Sunday, 11:30AM. Quickie: + Drink and food quality * Service + Cleanliness * Turnaround And then??? Hudson Coffee Traders has pastry game as good as it’s coffee one. ********** Got my drank on: 1. Iced latte + Milk cut the bitter without subtracting the aromatic roast. Stuffed my face in: 1. Mixed berry scone + Fluffy bread, sweet berries.

I was quite surprised when I wandered here while waiting for the bus. The lady was fairly nice when I asked to purchase a vegetable wrap without the actual wrap and have chicken added. However, the item said it included squash and asparagus, but simple came with zucchinis, broccoli, and peppers which was quite disappointing. Their paleo biscuits were what made my day. They were small, but very delicious and filling. They’re definitely worth trying! I will be back to have them again!

Staff is always friendly and the coffee is always good. Treats are super tasty too. Cool location that is never packed and annoying during the day

One of the best scones of my life! Chocolate butterscotch deliciousness. I also got a pumpkin spice chai latte which was amazing. Not cheap but about average for lattes at a speciality coffee shop.

Without a doubt, the best coffee in town. Others have pretty much captured the selection of baked goods(thanks, Brian — the berry scones were terrific), and the fairly unassuming location adjacent to the bus station. But don’t overlook the tasty egg wraps! Stop in early for a double cappuccino, or whatever style strikes your fancy. You won’t be disappointed.

Every time I visit New Paltz, I look for the best coffee in town. While there are certainly other spots to find coffee or an espresso, I think these are the most obvious choices: 1) Lagusta’s Luscious 2) Hudson Coffee Traders 3) Mudd Puddle 4) Moxie Cup 5) Starbucks 6) Cafeteria If I lived in New Paltz, I would be in here all the time. Hudson Coffee Traders really impressed me for the fact that they have actual«paleo» items on their menu, which is virtually unheard of most places I’ve been. This is little more than a hole-in-the-wall, so you’re not going to come here to sit for hours with your laptop, but you could obtain a satisfying breakfast or lunch, as they do have two indoor tables. The staff was so nice that they made my daughter a grilled cheese sandwich, even though it is not on the menu. The location is right next to the bus station, so it’s an interesting transient vibe, with lots of people coming and going with their suitcases. Even though there is a parking lot, it seems mostly full with taxis for the tourists. We parked across the street. As far as coffee goes, they seem committed to quality. My macchiato tasted as it should. Their menu claims all coffees served are organic, another plus.

The best coffee in New Paltz. My daughter loves the chai latte! Great paleo options for snacks but my very favorite treat is the blue berry scone. Just the right amount of crunchy on the outside and melt in your mouth airy on the inside. Staff always friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee and its preparation.

Best scones anywhere and baked on site. The muffins are also great. Highly recommended!
