I stopped in yesterday looking for a specific model of Costa glasses… they had them, keyword had as I know have them. Andy was super helpful in assisting me and when I asked questions that I thought may sound«lame» he didn’t judge or make me feel out of place. I asked about sandals and he introduced me to a brand not know by me but are now my favorite; Olukai. The shop was perfect in nature… not touristy and not pushy. I’m not a surfer and I’m not necessarily a local; I live in Winter Park but visit monthly if not weekly during the summer. I have driven past this location hundreds of times and never noticed it, you can be sure I wont miss it in the future.

These guys were really helpful when I rented a board from them last year. Great recommendation on the one I eventually bought!

Great local business off of A1A next to the Publix shopping plaza. If your looking for quality merchandize priced fairly without all the hype this is the place for you. I usually look here when looking for quality flip flops and tees. Featuring: Arnette, VZ, Electric, Quicksilver, Roxy, Hurley, Volcom, Ripcurl, Oneill, Oakley, Reef and Olukai Don’t confuse these guys with the typical beachside tourist shops for souvenirs. They also are very much into the community service so shopping here benefits those in need.

Very cool surf shop with a lot of cool surfing stuff and even accessories for the beach, friendly staff and the place has plenty to look at.

Came by here while in NSB yesterday and as good as ever. This is a core shop totally dedicated to surfing – no mistake about it. You walk in and there’s boards stacked on the floor and blocking the hodge-podge display of tees behind them, people chatting, a kid trying to find boardshorts. They have a great array of boards, clothing, and other goods and fair prices. There is no hype or concern to cater beyond surfing: they’re here beause they love it and I love that. My only complaint is the damn parking lot: park at the Publix shopping center next door and trot over if you value your car’s safety. The Red Dog lot is seriously small and if you park on one side, you’ll have to navigate the back of the building to come around and get out on the other side and this is a very narrow little lane with the back of Red Dog on your right and a little hill rolling down to a bank building to the left. One wrong move and you’ve just plowed your Tundra into a bank. Nice.
