I mostly come here to get breakfast and fruit. Good spot. Very clean and the staff is very cordial. I usually order something hot and it has always been very good. I just found out that they do smoothies so I will be getting them soon. Love the prices also. I usually pass up other delis because of them.

Rude clerk, doesn’t speak English, overcharges customers I bough my work lunch there many times in the past, but never going back there again. if you do go there, be warned — pay attention to what they charge you at the register; they tend to over-charge their customers. Also, I hope you don’t need to talk to the clerk at all because, if you do, you will have to figure out a way to communicate with someone who doesn’t speak any English and, above all, is very rude and dumb. I noticed that she was going to charge me more than she should on a wrap and, when I politely pointed out that the price must be a mistake, she just said«take it or leave it.» I left it! And I’m not going back.

The good thing about walking around for miles in Manhattan, is that there’s always somewhere to stop and take a load off. Also, plenty places to eat. And this place, Printon 56 is pretty good. It’s not fancy, it’s not a restaurant, per say, it’s a pizza joint. Remember, it’s not fancy, it’s the food that counts. Quite surprisingly, there’s a good selection of pizza to choose from. Also, the spinach and cheese calzone is delish. Walk thru the open doorway and there’s a deli. Hot food also served here. Grab something to drink and head to the back of the pizza place and sit and enjoy the food. So, for the pizza and calzones, 4 stars. Good pizza and a place to rest the dogs.

Gross. Just got a thing of chicken chili here and the chicken was undercooked. I don’t want to get sick from my lunch.

Can’t go wrong with this place. Always a solid lunch place and usually under $ 10 bucks. Plain Pizza Special 2 plains + Bottle soda $ 6 + tax. pretty good bargain. Normally do this with a special slice and it comes about to anywhere between 9 – 11 depending on the special slice. Salad right next door(connected) is also a solid choice. They don’t skimp on the toppings and the ingredients are fresh.(about $ 9 bucks for small salad bowl). If you’re getting pizza with a few other people, definitely recommend getting the pie. You can do halfsies and mix any special they have. The guy making the pizza is friendly and nothing better than a just made fresh pie. This is my fav no frills pizza place. Kinda shocking that a Deli does pizza better than a bunch of other places in the city. There’s plenty of seats in the back for you to relax and eat.

Food Poisoning Alert. The first time I visited this establishment was when I first started working in the area and I didn’t know better. I ordered a peanut butter and jelly bagel and they charged me 5 dollars. I said to myself, this is a scam never again here! Then a few months later I came back because D & S(BTW best deli in the area for quality of food and price value) was closed on Sunday. I ordered a salad and a few toppings(each topping is like an extra dollar). Turned to be a 12 $ salad with really few ingredients. And the best has yet to come! Worst part is I realized afterwards most of my lettuce leaves were rotten and there was a funky smell in the bowl. After a few bites I felt really sick and had a terrible stomach ache. I should blame myself for not being attentive. This place is always empty during lunch rush when other food outlets next door are packed. I should have known better that desperate and sad businesses as such will surely not provide fresh ingredients. Come here at your own risk.

Pizza was ok — pricey for what it is, but you are in NYC

I honestly wish I could give this place a better review. However, their food is sloppily tossed in bowls when ordered for delivery. Their pizza is always cold. I like giving restaurants time to improve but this place is consistent with subpar food. Their pizza area is really not pleasing to the eye at all and given the area it’s located in — they ought to renovate it.

Shockingly good pizza. Warning — this is the worst looking place, a total dump. But, very good pizza, amazing flavor. The hours are a little annoying. Closed after 6pm. But, maybe the best pizza by the slice in midtown.

Don’t go. Really mean. I was outside my car getting ready to take my daughter out of the back seat when an employee came out and started unloading all of their garbage in front of my rear door. I asked him politely if he could unload it a few feet over since I needed to take my daughter out and just shrugged me off and continued to pile it up so that I couldn’t take her out. I had to move them myself and ruined a pair of shoes when one of their bags broke all over them.

Best pizza I’ve tasted in a while. Cheese slice is really good. I cant talk about any other food choices because nothing interest me there besides the pizza. I thought about buying a sweet treat but was too much money. Not worth it. I used to walk by and see the pizza and say omg I want a slice. But pizza isn’t the healthiest thing. I usually go to glazed to by salmon and brown rice, but it’s pricey. That day I tried because I only wanted to spend $ 3. Hands down awesome pizza. Service is ehh ok.

I got a meatball parm here and man, the marinara sauce had so much salt that i think it raised my blood pressure. it’s like they used ocean water to make it. Pizza looks ok. Big place to sit in the back.

My wife and I stopped by Priton 56 this morning to order a green drink — kale, apple, etc. Although there were five employees just milling about behind the counter, not one asked what we wanted. We just stood there for five minutes while the staff ignored us. We finally left. A very poorly run business. Disappointing.

I didn’t get to experience the whole New York pizza and hot dogs during my visit, so I decided to come check out Printon 56. The pizza here tastes better than those big chains for sure. I had a slice of pepperoni and I forgot what the other was called, but it was pretty good. I’ll definitely be back next time. This shop was pretty big. They had a lot of other things that looked good on the opposite side such as froyo, salad bar, and whatnot. But personally, I’d just stick to the pizza, ha.

didn’t feel like grabbing a big lunch so I stopped by here for a slice of pizza. The chefs is nice the lady at the cashier is just… don’t want to be there. They wasn’t accepting credit cards but did not announce until you walk up to the cashier. I did not like that. what if I had no cash on me ?? that would be annoying. pizza not the greatest. … prob will try their sandwich n pasta soon

Purchased some Frozen Yogurt with an assortment of topics from Printon 56 and had a bad stomach ache the rest of the night. You can argue that I ate like a fat guy by putting multiple toppings on my chocolate/vanilla mix yogurt or the batch was just not that good. They have a salad bar and sandwich selection right by the yogurt bar. I’ve eaten a wrap and panini in the past and have had much better. I suggest to go to another spot for lunch or fast food as these type of establishments are a dime a dozen in midtown.

Printon’s performance is going down the sink EVERYDAY about a year ago, when I ordered, they were relatively friendly. the ESTIMATED arrival time used to be relatively accurate … a year later(now)… the ESTIMATED time does not MATTER any more. They would NOT deliver UNLESSYOUCALLREPEATEDLY(more than THREETIMES) I have experienced this for 3 times so it is NOT and isolated incident. Each time I wait patiently it appeared they just simply ignored your order. oh by the way, they now market **** $ 9 for 1 qaurt Silk Original Soy Milk **** on Seamless too. Excuse me??? Regardless of the food quality(which is mediocre) the sub par service is unacceptable

Rip off artists… They charged me $ 8.17 after taxes for 3 slices of cheese pizza. There clearly was a sign on the cash register that listed cheese slices as $ 2.00. There is no way 3 x $ 2.00 = $ 8.17 with taxes. I confronted the lady behind the register regarding the price difference. She said the sign was for last month as she ripped it off the register to verify what I said about the pricing of the pizza on the signage. Little did she know, the sign with the prices listed today’s date: May 10, 2013 directly on it. When this this was pointed out to her, she did not own up to HER mistake. I will not frequent this unprofessional establishment again…

Had pomodoro pizza, SO incredibly DELICIOUS and a regular slice. Regular slice, nothing to write home about. It’s the city, so good pizza is pretty easy to find, so that one didn’t stand out but the pomodoro. Oooohhhhh, the pomodoro. It was like my taste buds were dancing. The rest of the stuff seems OK, but it reminds me of Sbarro. Where everything looks tasty and lacks in flavor. I’m not saying it’s the case, I’m just saying when I looked at their food, that’s what came to mind. Would grab a pomodoro slice again in a heart beat. Delicious. Service was slow but OK, prices were OK too.

Holy heavens! Printon has Frogurt(the same brand of frozen yogurt as 40 Carrots in Bloomies). And they deliver. It is heavenly. Great toppings and the same overflowing cups of deliciousness. I wish Printon expanded their delivery range and came to the 20s – then I’d order it at home every night. Here’s to wishful thinking!
