Have come here a few times, none of which I’ve been impressed. This last time was probably my worst experience. The service is terrible and server doesn’t ever come to the table. This time will have been my last. We were the only table in the place and I had to go up to the front and place my order because nobody ever came over to take it. The server was sitting on her phone at the front the entire time and I had to go up to get any service, while she then seemed annoyed and just says«okay» with an attitude. The soup I ordered tasted like some boiled water with a flavor cube. The sushi was not what I expected at all either, way more fishy than any sushi I have ever eaten. Only thing I’ve ever gotten that wasn’t bad was the volcano roll. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, would rather bring my time and money elsewhere.

Have come here for lunch frequently. They have great lunch specials at very reasonable price. The restaurant is clean and the staff is pleasant. Would recommend

Usually, I come here with friends and family on rather busy nights. Today, I have never been so disappointed from this mediocre sushi joint. The food was delicious, don’t get me wrong –which is why I rated it 3 stars but it lost the other 2 due to service. I came on a late Saturday night with family and the service was terrible. My server didn’t ask us for our order until 20 minutes of waiting. And what really takes the cake is that they came back for our dinner order with headphones in! Also, I noticed a bit of an attitude. Nevertheless, I will continue to eat here because the food is great but better service would be grand next time.

In my opinion STAYAWAY from this establishment. Sorry, I am not PC, but language barrier or not when you operate a restaurant in the USA you have servers who speak fluent English and you assimilate into our culture not your Chinese culture. Most UNFRIENDLY staff I have ever encountered in a restaurant. No conversation especially when we asked for any specials or recommendations. Regarding the food, from the soup that tasted like bullion flavored boiling water, to the old leaf lettuce salad to the smelly old fish inside of the rolls nothing positive about this place. Surprised this establishment is still operating.

I hate writing a bad review but I can’t help myself today. Last night we went to Ichiban and ordered chicken Szechuan and also shrimp Szechuan. To start with the table was wiped down with a wet rag and left wet for us to sit there with wet menus with no silverware, chopsticks or napkins. Yuk. We moved to another table. My husband had the chicken and when he bit into it it was cold. He tried another piece and it was also cold. The broccoli in my shrimp dish was also cold. The sauce on these dishes was not evenly distributed like a stir fry wok dish should be. I started to get very uncomfortable with my husbands cold chicken and they took it back to reheat it. I then asked to speak to the manager and asked if the chicken had been pre cooked as I was worried about salmonella. She said I think so. At that point I told my husband to pay for the soup and let’s get out of here. I think what they did was mix the random ingredients, pour sauce on it, mix a little and then microwave it. YUK. Never going back!

We tried Ichiban for the first time at 8 pm on a Saturday night. The service was bizarrely bad. One employee was refilling all the soy sauce bottles from a plastic pitcher at the bar, and the rest were loudly talking, laughing, and eating their own dinner at a table in the middle of the restaurant. Someone eventually took our order, but then went right back to her dinner and conversation. Nobody ever came back to refill drinks or check on us. They also never brought our check to the table. We eventually walked over to the register, where several employees were engrossed in their own conversation, and waited until they deigned to ring us up.

OUCH! Ichiban Trinity, Florida 2009 This was my favorite sushi place for a long time, fabulous rolls, including my very favorite«Stormin’ Norman», with mango and kiwi and eel and avocado and I can’t even remember what else… it was sensational… until one night when I went with a friend. She ordered a couple of pieces of shrimp(not one of my faves, i usually go for sweet shrimp, raw, with tempura fried heads YUM). She took one bite and raced off to the bathroom to spit it out. When she returned to the table she said«Oh, I don’t like the shrimp, it’s got too much ginger or something.» I said«Shrimp sushi doesn’t have ginger, maybe it has a dot of wasabi but no ginger.» She said to me, «taste it». As I brought it up to my mouth I was overwhelmed by the smell of disinfectant. The waitress came running over when she saw me sniffing the shrimp. I told her it smelled like bleach. She just grabbed the one piece that was left and said she’d take it off the bill. Then I remembered reading articles about sushi restaurants trying to cover the smell of not-so-fresh fish going bad by dipping it in bleach or disinfectant. I was horrified when I read that article online, and was horrified that my favorite sushi place was apparently doing just that. I have not been able to bring myself to go back… they’ve expanded and redecorated, so they must be doing well. But with other great sushi places out there, there isn’t a need to go back. I can live without the Stormin’ Norman. I just can’t live with a mouthful of bleach.

Sushi is awesome here, and their presentation is great. They have a very large menu and serve every type of chinese food you can think of. Portions are a good size too.

Sucks, had egg drop soup and chicken pad thai, place was empty around noon, should have been a clue, food was tasty, but omg, no fun at 3am. Still fighting Montazoomas return. Please stay clear of this spot, if I don’t feel better I am either going to call them or confront them.

I don’t recommend trying this place for dinner. It was overpriced, but I do believe they have reasonable lunch specials. The soup and salad wasn’t edible. The California roll was the only thing I liked. I ordered the shrimp teriyaki and my husband ordered the chicken teriyaki. Both only came with white rice and served on a bed of onions. Reminded me of something you would get at Logan’s Roadhouse. We ate about 2 bites before deciding to go next door and get ice cream for dinner.

Started with the clear soup, which I started calling fish eye soup after the first slurp. It seriously tasted like water out of a fish tank plus soy sauce. Then my girl and I went to order and she took off away from the table before I even ordered my meal! Had to signal her to come back over, and she came over with a sassy attitude like I was annoying her! The woman got basil Thai chicken and I got pad tai. Hers was ok minus the mystery veggies. Mine was nothing short of flavorless. Talk about mystery meat!!! We called it meow mix because there has to be more than one persons pet cat in the food. Asked for siracha and she brought me back maybe a teaspoon for my plate full of meow mix! Never eating here again. Worst Asian food I’ve ever had.

My family and I eat here often whether we are dining in or ordering takeout. The sushi is fresh and they cater to our son who has food allergies. Our favorite roll is the Ichiban roll and the Garden roll. They often have sushi specials up on a board at the front of the restaurant so be sure to check those out before you order! Every night they have half off certain rolls of the night as well. The waitresses are always pleasant and quick to serve us. Even the hot dishes are pretty good! Honestly haven’t had a bad meal and we will continue to visit.

Awful service! Employees hang out by the register to gossip. Place was empty we waited 40 min for a small roll order. Don’t bother going you will be disappointed if you have had real sushi.

Nice, dark, calm atmosphere with a few TV’s on mute. Gorgeous rock wall, great lighting, not your typical super bright light strip mall restaurant! Food was flavorful and fresh. Wonton soup had a great broth. Thai basil chicken was very good with fresh veggies, brown rice was a little undercooked but overall good. Green tea was excellent. Timely service at lunch and great specials. Would definately want to go back and have some sushi here. The sign only says«Asian Bistro» didn’t actually know the name of the restaurant until I found it on here.

This charming Asian restaurant has great food, good service, and a varied menu with some unique twists. Take, for example, the pineapple fried rice, served in a carved-out half pineapple. Not only is the addition of pineapple to the dish surprisingly tasty, but the fried rice by itself is noteworthy. The presentation in the pineapple half is a great touch. The staff, as some have noted, aren’t terribly talkative, and, as also noted, this may be due to a language barrier, but this doesn’t stop them from providing good, friendly service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have been here several times since my last review and have started getting the chicken teriyaki for lunch and dinner. Get this dish for dinner as you get twice the chicken for only 4 more dollars. Unfortunately I had to drop a star here since I re-visited the shrimp fried rice. I take back all the good things I had to say about this dish. You no longer get a plentiful amount of shrimp. They are smaller and way less of them than before. 1⁄3 of them were WAY over cooked! I used to get full before the shrimp were gone… I left hungry today. Sigh… I won’t be back for this and I was getting tired of the chicken teriyaki even though it is VERYGOOD.(Had to emphasize that since I still like this place — hopefully they will rectify the problem with the shrimp fried rice!)

I’ve hit this place up for lunch a couple times in the middle of a work day. While the service isn’t the friendliest that may be due to a language barrier, but without having ever heard the server/hostess actually speak, it’s a mystery. Still, she gets the job done. Seated quickly in the same clean booth both times, I’m in and out within half hour. The egg drop soup is heartwarming and flavorful. The wontons in the wonton soup are a mouthful. The wakame is fresh and tasty too. It’s certainly a couple of steps above your average New York style spots, and in a location that seems to me like the middle of nowhere, it’s a fortunate find!

Sushi is great, service not so much. We were there on a slow rainy Saturday. Tipped the waitress minimal as she was not personal or attentive. Put extra in the sushi chefs tip jar. Not the first time I’ve been, it’s always good!

One of my favorite restaurants! The food is amazing, especially the pineapple fried rice(it actually comes served in a pineapple, adorable!) their sushi is incredible, as are their dumplings. Everything is delicious. I love it there
