Sun Hing Chinese Take Out

I’ve been eating here for 20 years. The food is really, really good Chinese take-​out. Service is fast and with a smile. It’s a family-​owned and operated establishment. My favorite dish is the Hot & Spicy Shredded Beef. The lunch specials are a great deal for Iona students, staff and faculty. The combos (dinner menu) are also very good, but a little bit over-​priced. I’m a fan of their fried rice and egg rolls. Also, the soups are very good. I especially like the Wonton.
The place is conveniently located, and street parking is never a problem.
NOT a place to eat in, but I do it anyway.
Don’t let the exterior appearance scare you off. It looks like a dive/​hole in the wall, but the truth is, it’s really good, homestyle Chinese cooking and the kitchen is very clean – trust me, I have inspected it carefully on many occasions.

Great food. I always order sesame chicken. I highly recommend you try them out. Very friendly people work at this restaurant.

Very solid Chinese take out with substantial amounts of food, I would recommend eating here over the other local take-​out places. I ate here typically 3 times a week while attended Iona, and ate here a lot in 2010.
The food is well priced and the proprietor speaks excellent English; I had worked with her to accept a gluten-​free soy sauce to substitute and they were able to work with it without cross contaminating my food, needless to say, I was quite pleased.
The wait is quick, but this place always seems to get crowded on a Sunday evening, it’s reasonable to call ahead if your planning on getting anything from there as they will most likely have it ready within 10 – 15 minutes.

i live down the street, i used to eat here almost 5 times a week but they have just fallen off…
i get raw chicken all the time, there is no consistency anymore in their food, you can get great food one day and order the same thing an hour later and its terrible…
idk if its about cutting corners or what but they have disappointed me to the point where i wont walk half a block as opposed to a 15 min car ride to get chinese food.
save urself, dont order from here this is not the same as it used to be and half the time they mess up ur order especially the illegal kids they have working in here (swear to god their 9 year old works here and messes up my order EVERY SINGLE TIME)
so after 3 years of going here i finally had to say enough and good riddance.
