Nice place to go to and eat at, cheap reasonable prices for a good meal, make food right in front of your face

Nice little family run place. Items cooked fresh and worth it. Nice service and delicious pretzels stuffed with lots of goodies. The only downside was that it was extremely hot inside. It’s a small place so not tons of tables and the fans just weren’t enough.

When I went I just got a salted pretzel twist. Having just moved from NJ and being right around the corner from Philly and their pretzels, my expectations were high. My family is very picky about pretzels, but these were pretty good. They have a mustard bar that has at least 25 flavors of mustard, plus they have a bunch of other dips to choose from. A downside was the limited seating, but I will definitely be going here again to try some of their other varieties of pretzels

I was looking for something different and found this little gem of a place where the food is great and the staff were wonderful! Had the Cuban pretzel which was very tasty and huge! Nicely done. We will be back! P. S. They just started a reward card program. Buy 10 and get one free.

Very good little business! Not your average pretzel place. Stuffed pretzels here are amazing and the owner is a cool dude. Definitely check it out you won’t regret it.

I absolutely loved this quirky little family-run gem. It’s such an odd concept to have a pretzel-centric place outside of a mall setting, but Penguin Pretzel Factory is managing it. PPF offers a wide variety of stuffed pretzels in both the savory and sweet variety, each with its own penguin-centric pun name. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly and top-notch, and the food is wonderful. Even if you are just looking for a plain old soft pretzel, you will be pleasantly surprised. And, if you are a bit more adventurous, there is a mustard bar with 20+ options to spice up your selection.

Very good, new experience, plenty to choose from. They have certain ones to choose from that’s already made however I prefer the fresh baked ones. I always call ahead because if not it’s a 20 min wait. It’s not a place I’d go to on the fly, but it is however a place if I want a fresh stuffed pretzel ahead of time I go to. There prices are a bit high for what you get, but you’re not going to find a better stuffed pretzel!

Had the pretzel dog. Was good but would try something different next time. My friend had the veggie stuffed pretzel and she said it was very good. Was so filling she took half home for dinner.

What a great concept, what a nice change, and the food was top notch! A small storefront with 4 – 5 tables. Very tight but not uncomfortable. I was surprised on how many food choices on the menu and most sounded appealing to me. My beautiful wife tried the«chinstrap» that was a traditional Cuban baked inside a soft pretzel. I had the«penguino» that was an italian with salami, pepperoni, honey ham, and provolone cheese stuffed in a salt covered pretzel pocket. My wife had jalapeño cheese dip while I slathered my meaty pretzel in a warm and tasty marinara sauce. Now when I first saw my stuffed pretzel I thought to myself, wow not much fillings I guess because I’m used to a deli just piling on the meat but I gotta say when I was done? I WAS stuffed. I expected the pretzels to be in the chewy side but boy was I wrong. Super soft lots of flavor, the highlight of the sandwich. Now in wrapping up this fine lunch was a peanut butter and dark chocolate stuffed pretzel. Amazing yet again. We talked awhile with the owners and they were wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed our experience at the penguin pretzel factory and will return soon to try some other fine stuffed pretzel options.

What a great sandwich! My sweet hubby and I decided to try the penguin factory for lunch and were pleasantly surprised to find a super cute restaurant and hot, fresh sammies and desert pretzels. They have a wide variety to choose from including an Italian, roast beef, buffalo chicken and pulled pork. I love pretzels and I love pressed Cubans. So i tried the chinstrap. My hubby tried the penguino — the factory’s version of the italian. Both sammies were dy-no-mite! The pretzel dough is made fresh all day and the filling ingredients are top notch. We also tried a chocolate and peanut butter stuffed pretzel roll topped with powdered sugar. So delicious! We lied the food and will definitely be back!

Love this place. It has been wonderful every time we have visited. I am not crazy about pretzel dough but the food is phenomenal and makes me crave pretzels.

I was hesitant when I saw the building it is located in but I’m glad I stopped by! The pretzels were large and the staff was helpful and friendly. I got the flipper pretzel and I couldn’t ask for better. We finished with the white chocolate pretzel and it was delicious! The chocolate was wrapped through the pretzel dough! Fantastic. Definitely coming back for this again.

Small family run place well worth going out of your way to find it in the small strip mall. Great service and interesting menu. All five of us had something different and we were all happy! The spinach and feta was the best!

We were in Florida visiting family and it was recommended that we go to Penguin Pretzel Factory. It ended up being a fantastic recommendation! First things first: This space is incredibly small. I probably wouldn’t recommend planning on eating in, especially if you have a large party. Second: If they say the wait is going to be 10 – 12 minutes, plan on it being closer to 20. Those two minor negatives aside, Penguin Pretzel Factory is the real deal. The owner was as friendly as could be and it was obvious that he cared passionately about his business as he went above and beyond with every single person to make sure they were happy. My husband and I ordered a pretzel to munch on while we waited for our order and he threw in a free Coke. A table with two young parents and three kids received free pretzels AND free dessert when their order took longer to come out than promised. Have questions? He’s happy to stop and explain exactly what it is that makes the Cuban sandwich so tasty. Penguin Pretzel Factory has a great selection of sandwiches(all named after breeds of penguins), as well as desserts and snacks. I tried the Cuban after listening to the owner describe it to another patron and it was easily the best Cuban sandwich I have EVER had. It was steaming hot, with the most delicious sauce, meat, cheese, mustard and pickles. We ordered 4 sandwiches for our party and everyone was extremely pleased. As we were leaving I told my husband that I wish someone would replicate this type of restaurant shop here in Chicago because I’d be happy to eat a pretzel sandwich every day. Better yet, I wish Penguin Pretzel Factory would open a location in the Windy City. I’ll gladly be their first customer and free marketing committee.

I was at this place with 3 other people. Everything was AWESOME even the staff. I had a pizza it was really good. My husband had a Italian sandwich and he really liked it. The other people had a pizza and a spinach and feta sandwich they both loved it. They also have pretzels filled with things like chocolate. I was too full to try the dessert pretzels but it’s on my list for next time. We will definitely be going back.

I’ve ordered from here a few times now and I love the food and the people both. The space is small which is understandable considering they’re a newer business that is still growing. On my last visit I was informed that they would be opening a new location in Oldsmar with a lot more table space than they currently have. We’ve had their stuffed pretzels, pretzel dogs, and the everything pretzels as well as soft salted pretzels. The dough cooks up amazing and is soft and fluffy and has a great flavor. Their toppings are good but can’t say I wouldn’t mind seeing a bit more variety in the future and would love to see them really focus on the freshness of the ingredients. The last time I was in we had to wait 10 minutes for fresh food to be made which I am fine with since this isn’t a fast food place. The food came out in a timely manner and we very much enjoyed everything as always. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star is the lack of space in which to seat customers. The location they are in makes that quite impossible to change but with the new store opening up I am excited to see what the experience is like at the location next time we’re in the area. You guys are great and we love eating there. :-)

I checked out the reviews for this place and had to have some. My co worker offered to stop by on his way in and brought some for all of us. I got the spinach and feta. Although I thought that it was more salted than necessary, it was still enjoyable, and kept quite hot. The main attraction was the mustard options, and the cucumber dill served on the side. This is a one man show, so timing is key. I don’t recommend this for takeout since you can only try a finite amount of their mustards which makes me sad.

This place is fantastic! The employees are friendly and welcoming, and they gladly answered any questions I had. I highly recommend the spinach and feta stuffed pretzel with the cucumber dill dipping sauce. It’s delicious! We’ll be back again and again.
