LOVE this place! i have known BTB for years, ordered-in years ago via the West 55th Street location. Was thrilled when this branch opened up near my current place of work. Their food is delicious! I particularly LOVE their brussel sprouts. Highly recommend this eatery… and staff always so pleasant… lines at lunchtime are usually very long BUT move very fast. They have a well organized staff who move the crowds smoothly, easily and gracefully. Really nice!

This is an awesome lunch spot. Lines may be long during peak lunch hours but they do go by fast since the food is already cooked. Lunch would cost you about $ 15 here but you do get what you pay for. They give a lot when it comes to their sides. The cool thing about this place is that they switch up their proteins(but of course they leave their usual in there such as the herb salmon). My personal go to sides are broccoli, string beans, quinoa, and roasted cauliflower. For proteins, I’ll go with one of their new proteins or the herb salmon. Can’t go wrong with any of these.

A hearty discovery for lunch! My strong recommendation is to come before noon to beat the crowd, and order the protein plus two sides. Today they serve the chipotle salmon as specialty, and I added brussel sprouts and roasted cauliflower as sides. The only complain I would have is that they serve everything cold… Price sightly at higher end — with protein plus sides, it came around 15 bucks.

Really easy to pick up when you’re on the go. Great food with getting through the line quickly. Many different options for dudes as well that make this lace great. I got the Morrocan Salmon and broccoli and corn side salads which were very tasty.

Tried their take-out lunch. Great seasonal options and very fresh! Great selection of protein and sides. Loved their cauliflower side! My new go to spot in midtown.

I am currently enjoying my lunch from here! I got the herbed salmon with roasted cauliflower with parmesan and Brussels roasted with oil. I really like the food but I do wish there was a little bit less oil. Also, it said it was room temperature but since the food was close to the door it was cold. I will deff give it another shot though.

Ok place for an average lunch meal. $ 15 for a salmon and two veggies — everything comes cold. They only serve snapper, salmon and stuffed chicken and turkey as their main protein course and you can add two more veggies. The room is super tight and the waiting line is extended to a dirty narrow storage room. The food amount was quite large for a girl but the taste is so so. Will not come again.

$ 13.50 for lame grilled chicken with two veggie sides. Everything was served cold — the chicken, the broccoli rabe, and brussel sprouts. Line wasn’t that long when I went, but still moved pretty slow. They wouldn’t give me sauce that was reserved only for the chicken cutlet, not the grilled chicken. Would suggest taking your money elsewhere.

Amazing soup. 4 stars because the selection can be limiting and they can run out of some of the better items early. Line can be absolutely crazy sometimes.

Massive portions, great section and nice staff. Could use a little less oil in their dishes, but if you’re looking for a filling, quasi healthy meal– this is a great choice!

Website is under construction and the menu changes daily. I literally just killed my seafood meal… 10 seconds ago. I used a deal on AmazonLocal($ 10 for $ 20 worth of food) but I would totally pay full price for this delicious meal. You need to arrive early, as the store is very small(no seating available) and the line is usually out the door past noon. I got there around noon and there was little to no line. For between $ 10 – 15 you can get a relatively healthy meal. I got the seafood plate and a large split pea soup for $ 20.64 out the door. I got the swordfish fillet with avocado(pretty much a homemade guacamole), the kale salad with apples, and the green bean almondine. Hooooly moly that was freaking delicious and I killed it within minutes. The swordfish fillet, which I thought was going to be dry, was moist and was well seasoned in a lemon marinade. It went really well with the fresh guacamole. The kale salad was my favorite, as it was drenched in one of the most delicious tangy lemon dressings ever. The apples and cranberries added a nice contrast. The green beans were cooked to perfection and were crispy, garlicky, and lemony. The split pea soup was a little chunky and didn’t taste like it came from a can. It did, however, have a slightly burnt taste… kind of like when I tried to make my own split pea soup once and burned the bottom of the pot… oops. Yes, it’s a little on the expensive side and yes, there is usually a wait, but I’d say it’s pretty worth it and I’m definitely coming back once a week. I’m sold!

Great, healthy go-to lunch spot. I’ve only picked up lunch from here for the past couple of months, but they seem to stick with jumbo shrimp, salmon and chicken with the occasional seasonal catch for the entrees. They’re usually marinated and/or sauteed in a new sauce everyday. It’s a bit pricey, but it can be a nice treat to yourself every now and so. I personally think it would be nice to have some way of knowing exactly what the day’s options are by posting them on social media.

Delicious and healthy food! It’s a little expensive but the portions are huge and if you’re like me you can easily get 2 meals out of one serving. Definitely be prepared to wait if you come during the lunch rush because the line gets pretty long. Thankfully there are workers constantly bringing cookie and brownie samples to the hungry people waiting on line.

Long line, but portion is huge. Two sides with your choice of seafood main is gonna cost around $ 15. I love their mojito salmon alot and their chocolate brownies. Go early to avoid the lunch crowd as the line can go all the way to the back but it fast if you don’t mind waiting in tight space.

I bought a deal on Amazon Local for $ 15 — you get a punch card and each punch buys you $ 10 worth of food. Unfortunately, if you get one of the entrees, the $ 10 does not quite cover the cost and I had to put in a few dollars more. However, the quality and taste of the food were excellent — I had mahi mahi with a side of faro and some kind of red rice — not too greasy or over-seasoned. The portion size of the meat or fish is not huge and most of the container gets filled with the lower cost side dishes(rice, quinoa, broccoli etc.) I will visit here again 2 more times to use out my punch card but I am not sure I would pay full price for the entrees. The soup and sandwich prices were not bad so maybe I will try that next time to get a little more bang for my buck

I’ve eaten here over 20 times. Usually it’s very good, but my most recent salmon meal didn’t taste right, and I got horrific food poisoning from it that left me in agony for over 24 hours. It’s on my blacklist now.

The food here is unbelievably delicious. There is nowhere else in New York like it. A true gem! Best entrees, gourmet sandwiches, soups… I’m getting hungry just talking about it!

I have to travel to NYC frequently and stay at The London. Today I needed a quick lunch and didn’t feel like room service so I walked 1 block north and found Between The Bread. What a fantastic find. The food is delicious. I had the glazed salmon — really moist and great flavor, generous portion. The sides all looked great too. I opted for green beans and roasted cauliflower. Both did not disappoint the great beans are perfectly prepared, crisp but tender. I’m thrilled to have found this place, now I have a healthy option nearby on business trips. Also a plus is paying is a breeze. Square has an option to have your receipt emailed. Perfect for business travelers.

Pros: — Great work lunch spot — Seemingly healthy food options with good choice of proteins(chicken, fish, shrimp, etc…) — Great selection of well-prepared and tasty sides: broccoli, quinoa, couscous, etc… — Finally got a «Square» point-of-sale which has speeded up the ancient credit card processing they used to have by about 10 light years. Cons: — A bit pricey at $ 10+ for lunch — and usually close to $ 15 if you get the fish. So — sounds like a good deal overall, right? You get some high-quality above-average lunch-spot food for a slightly above average price. Here’s why I don’t come here regularly: — EVERYTHING is covered in oil. This isn’t healthy. I don’t need my food dripping in oil to taste good — I actually prefer to taste the food itself. This may sound like an overly unfair review — given the other glowing reviews — but hey — everyone has an opinion. OK?

We arrived to a bustling storefront of hungry workers on their lunch breaks hankering for a plateful of healthy, fresh, local fare. On the menu were a wide array of sandwiches($ 7.95-$ 8.95), salads($ 2.95-$ 4.50), soups($ 3.50-$ 5) and entrée portions of chicken, shrimp, or fish, each served with 2 sides($ 9.95-$ 13.95). Menu items change on a daily basis so you’ll never get bored eating here. I tried the herb salmon with Parmesan roasted cauliflower and grilled veggies while Stephanie had the grilled chicken with fennel green bean and potato salad and tomato salad. First off, the portions were GINORMOUS. My plate was definitely enough for two meals, which makes it a great value. Also, everything was super delicious, yet healthy. I could have eaten a plateful of that cauliflower alone and I really liked the wide array of grilled vegetables, including beets and sweet potato on top of squash and bell peppers. There really isn’t a place to eat inside the restaurant, but we took our food down the street to an outdoor pavillion(yay almost Spring!) and enjoyed our lunch al fresco. I definitely want to come back to try Between the Bread’s other entrees and their baked goods. Yum!
