Good wings ! They always get our take out right which is a plus! But for some reason they have the worse service like they purposely hire bad servers! The one in east lake has been there for as along as I can remember and they are awesome but for some reason the new one in trinity could use some help. But we do continue to order there boneless wings and fries

Finally trying the variety club tonight and so mad we haven’t eaten here before! I had the 49er of course since I am a faithful fan! It was delicious. They made my chicken just the way I wanted well done and crispy! Their secret sauce is amazing on fries! Wings were just right and their desserts are great. I love the atmosphere. It’s not to crowded and not too loud like BWW. We relaxed but were able to catch the game Our waitress was great, very friendly and always filling our drinks! They have flat screens everywhere and different sports playing! We will be back!

Great place for a couple drinks, some cheese fries and to watch the game! A little disappointed that it was a much older crowd than we expected.

Took my family here a couple of weeks ago and was not impressed. The hostess was rude and the seating was very uncomfortable. The food there is very bland. However, the waitress we had was great and very attentive. First and last visit…

My wife and I come here all the time as it’s pretty close to where we live and the food is always good. Though I try to try something new each time, I’m usually drawn to their excellent wings. I always order Cajun Hot, which they sometimes forget to put the cajun seasoning on it(they make the waitresses add this instead of the cooks, which I think is odd and lends itself to be forgotten). But it’s no big deal, as they correct the issue. Service can be a bit slow at times, but there’s rarely ever a wait like most restaurants. Usually you are seated pretty fast. The only busy times is during a game which is understandable.

This is a great place to hang out and watch football but that’s about it. Service was really, really slow. Food was okay. Nothing spectacular.

Decided to go see a game in the evening. Next time I’ll just stay home. The place is just not very welcoming. It was not busy — believe me I spent many years in the restaurant business. I have no problem with things taking a while when I can see that staff is hustling. But that was NOT the case here. Twice I had to get up to get either plates or utensils from the nearby station. We asked three times for our game to be put on the big screen — any screen. Then it came on and we had to ask for the sound from that game. «Oh, I’ll go ask» was the response after the third request. Finally got sound after half an inning. At this point I started looking around for a manager or someone that looked to be in charge, but saw no one. The food is certainly not worth the wait, the hassle and the inattentiveness. Don’t bother. They don’t care.

I’ve typically enjoyed coming for happy hours and food. This particular day– last Friday, a group of us sat at the bar and had great service! After our friends left, we joined another group of friends at a table. We had one drink together and cashed out. When we got the bill, the vodka drinks had been rang in at the happy hour price, but then the server rang in ice at 1.30 per drink. This was exremely odd and disturbing. We asked the waitress and she said it was a computer issue that happens and the manager knows but doesn’t do anything. I was more confused that she didn’t notice this issue each time she rang in the drink and ice on the big computer screen. Just to add, our friend was not drinking vodka on the rocks. It did have a mixer. Just in case anyone was thinking that was the case, I wanted to make sure I added that. I am adding the picture I took of the bill. I still enjoy this place, but I will really watch my bills in the future.

I would say this is a senior sports bar and my daughter and I felt out of place. There was no hostess it seemed like the waitress we had was the hostess, waitress, complaint person etc… We were seated however it took like ten minutes for the same person to take our drink order, and deliver our drinks. We ordered our food after a very long wait and the food was not anything to write home about. My daughters loaded potato was a potato with a squirt of sour cream, and butter and cheese. It looked unappealing as tasteless. My burger the Phillie which I had so much hopes for was disappointing. I really was sad that it was so blah. The fries however was the only good thing. My daughter asked for a coke and got a diet coke. She was just running around and had only one other waitress to help her and it seemed like they had a new waitress who couldn’t pull her weight. A group of 6 two who were in wheelchairs and one who needed a chair to wait the long 20 minutes before they could be seated because the large tables were taking up with some very rude people. I’m not sure why there was no management present, or more staff but I can say that this is not a place I will return to anytime soon.

The service here is horrible. We came in at 9pm. Three waitresses on duty. Waited 5 minutes for the bartender to come take our order AT the bar. Brought us menus and then she proceeded to go outside to chat on the phone for 10 minutes. I will have to say. she was VERY attentive to the other employees sitting at the bar. Sadly. I’ve worked in the service industry, and am a very good tipper, even if my service is mediocre. This waitress/bartender will not be the recipient of my generosity due to her lack of attention. Have two stars due to the fact that we were starving and did not walk out. The food is generally good.

Well, once you start rolling down hill it is hard to stop… Service might be at an all time low here. Being a member of the local sports organization that the Varsity Club sporsors, we try to visit on a regular basis. But, service has become so bad it isn’t worth the effort. Silverware was dirty, the table was sticky, and there was something on my wife’s chair… but service was worse than ever and our server should never be working in hospitality. We were about to pay and just leave and luckily Nicholas saved the day. After are order was fixed, dinner was good. V Club has some of the best boneless wings around. And, a huge side salad for only $ 4. If they get service in order, this place could be a gem… until then, there are numerous other places in Trinity to enjoy.

I’ll go with the 3 stars since they kept their promise. I asked if the steak sandwich was free of gristle. My server asked the chef who said«it’s melt in your mouth.» Ahhhh no, NO is wasn’t! I spit out gristle and chewy parts left and right! Go to Zim Zari to experience gristle free filet — FORLESSMONEY! The agreement was that if I didn’t like it I would send it back for something else. I ordered one of numerous chicken sandwich choices. It was good, not great. I fear ordering anything else from here and can’t see going back.

We are frequent flyers to the Trinity Varsity Club, usually coming here after games or sporting events. The food is good, have had a lot of different options on the menu and no complaints. The service, however, is touch and go. Some days are quite good and the servers are attentive, other days, it takes 10 – 15 minutes for anyone to come take your drink order. I would rate 4 stars if the service was more consistent.

Great sports club. Multiple TVs, good beer selection, and fresh food. We had the blackened Mahi and all the ingredients were fresh. The décor is a little dated since it was the old Gators but the food is better now.

I must say I am extremely disappointed with the way this varsity club is set up. The bar opens to an outdoor patio area where people smoke. The cigarette smoke then wafts through the entire restaurant and whether you want to smell it or not. Extremely disappointing for non smokers. This is a sports bar, not a dive bar. I should not have to smell cigarette smoke while I eat my food. This is a shame because the food is really really good. The smoke however means I will NEVER go back, or at least until they change the idiotic way they have their bar area set up.
