My second visit ever was on a Sunday evening, like an hour before they were gonna close, and they were OUT of ice cream. Only had Chai and something Mocha left, and one of them ran out while I was standing there. Don’t know what they did for the next hour with no ice cream.

I love this place! My beau and I come here as our bonding place. They have great service and the owner is wonderful. I love mixing and creating different combinations of ice concoctions.

I’m in love with Rita’s. I wanted to write another 5 star review but they only give you the update option. The gelati is delicious. It makes me happy. The people that work there are so nice too.

Omg, This Place Is So Good. We Drove From Newburgh To Here Just To Try It Cause My Nephew Suggested It And It Was Amazing. The Prices Aren’t Too Bad, For 2 Dishes Of Ice Cream I Payed About 6 Bucks. I Got Vanilla With Heath Bar Mixed In. The BEST I Tell You. The Workers Are Pleasant, Quick And Efficient. It’s Custard So It Doesn’t Melt As Fast As Regular Ice Cream Which Is Pretty Cool.
You Can Enjoy Every Bite Of It. The Taste Is Really Creamy And Good, Not To Milky. Very Satisfying.

We live less than 3 miles from this place and have never stopped in until this weekend when they gave away a free ice to every customer to celebrate the arrival of Spring.
Getting a free ice is certainly a great advertisement ploy because for someone who had never stopped by we were certainly impressed with the quality & taste of their ices. The ices have a really strong almost natural taste along with very small chunks of the flavor inside. We had cherry flavored so we tastes small chunks of cherry, however the cherry pieces were not in every scoop of ice so no it was not overbearing on the contrary it was a perfect consistency.

Rita’s is our new guilty pleasure! Great variety of Italian ice flavors, and their other treats are tasty too. They are a franchise so you might think it wouldn’t be that great, but they behave like a small Mom and Pop place. Great service, great quality, and they are very involved in the community. The only drawback — bees! They do everything they can to keep the bees away, but the bees are persistent.
