It was the best Italian coffee in NYC. Exactly like the coffee in Italy. Too bad it’s closed. I really hope that it comes back soon.

LOVE. The coffee is perfect. The almond croissants are impeccable. The staff is the friendliest! I go here nearly every day that I’m at the office. Far superior to any of the other coffee shops in the area in quality, and in service and attentiveness. A total gem!

Delicious pastries and croissants! If you’re stopping by in the morning before work, be prepared to wait as it can take up to 15 minutes to get a drink or sandwich! Definitely try one of their breakfast croissant sandwiches though – makes me feel like I’m back in Europe!

This place is right next door to my favorite lunch spot in the area. My friend and I were greeted as soon as we entered, and both the barista and who I assume is either the owner or manager answered all my questions. I got a regular iced coffee, which was delicious and brewed perfectly. It’s a tiny space, with not a lot of seating, but the coffee was great. That’s all I need!

This may be my favorite coffee in all of Manhattan. This place is so simple, but so well done. They make perfect espresso drinks, quickly and consistently. They even have a bar to stand at so you can drink your macchiato and go, in true Italian fashion. Not necessarily a great place to sit and linger with a book and beverage, but any time I’m at work and really need a pick me up, this is where I head.

FINALLY !!! This place is what coffee should be. Been coming here for the last 2 weeks owner already knows the way I get my coffee. I get there around 7:45 am, and get greeted like I’m buying 50 cups of coffee. Thanx CIAO keep up the good work

The ONLY place I go for coffee downtown. The financial district’s best secret. I only wish they were open on the weekends.

I would give 6 stars if I could. Wonderful place, nice people, great owner and delicious Italian food! My boyfriend took me once there(he is from Milan) and since then I go there almost every day. Fresh crusty croissant and creamy cappuccino are my favorite ! I recommend this place to everyone. Forget about Starbucks or Financier.

OK coffee, service is very good though. Workers I’ve been around are friendly and cheerful. This place is more like a café(attracts mostly hipster clientele from what I’ve seen) that’s a dime a dozen in Soho and other trendy, over-priced areas of Manhattan. Clean as well.

Going to pop the cherry on this one. This is a super-duper cute coffee spot. Great caw-fee and the owners are incredibly nice. If you need a break from starbucks and its pumpkin propaganda, I’d highly recommend grabbing your cup of joe from here.

This place just opened and THANKGOD because the neighborhood desperately needed a great coffee place! Real, expertly made Lavazza coffee, lovely baristas, and fresh croissants, pain au chocolats, almond croissants etc.
