We stopped in on our way back from Vermont having found the café on Unilocal. It was awesome! We called in our order when we were 15 minutes out and it was ready within 2 – 3 minutes of our arrival. The customers were locals, always a good sign and the staff was very friendly. Our wraps were delicious, we had the buffalo chicken, the Asian Thai chicken and also one of the best BLT’s I’ve ever had! The highlight of our meal was the tomato basil soup. hands down the best I have ever eaten. We are from Cape Cod so sadly we will only be back on our rides to and from Vermont but this will be our go to spot for lunch as it’s right off route 89. Now if I could get them to share their amazing soup recipe I’d be a very happy girl!

I love this café. It’s got lots of seating, friendly staff and the drinks are awesome. Didn’t have any of the food, but it looked delicious. Lots of parking too!

Came for a business meeting/coffee– middle way meeting point and all, website says they open at 7:30AM, Unilocal says 9AM, sign on door says 11AM. Fail, Hole in the Fence, fail. Other than that, I’m sure it’s quite lovely.

Wow, I pulled off the highway to get something eat and gas-up and couldn’t be more stoked on my dinner. I had the portobello wrap with chicken and it was extremely tasty! 5-stars!

The best sandwich I’ve ever had. Had the blue cheese chicken and apple with bacon and honey mustard on ciabatta panini. Omg. My daughter enjoyed the green apple honey ham panini and mom really liked her spicy thai wrap. Peaceful outdoor seating on a glorious Monday late afternoon. Prices are more than reasonable. Fresh iced coffee was the cherry on top. Am anxious to bring hubby here!

Update: We are taken our privious 2 stars down and replace with 5 stars. They are finally has fair– trade coffee in. With their coffee machine hard at work, their coffee is a work of art. Their coffee are light years ahead of other places around. If you are a serious coffee drinker, stop by and pick up a cup or two. Update: The owner has contacted us and explained their situation with the delivery. He is trying to get this situation fix as soon as possible. A nice little place. we have arrived 10 minutes before it opened and people were waiting to get in. They have very nice patio seating outside. As soon as they are opened, the lady pop out and said«no coffee for the whole week due to delivery mix up».

We were driving through New London & had to stop for a late lunch. The pizza & french fries were very good! I loved the fruit iced tea.

I wasn’t sure there was going to be a whole lot in this area-there’s not, but this place is a gem. The coffee was good. They had a lovely pay it forward promotion-so our coffee was paid for and you can pay for someone else’s . We ended up coming back later for dinner. We got a salad with prosuitto and cheese-(the honey salad dressing was amazing) and a panini. This place isn’t quick, but it’s totally worth the wait. I was excited to see that they had gluten free pizza.

One of the nicest places for a lunch in New London. And as well, they now have a rock-flavorful full breakfast starting at 0900. In addition, they have revamped their pizza menu, dough made on the premises and the ingredients are as fresh as one can get in a New England Winter. Their absolutely awesome fresh garden is on abeyance for the Winter but will return in all its glory in late Spring according to the manager. For this visit, we tried their Cubano sandwich, a delightful Cuban-infused panini with most of the ingredients of a real Cubano except the bread and the Cuban-style Pierna. For the side dish, the spicy Buffalo Chicken Soup lent a superb pairing. My spouse had the grilled cheese with a huge cone of French Fries. Hole in The Fence. Cozy. Warm. Inviting. Tasty.

OMG! It must’ve been one of those really off days for them. The counter lady apparently was stressed about something. It probably wasn’t about an overwhelming number of customers because the place was about half full. But, she was not rude. As usual, I ordered a thin crust pizza, sauce, light cheese, fresh tomatoes, olives and onions. It arrived hot and looking its usual beautiful and wonderfully aromatic. Yay! «Yay» turned to «ecch». The cheese was foamy!?? It was unlike any melted cheese I had ever seen and tasted. Picking up a slice was like trying to hold a wet paper napkin. Except for the outer edges, the crust… wasn’t. It was quickly blending with the foamy cheese to form something like a wet sludge better eaten with a spoon. After sitting there for a half hour, it was cold, but still foamy and soupy. This was the place that I had told my friend was the best pizza in the whole area, and of course she drove two hours round trip to meet me there for her first taste. Don’t you hate when that happens? Definitely very disappointing. I really hope it was a new chef, or experimental«cheese product», or some other anomaly. Yikes!

Seems to be the place for the college kids. Interesting menu, but everything we ordered had a ton of salt… the pizza, the wings, quesadilla and paninis. Unfortunately there are not many choices in New London.
