Great place to watch an event… TVs all over and you have a great view no matter where you are… I had one of the best burgers I have ever had and the service was also outstanding… It also has a solid beer selection and tasty banana /Jameson shots… The place had a great vibe and I cannot wait to go back.

Great location to watch the game. Barbara the hostess is awesome. Leah was our waitress and was super attentive and sweet. Definitely request her if you come here! Steak kabobs and wings are amazing.

Pros: ton of tvs 12+, Not massive, plays music during commercials, food is ok for bar food. They give a lot of sauce with their wings. Some great beer cocktails. Try the haymaker if you like blue moon/shocktop. Plenty of seating. Nice modern architecture. Bartendress took the time to ask how food and drinks are and carefully watches your emptiness levels. Cons: loud. which is not really a flaw but if they perhaps didnt blast the music so loudly people wouldnt feel compelled to talk ao loudly.

We weren’t allowed in cuz of men wearing shorts. Yet we visibly saw multiple men in shorts in the bar And leaving the bar. Also they told us «if they let you in with shorts it’s at least a $ 20 cover». When we know there wasn’t a cover for other people. Very elitist for a shitty sports bar. Don’t go. Spend your money elsewhere.

Nice place to go catch a sporting event. I did’t eat so I wouldn’t be able to review the food the the staff, the drinks, Good hip Hop music. Overall a fun place to watch a game with a group of friends.

The entire vibe of this place is just off. At 4pm on a Friday the place was empty and the music was so loud that you couldn’t even have a conversation. I’ve tried this place a couple of times hoping that it would be better and it’s always just another let down. Came here with a few friends for Happy Hour. There was a total of 6 people there including the hostess, wait staff and bartenders. Total let-down for a HH spot. We had 1 drink each and left…

Great place to watch a game. Pros — They get every game — including UFC and BigTen network. The beer list is impressive(Matilda /Sofie /Delirium among others). Food is very good with a menu that is elevated from regular bar food. It is never really packed, which makes it even better if you are meeting friends or want to talk while watching. Cons — staff is really friendly, but does not come around to the tables to check up on you as much as I would like. Probably because bartenders are servers. TVs are a little small. Have to ask for silverware, not a part of their place settings which is a bit odd. Bottom line — I have and will continue to come back here!

My friends and I came here on a Saturday night for 11pm to celebrate me and a friends birthday. We had reserved a tbs prior to coming. The weather was really bad out, due to all the snow, so when we got there, their was only a handful of people at the bar. We got our table and ordered drinks. The waitresses were friendly and accommodating. The chicken fingers were good, nothing to them than just what they were. I had a good night, but the lack of people was a little odd. I dont know if it was the weather or because of the location of the bar, but it was an off night in that sense.

This was my first time here, and came for a girls night out. I was in the area and wanted a warm place with a decent vibe. The staff was pretty nice. Even the server was playful. The waitresses and bartenders ore really pretty. If you’re looking for some pretty women who are quick with their service this is a good place to go. After eating and heading over to the PACKED bar my drinks and all of the drinks of the random patrons around me were coming out reallly quickly. The quickness was not an indicator of quality at all. Everything was super yummy. I would definitely come back during a sports event if I am in the area. The crowd is a mix of UESers, and everyone else from around Brooklyn.

I want to be fair and update my review because I really had a horrendous experience the last time I came here and this one was completely different! I was in the area and was looking for a place to eat and drink so I decided to give this place another shot because I know at the very least they play hip hop. Someone must have taken note of the complaints because this time around every single employee I encountered from the hostess to the waitress to the bartenders were friendly. I decided to eat here as well for the first time and I must say the food was surprisingly good! I had the«naked wings», cheeseburger sliders and the parmesan fries. All very good. Who woulda knew?! Anyhow I would be delighted to come back again for some food and drinks. Im glad they stepped up their service!

Bomb drink special during happy hour. Wish the specialty cocktails were half off too though. Fast and friendly service. Music was a bit mainstream pop but catchy. Plenty of TVs. Laid back atmosphere, love the ambiance. I’d come back to this sports bar for sure!

Went here for nye n highly disappointed in the terrible lack of consideration given by the managers regarding what we thought we were paying for. This brw is the not as busy one I’m told n to start their bathroom situation is just 2 pure shit stall rooms side by side with a sink outside the stalls oddly on its own. We thought the apps/food that wld be available wld of been better than a tray of pasta, ckn parm type thing, n salad just blah. the server Adriana was very nice n sweet and not the reason for our disappointment. Main issue is that we were under the impression of bottle service meaning non shit stoli n when my cousin tried to talk to management they agreed to accommodate us with bellevdere. Or so we thought. Then we get 1 bellevdere n 1 stoli and they refused to just simply give reasonable up charge for the 2nd bottle to be properly switched as well… was a bummer knowing that management was just not willing to accommodate on something so simple. I’d say for nye? Go someone else. I have to revise my initial review n give this place ZERO stars. Considering the occasion of it being NYE. Was just a highly disappointing night that left a bad impression

The extent of my hockey-watching used to be the Mighty Ducks, Miracle, and the ESPN:30 for 30 on Wayne Gretzsky. Buuuuuuut I’ve been(somewhat) converted into a Rangers fan this past season — all thanks to my boyfriend — so when the NHL Winter Classic game was playing this past Sunday, I holed up at Bounce Sporting Club to watch the Rangers-Devils game. The bar was pretty empty save for a handful of Ranger fans, so it was quite easy to get an unobstructed view of the TVs(which are plentiful). When we were there, all but two TVs were on the hockey game. I figure, though, that this is a one-off situation and if one had asked for something else, the bartenders would be more than happy to oblige. Other patrons in the bar seemed to be young & laid-back bros, so it’s a decent place to come when in need of fellow fan camaraderie. The beers offered on tap aren’t all that exciting, but you’ll find the usuals — Goose IPAs, Stellas, Bud, etc. The menu offering was more promising — I’d definitely recommend ordering the wings(!) to go with your beers as they were pretty damn tasty. The guac & chips, you can skip… as it lacked salt(which is blasphemous) and was bland overall. If I’m ever back at Bounce Sporting Club for another game(as of now, undecided but inclined to say no), I’m aiming to try the mac & cheese bites. Or the flatbread pizzas. P. S. Please make it a point to read the bathroom signs. They’re so funny!

The Good. It’s a sports bar, so they have your game on somewhere in the joint. We were celebrating a birthday, and they sent us a round of birthday shots. They have sports bar things, like fried food samplers, buckets of beer and buffalo burgers. If you’re into those sorts of things. The Bad. It also seems to double as a dance club. The music is loud as hell.* The Ugly. The birthday shots were unrecognizable(and I had thought I had taken all the shots), and perhaps the worst thing I’ve ever tasted in my natural life. _____________ *I mean this. I think that if/when I end up in hell, they will be playing this exact music at this exact volume.

Pretty darn good! Stumbled onto this place when we were wandering Second Ave on a Friday early– evening looking for somewhere to grab a drink, chat, and munch/eat. We passed many places whose patrons were on dates, with strollers, or enjoying their twilight years — ie, a bit too quiet and stuffy. Saw this place on the corner and it said«sports bar.» I suggested we see what it looked like inside: young folks, laid back, tons of tvs with sports playing, people drinking and eating?! — Score! This feels more like a small version of the sports bars you may find in the burbs — not very Irish Pub-like, as are many sports bars in the city. They sat us down and the other patrons at the tables to either side of us just started chatting for a second or two with us — very un-NYC. Pretty cool. The menu is a decent size and has a good variety. Lots of upscale-ish spins on traditional bar food. We ordered two starters with the intention of ordering an entrée to follow up. This included the beef satay and the fries. Sooooo good, considering our expectations that we were getting bar food. We then ordered the mozzarella sticks, instead of entrees. Those were just average. Two for one specials with almost every drink during happy hour. And the service was great! Very friendly, good follow-up to see if we were okay, but not overbearing or annoying. I’d go again!

This place has potential to get packed during the week! We came here on a Thursday and managed to find ourselves some wiggle room at the middle bar to put our drinks down. All around good music, and good company. A nice change for your typical UES joint, I’d be happy to come back!

I’ve only visited Bounce on Tuesdays for bar trivia. The atmosphere is trendy/casual. Most people are wearing at least khakis and a button down, if not a jacket. I was sort of surprised because Bounce is advertised as a sports bar, but I guess that’s where the term«Sports Club» comes into play. The food is actually pretty good, I had a wrap and we also had an appetizer of mac and cheese bites(OHMANWERETHOSEGOOD). The drinks are expensive, but I’ve come to expect that at any place in NYC that has a «chic» look to it. The music is almost uncomfortably loud for a Tuesday night(especially when you’re trying to play trivia). Trivia on Tuesday starts at 8 and is very different from what I’m used to. There are three rounds each with 3 categories and a bonus round where you can work together with other players in the bar who have the same color paper as you(either blue or yellow).

All around, not a completely terrible place to grab a drink — but Bounce is definitely not a top destination on my list. Came with my boyfriend and tried a few mixed drinks and honestly I hated them all. They had beers on their menu that weren’t available. they weren’t sold out. the bar was just not serving them any more. so why not update your menu? Wings were nothing special and the caesar salad wrap was oily, drippy and over all unappealing. The waitresses here kind of put me off a little. Super low cut shirts, with stomachs hanging out, fine, whatever. I understand part of your job is to work the crowd. But do you REALLY need to lean down THAT far and close to us while taking our order/asking if we are okay/etc? You’re serving a couple, not a bunch of college boys. Anyways to top off the experience, on our way out, I noticed a girl just sitting at the bar who had peed her pants. With that lasting image in my head, I’m not sure when I’ll be stopping by Bounce next.

Of all of the places to grab a drink and party it up, the Upper East Side doesn’t exactly come to mind. My first occasion at Bounce was for a friend’s birthday, I didn’t exactly know what to expect. I knew it was going to be a very yuppie, local crowd, but I didn’t know it was also going to be incredibly stuffy. It was barely winter and the place was all hazy like a bad instagram filter. While it’s bound to happen whenever there are crowds of any kind, usually good ventilation is able mask the steamy body heat permeating the room. But even amongst the chic loungey ambiance, it was so unbearingly warm. The games on TV were a good distraction and so were the friendly bartenders. What were they putting in my drinks? My vodka soda was potent. So was the rum and coke. In fact, the subsequent drinks I ordered($ 10+) were so strong I had to switch to beer midway so I could still get out of there alive while behaving. If only the music cooperated, the DJ was a little too random with his Top 40 and house combo scratching — a little more hip hop never hurt anyone. I’ve only been around for birthdays and sports games, and while that might be enough, I still have yet to try their food. Perhaps one of these days when I’m back up in these parts, I’ll be able to squeeze in a bite. Or instead, I’ll just be rockin another happy hour.
