Both my husband and I had micro pigmentation (permanent makeup) applied to our eyebrows by Amy. I did my eyebrows first and had only one regret — that I had not met Amy years ago! I have been drawing my eyebrows on for about 25 years and after having Amy do my eyebrows I am kicking myself for now going to her ages ago. She is awesome, has a wonderful way about her that puts you at ease right away. I was nervous about having a tattoo on my face but have loved the magic she worked on me. She starts by drawing eyebrows on you with powder so you can see what you will look like when she is finished. Before adding the micro pigmentation she makes sure you are happy with what she has done. Another surprise for me as this was my first tattoo, it was not painful, just a little pinching. I love waking up everyday with eyebrows that looks spectacular! After a few weeks with my new eyebrows I asked my husband if he would be a sport and let me draw eyebrows on him to see what he would look like as they were grey and were only about an inch long. I was really surprised that he was willing to go to Amy but he saw how much younger he looked. He has recently been back to his old job and people there could not pinpoint what was different, just that he looked younger. I have recommended Amy to so many people and am so happy that I decided to get my eyebrows done by her.

I have been seeing Amy for eyebrow micro-​pigmentation for many years, and I love it! She’s super friendly, funny, and cool-​which makes a potentially scary process go quickly and easily. The first time I had it done, I was so nervous about letting someone put TATTOO NEEDLES into my FACE but Amy’s a hands-​down pro and my brows look great. I go back every year or two for touch ups, and I always look forward to seeing her.
Some people say that having «semi-​permanent makeup» is high-​maintenance, but I think the total opposite. Amy gives my eyebrows the perfect shape, and I tweeze /​wax /​trim to the shape she creates and they always look great. I used to wear powder or pencil to darken my brows every day, but it would smudge or I would not do it perfectly, and I felt self conscious about it. Now I only have to think about them occasionally, and they look way better.
If you’re considering micro-​pigmentation, I say: go for it! And Amy is 100% the perfect person to do it. You’re in great hands with her!

I absolutely love Amy. Would not trust anyone else with my eyebrows. She is a true artist. She is on the pricey side for micro pigmentation but absolutely worth it!!!
Not to mention that she is an absolute delight, the time goes by so fast while I am in Amy’s hands.

Amy is awesome! I arrived with barely there eyebrows and left with well defined and well shaped brows. She is also sweet as can be and really listened to what I wanted and made some great suggestions re color, shape, etc. She is by far the go to person for perfect brows in NYC!

I’m pretty low maintenance and rarely splurge on beauty regimens, but like the other reviewer I took advantage of a Gilt coupon for eyebrow shaping. I was kind of intimidated when I went to the studio/doctor’s office… well because it looked kind of snooty. But Amy was super friendly and put me at ease straight away. Turns out she mostly fine-​tuned, but the definition really looks so much better. While I won’t be a routine regular, I will definitely go back for touch-​ups.

This is my first Unilocal review because Amy was so awesome I needed to write one. Her space is gorgeous, everyone is super nice and she does amazing brows! She took her time and asked me my opinion and changed things according to my taste while adding some advice. She was so sweet and made it very easy to relax. I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to brows but she did an amazing job. Warning though it is very expensive (up to $ 75).

Erica is amazing with eyebrow shaping. you can tell she loves what she does and is talented at it. So glad i found the coupon on Gilt for this place.
