Dr. Evan Lenhoff, DDS

Dr. Lenhoff is excellent. After two visits, one cleaning and one emergency, I plan on continuing with him.
Having grown up with family working in top tier practices back home, I have been disappointed by and apprehensive of many offices here in New York.
Dr. Lenhoff’s West End location is sparkling, the front desk staff kind and helpful, and the appointment rooms clean and comfortable.
Dr. Lenhoff was knowledgeable and very thorough during both my cleaning and in repairing damaged bonding during my emergency visit. His attention to detail is hugely appreciated — please do be a perfectionist when it comes to dentistry!
Payment at the office is straightforward and the staff always makes it clear about costs per visit and procedure before moving forward. I can’t recommend him enough and continue encouraging my friends to pay him a visit.

I had to have a lot of old dental work corrected and a couple new problems. Dr. Lenhoff and the office staff went above and beyond to accommodate my limited appointment availability due to my difficult work schedule. He is thoughtful, intelligent and very skilled. I couldn’t have asked for better treatment or results. I highly recommend!

I recently had a dental cleaning and a few fillings with Dr. Lenhoff. He was extremely personable and kind from the get-​go. He answered all of my questions and spent time explaining all of the procedures. He ensured I was comfortable and, along with his staff, he made the entire dentist experience enjoyable. I am happy to call Dr. Lenhoff my dentist and highly recommend him to all!

Dr. Lenhoff is fantastic — professional, detail-​oriented and really attuned to your comfort level while he’s working. I needed a ton of external fillings done on account of enamel loss, which involved lots of numbing needles. He nicely coaxed me through the pain each time he administered them, and if you so much as flinch from discomfort in the chair after he’s numbed you, he modifies what he’s doing to make it more comfortable and numbs the area further when necessary. Super pleased with the results, too — my teeth look natural and good as new!

Let me start off by saying I truly HATE the dentist! I have had 3 knee surgeries and would rather have more before I go to the dentist, thats how much I hate the dentist. Almost every experience Ive had in the past has been horrible. Until now. I went to Dr. Lenhoff a couple weeks ago, and let me just say that the he is the best! He is very friendly, and knows how to make a scaredy cat like me feel at ease. He does not mind being asked questions about the work thats being done. When he sees you, you arent just some person on a conveyor. You are his priority. He is very gentle, and makes every effort to make you feel comfortable. He is also very efficient. And seriously, if he werent of such a high calibur, he would not be at Glassman Dental, which has an AMAZING reputation! It is one of the best dental offices in the city, and it houses some of the best dentists in the city. Dr. Lenhoff is a must! If you want an amazing, gentle dentist, especially one who know how to work with us who are terrified of the dentist, he’s the the dentist for you!

Let me start off by saying that I’ve had some very horrible experiences with dentists in the past… And well Dr. Lenhoff at Glassman Dental Care completely blew away all my fears and doubts!
I did extensive research online for great dental offices in the city, and Glassman Dental Care was always at the front of the line… I was still a little skeptical. I mean how could anyone really like going to get their teeth drilled right? So I emailed the office to set up my appointment, and expected to hear back from them in a few days. Nope I had a response the very same day!!! After sending my phone number I was soon speaking to a very kind young lady. After about five minutes of simple questions I was able to confirm my appointment for the next day (Amazing right!)
The next day at the office I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff and asked to fill out a couple forms in the comfortable and very cozy waiting room. Within 3 minutes of handing in my forms I was being asked to come to the back and prepare myself for an exam with Dr. Lenhoff! Now if you remember going to the dentists as a child you remember waiting for what seemed like days before even being seen… then meeting some very unfriendly, and rough hands *shivers.
My experience with Dr. Lenhoff was unbelievable, he was definitely the most gentle and compassionate dentist I have ever encountered. The doctor and his staff worked efficiently and did such a thorough exam. They went through a detailed explanation of the issues, and corrective actions needed. I was explained my treatment options and given all costs for each procedure before any work was done.
I have another appointment coming up in the next few days, and I’m actually excited to have my teeth worked on. If you’ve ever had any apprehensions about seeing a dentist, I would strongly recommend coming here so they can change your mind.
