Came to see Stormbringer, so we made reservations. We were seated at a table just inside the door, next to the ATM. We asked to be moved but they said they were trying to accommodate everyone and they’d see what they could do. Another party seated near us was moved, however. Service was not very good; it took a long time for our appetizer to arrive, then our dinner arrived soon after. The food was bland. Loaded potato soup was watery. Chicken in the Caesar salad and the St. James sandwich was dry. Shepherds pie was fair. Our total bill for three people, including 2 beers and 2 well drinks was almost $ 80. Maybe food and service are better when it’s not a busy night, but I would not recommend eating dinner there when there’s a popular band.

The live music nights are great, always a fun time, the food specials are good value and good quality, the staff are always very nice and friendly, service is good, nice outside seating area, and a resident alligator can be viewed in the fenced pond next to the bar/restaurant, a nice local place and food and drink are great value.

Very good food and great service! Visiting from California and drove by looking for a good place to eat and get a few drinks, decided to stop in here and we were not disappointed. Clean establishment and I will say it again, great food! Next time we are back, we will be sure to return. Even got a tshirt to take back with us!

This was my first visit. I came to see The Bearded Brothers(they have great taste in entertainment). My party arrived before I did(4 others) and had already ordered. The waitress stopped by the table 4 times — 3 times to deliver the food and once to ask the MEN what they wanted. I was not acknowledged at all even though I tried to get the server’s attention. After literally waving my arms. She finally came over and I gave her my order. The food arrived in a timely manner. I ordered a salad and fish & chips. Overall it was very good. The fish was well prepared and not greasy. The fries were steak fries and hot & crispy. There was a side cup of mediocre coleslaw on the plate. My side salad came out with everything else. I would have liked to have had that first but oh well. It was fresh but rather boring. Iceberg. Chopped tomatoes. 2 big slices of cucumber. Croutons. I wasn’t a fan of the ranch dressing so I ate it plain. Not a big deal. Wasn’t their fault… just the brand they bought. Our server was terrible. She ignored the women at the table. After we were done eating, she took drink orders from the men. One of the other women and myself were ignored. If one of the men at the table hadn’t pointed out to the server that we wanted coffee and bottles if water, we never would have gotten served. It took almost 20 minutes to get my coffee. One of my table mates went up to the bar to complain and Voila’ the coffee arrived with an excuse that they made a fresh pot. Ok fine but it would have been nice to have been told that instead of being made to feel forgotten about. Based on entertainment and food I WILL go back. They are frequently a stop on benefit poker runs. I like that. However if I get the same server I will request another. I did tip her because that’s what I do but she didn’t get the 25−30% I usually leave. I used to wait tables myself so I «get it.»

From the crazy range of reviews we didn’t know what to expect. Seems people either love this place or they hate it. Count us with the former. Service was fast and friendly. Our party of 3 each had a different entrée and all three were very good. Fish sandwich was really really good. The only demerit is the waitress didn’t know how to pronounce Smithwicks which in understandable but for an Irish pub is unforgivable! Actually she was very nice and professional, but the Irish owner needs to teach her. And how about Kilkenny on-tap?

Where can I start, this place is a breath of fresh air in the sea of restaurants in the Tampa Bay area. First start from the back bones, owners Vince and Kelly. So down to earth and welcoming I didn’t even realize they were the ones in charge until I was told. Than the staff, I’ve been a few times and I’m already welcomed by name and usually a hug. Seemingly small to some, but to others means the world. The kitchen staff doesn’t fall short from customer service either. Happy to make you whatever your heart desires, on menu or not. They offer a special every day of the week and bring the best nights of live music right here at home. So from the prices to the heart felt staff, from the bottom of my heart I reccomend Fiddlers Green .of Trinity to family, friends, and everyone in between. –Mary

As my wise father woukd say I have been here twice… the first time and the last time. My wife and I came here based on the reviews here. I ordered the«Shamrocker and my wife the Irish Stew. Our food came and my sandwich was surrounded by a mound of 7 steak fries. No kidding 7 fries. My wife’s «Stew» was a bowl of salty gravy with a few carrots and bits of potato and one piece of meat. We don’t usually count food but it was so easy with the lack of it on our plates. We were dissappointed to say the least. The place was busy but for the life of me I don’t think it was for the food. *As a footnote I was contacted by the owner with apologies and the offer to come back and try his establishment again on him. It was a very nice gesture but I respectfully declined.

Awesome food, just randomly looked up irish eateries and went to this one. I was super pleased. Bangers and mash with the barley cheesecake at the end, amazing.

Checked out Fiddlers Green yesterday evening, food was okay and drinks were pretty pricey. However I definitely like the vibe and live music, so I would go back again.

Items on the menu were hit or miss, mostly miss inmho. Ordered cheese fries, almost no cheese. Chicken strips were of the freezer variety. Might be ok to stop for a drink but would not count on above average meal.

Have been here twice in the past month and will definitely be back. People that complain about a pub being a pub should definitely just stay home … if you’re looking for this place to be Chuck E. Cheese or a country club, Fiddler’s is probably not for you. The food has been tasty and they have a good bar selection. Good, friendly service and the bartender is a great server so definitely recommend sitting at the bar. The Guinness fries are a must if you like disco fries. I have had the St. James sandwich and the Father Michaels burger, both were really good.

Fabulous food, especially the Shephards Pie and the homemade mushroom soup. The fish and chips is amazing too! The food is prepared by professionals, not kids, and with amazing flair. NOMICROWAVEDFOODHERE! As a real Irish woman I can attest to the authenticity of their Irish dishes. The atmosphere is very Irish pub as the Irish music plays and with lace curtains on the windows it makes it feel like grandma’s house. Friendly wait staff and owners Kelly and Vince always make you feel like family. Great place to watch any sport event, on game days they always try to accommodate if they can. Large enough for your parties of family and/or friends.

This is your typical americanised Irish pub. Irish music playing in the background, a full bar with a pretty well rounded beer selection. The service was nice… actually a little too nice. The waiter was persistent in checking on us and even the manager(I think) was coming around a lot. It was a bit much between the two of them. They were both very friendly though. The fries(chips) with Guinness gravy and cheese were so good! We went on Wednesday and it was $ 4.95 burgers with a drink purchase. Cheap date! The burger was ok… nothing special but it was at least cooked right. I might come back here if I’m in the area.

Fun atmosphere, fitting ambience, great service, and delicious food. The chicken tenders are unexpectedly to-die-for, the wings rival-and surpass-all the«wing joints» in Orlando, and the authentic Irish dishes are on par. Guilty pleasures like the loaded potato wedges and bread pudding do not disappoint. Drinks are like a night out in Dublin. If you’re local and haven’t tried it, you’re doing Orlando wrong.

Tried somewhere new tonight. Came in early 5ish and the place was empty so we grabbed a hightop in the bar area. Bartender was nice. We ordered a Guinness and an Irish cream soda. Pretzel sticks for an appetizer. Drinks were good and so was the app. My wife ordered the fish & chips and I ordered the Shepherds Pie. Fish was good. Fresh. Pie was… Meh. It was way overrated. The vibe in the place is nice. I’ll go back and figure out something different to eat.

We really enjoyed this place. Between the three of us we had the bangers and mash, fish and chips, and corned beef and cabbage(and Guinness of course). Service was excellent and there was even some live music.

Excellent service, excellent food! I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. Husband had the Reuben which was made with real corned beef not deli meat. I had the honey mustard chicken which was really good as well. We will be back.

If this is «scratch-made Irish food», then I sure don’t want to know what they have been scratching. The food here is awful. First, this is NOT an Irish pub, which would have good pub food and be good for conversation. It is a noisy bar more fit for howling hillbillies who don’t have cable tv sports in their trailers. We had a hamburger in there, which was a step lower in quality than a Sonic Burger, at five times the price. Then, a few weeks later– it supposedly being an Irish pub, we tried the Irish Stew. Just pitiful, obviously a microwaved old frozen pre-prepared slop, watery, bland, with a few mushy vegetables and stringy chewy tasteless chunks of what may have at one time been meat. It was take-out, so we only found out how nasty it was when we got home. A drunkard friend of ours recommended their«Shepherd’s pie», so, even though we know better than to trust a drunkard, we tried it. That was the sorryest excuse for a Shepherd’s pie, ever. Again, an old leftover, bland and disgusting. An authentic Shepherd’s pie should have at least some lamb in it,(after all, what do Shepherd’s tend? Kangaroos?)– but now restaurants do generally make it with cheap hamburger. I think this place must be crumbling up the rejected hamburgers that are on the menu. Bland meat, just terrible. No gravy, no discernible peas or other vegetables, and on top a huge gob of dry, pasty flavorless mashed potatoes. The cook here is painfully clueless about recipes and preparation, and the management doesn’t care what kind of garbage they pass along to patrons. If you are hungry and in the area, pass this one by, go to the nearest supermarket, get a six-pack of beer and a hamburger patty freezer-burned tv dinner, and you will be much better off, and with a lot more money in your pocket. PLEASENOTE: To respond to Fiddler’s Green’s emotional response comment below, I stand corrected that their bad substandard hamburger is not technically five times the price of a cheap Sonic Burger. It’s been awhile since I’ve had junk food, and Sonic must have raised their prices. But a bad hamburger is worth nothing, so Fiddler’s Green’s hamburger actually turns out to be seven times a bad value. Fiddlers’ here is very touchy about my reporting my three horrible experiences there. I was not aware that Unilocal rules require reviews to be only warm and fuzzy and dishonest about bad experiences. I do not drink alcohol, so Fiddlers’ assumption that I do, and that could have affected my judgment, is quite wrong. From my three experiences there I think to stomach a Fiddlers’ meal, a person would really have to be in some impaired state of judgment. The pub is not like any real Irish pub I’ve been to, it was noisy and obnoxious the times I was there. Maybe that’s just a reflection of their local community. It is true that I give the lowest rating to about half the restaurants that I review here, really because poor value horrible experiences tend to stand out. A negative review IS actually constructive criticism, because if they are listening, it gives management an opportunity to see why their establishment is turning off customers. Also, the other half of the volume of my reviews are positive, with plenty of five-star excellent experiences reported. I’m glad that Fiddlers’ is happy to join the bad ones at the bottom of the heap, because if they are happy and content in their illusions then obviously that is all that matters to them. And by the way, Kelly, I gave Einstein’s, Panera and Maggiano’s two stars each, not one. Fiddlers is not up to be in their company.

The interior of this restaurant is lovely — inviting and dark. Tucked away hidden in a strip mall with many empty storefronts. Ordered the Shamrocker sandwich — blackened prime rib with swiss cheese on a hamburger bun served with au jus. The prime rib was very good and plentiful although a little salty for me. I’m always disappointed when a hearty sandwich shows up on a hamburger roll — I want that dense hoagie roll that can hold up a pile of meat, not a soggy somewhat sweet hamburger roll. Fries were great :) BF ordered the Royal Reuben which has real corned beef instead the deli meat variety. Was not impressed — small portion of meat, not enough of everything else(cheese, sauerkraut, dressing), and the bread was very greasy. For $ 11 it should have been better. Friend ordered the Shepherd Pie and it was a huge portion and proclaimed to be delicious. Great service from both our waitress and the bartender.
