’s all I need to know about this place. Proceed with caution…

Great little family Italian eatery. Split the chicken parmesan dinner and a small pepperoni pizza with my wife. The pasta noodles seemed store bought. Nothing special. Chicken was very good and cheesy. Thin crust pizza was excellent. Pepperoni had great flavor– get it! Crust was very very good. I highly recommend getting a thin crust pizza. And Tuesday’s are 30% off pizza night! Also had some minestrone soup, and the bottomless rolls were a nice touch. Other than that, everything seemed to be pretty normal /average. Hence the three star rating. GREATTHINCRUSTPIZZA.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because of the horrible waitress we had. The food however is always excellent, never disappoints. Very tasty authentic Italian, great portions and prices.

We enjoy this place for dine-in, carry out, and catering for the holidays! The food is good and moderately priced. Try the eggplant Parmesan sandwich, it’s great! Good place to take kids too. Great breakfast! Now the only reason I give this place 3 stars instead of the full 5 is the lady that works in the take-out area. Every single time we call for a pick-up order, she gives us attitude on the phone(EVERYTIME!) I also hear her being rude to customers over the phone when we come in to pick up the order. I seriously hope she doesn’t cross the line with us ever because that will be the end of us going there, which would be a shame because we really like it. I don’t know if she’s the manager or owner(yikes) I think her name was Cheryl or Carol? Lighten up lady!

Gotta say, super disappointed. Only reason for 2 stars was our waitress. Food was bad, frozen veggies in pasta dish, over sauced everything etc. Its a real shame, I really want an independent(non chain) restaurant I can support.

I am dropping my rating to a 3 for this as i have now been here several times since my last review and the food has been a bit mediocre. I will admit they are new items to me which i have not tried before. However I have also tried the fish here a couple of times and it is fresh fish and was very good. Overall a 3 is a fair rating overall due to lack of cocnsitancy on some of the items but over average on others like the fish.

So… once again, Unilocal finds it necessary to delete honesty.WOW. what was so wrong about me complaining about the girl at the front counter, who looked bored??! Maybe someone should train her in how to notice an overflowing garbage can.

Pretty nice spot. They have alot of choices on their menu and it can be a little overwhelming but too much is better than not enough. Portions are pretty generous so the average person will have a little something to snack on later. They have many selections for people who like pasta. The few times I have eaten in the service was good. Generally we order out at work and the do forget our soup on occasion but always bring us new cups and usually an extra cup or 2 to say sorry. Try the chicken meatball sandwich.

Pizza was okay, but lady answering the phone was a cranky bitch… We ordered it to go for pickup… It’s gonna be at least an hour she whined! We were driving home so we stopped in after about 40 minutes and it was ready but While we were there picking up our order, she bitched about every little thing going on. She told one caller that was ordering it would be at least an hour and a half for their pizza… hoping they would just say forget it! I felt bad for the young girl helper that was working with her, also working at the take out counter. I don’t know what her problem was as it didn’t seem all that busy to me, but I would suggest she quit this customer oriented job and get a job cleaning house or something where she doesn’t have to deal with the public!

Unfortunately, I moved from the Chicago area. I was sure to get a deep dish from Little Joe’s and freeze it before I left. They’re quality hasn’t changed since I used to go to the one on 63rd in the 80’s. Man, I’m gonna miss these pies!

The first Thursday of every month we are eating dinner. The food is great and never had a bad dish. The staff can be overwhelmed on a busy day but I’m not from Chicago. I believe waiting thirty second for ice tea isn’t the end of the world

Great tomato bread… Pizza is overall pretty tasty… Depending on the night of the week, it can take some time for carry out orders. Generally … We don’t dine in so review is based primarily on carry out orders and not service.

Stopped in after a wake across the street, the place smelled good and was crowded so we were optimistic. After 10 minutes of sitting at the table i approached the hostess and asked if we were going to get served. She looked annoyed and i realized she never told the waitress we were there… Ummm there was 5 of us. Long story short, the sever that finally waited on us got the order wrong, the cups were filthy with old food on them, the server brought out one dish at a time, she never introduced herself(an older lady with red hair) just kinda stood there and asked if we wanted anything to drink. After 10+ minutes we were kind of ready to order food. The pizza was bland, the service was atrocious and if this is what new lenox has to offer, i’ll stick with restaurants furthur north. No stars

I’ve passed this place for ten years when visiting family in New Lenox and never tried their pizza. This time, I went out of my way to get one to go. There were several other places we wanted to try but they didn’t start serving until 4:00 p.m., and we wanted a pizza for lunch. Just ordered a large sausage. Only complaint was that it had cooled significantly by the time I got back, but that is the pitfalls of carry-out. I was ready to sneak a piece before I even went into the place, with napkins ready in the car. But alas, the pie did not come in a box(surprise) but in a bag that was carefully stapled shut. Nuts! The thin crust, square cut, sauce, sausage and cheese all brought me back to my childhood years in Chicago. The balance of all the ingredients was spot on,(except it needed more of that great Italian sausage). Next time, we may eat in so it’s hot and fresh from the oven.

Update on my below review. My pizza bread sauce was cold tonight. And the lady at the front just told two older ladies that they can’t order pizza because they want to close. Is that good customer service to you? I love this place. I always get the chopped salad and it fills me up for the day or I split it in two for lunch the next day. Pizzas are yummy their chicken parm sandwich is great as well. Two for 1 pasta, what a deal! My salad was slightly warm today but that’s okay because it’s great all the time normally. Their house dressing is to die for. I wish I could buy it for home salads. Their bread could be a little more fresh at times but once again if that’s the worst of my problems there I’m okay with that. Toni is my absolute favorite waitress I get overly excited to have her every time!

Best thin crust pizza in new lenox I used to go to the Tinley one a lot and decided to give the new lenox one a try this week. Phenoms. Just as good as I remembered it You’ll notice any of the reviews that aren’t 4 – 5 star are people ordering stuff other than the pizza. Just keep it simple and get the thin crust. I attached a picture here of the pizza too. just look how good it looks
