Nothing like a good dunkin’ donuts coffee after finishing the NYC Half Marathon. Standard DD fare with its signature coffee. The donuts are mediocre(though I’m not a huge fan of donuts) and the service is run of the mill(fast food like) but being on the West Coast, I definitely am happy to have gotten my fill of DD coffee.

I order my coffee… with .POS behind the counter… while fresh pot is being made… he ask me where I was from… I say born in raised here in NYC!!! I ask him why… then he asks me what I think of 9⁄11 at wtc? I thought he was talking about the construction… but he felt the need to tell me that the government did.9/11 and kill ppl that day… and started explaining that he watch a video on YouTube… and it’s real… I WILLNEVERGOTHEREAGAINEVER… AND I WILLTELLANYONEANDEVEIRYONE

This has got to be the worst Dunkin Donuts We’ve been to. We were the only ones in the store but it took forever to get our drinks. Ordered a caramel macchiato, iced coffee, regular coffee, mango smoothie, and blueberry donut. My caramel macchiato had no caramel. It just tasted like regular coffee. When I asked for creamer to put in my drink, the worker sifted through the trash as if to pick up a used cup to pour me a bit of creamer. Luckily he saw me looking and just gave me the entire bottle to pour myself. The smoothie was only a little bit more than halfway filled. Staff was rude and slow. At least my donut was good.

I go here almost every day, at all different times of the day. They are very fast and efficient no matter the size of the line. It’s my favorite dunkin donuts in the city!

No parking, no bike stand, extremely limited seating. I think less than 8 seats and when you do get a seat people are standing behind you inline waiting to be served so it’s kind of cramp and uncomfortable seating arrangement. I believe they should not have seating at all, should be like an express service store. Service is fast and efficient for a DD store. The moment I walk in the morning, the entire crew is alert ready to take orders while people wait i the n line, by the time you get to the register your order is like 30 seconds away from your hands. I usually get my ice coffee here and this really works for me. Prices, we’ll this is downtown NY so you know you are going to pay.

While Dunkin’ is everywhere, not every Dunkin’ is the same. In this Dunkin’ you may be lucky to meet Musa. Musa represents himself well with vigor and humour. He takes his job to a perfect standard, and then pushes past that standard to make you feel welcome. I’ll come back to this Dunkin’ over Starbucks or any other coffee shop.

Granted I haven’t been in a Dunkin donuts in years but this location has a very small selection. I had to pick up munchkins for a meeting and all they had were plain. Subpar.

May seem random to rate a Dunkin’ Donuts, but the crew here is amazing! I pass this location right before I get to work, so there’s usually a sizable line in the morning. I’m never phased by it(perhaps that’s due to my DD addiction) because the team here always gets through everyone’s order pretty quickly. The staff here is friendly, fast, and organized. When I come during lunch time, it’s usually empty, and I’m in and out in the flash. I also love paying with my DD Rewards card. Makes everything even faster, while letting me rack up free drinks. When in Rome, eat cronuts like the Romans do. Yes, I really went to Dunkin’ Donuts for a Cronut in New York instead of going for the real thing. It was actually pretty awesome if you are into that greasy, fattening type of thing. I am totally into the greasy, fattening thing. So I would do it again. Oh, I also ordered an egg white sandwhich to even the playing field. It seemed to have worked as I did not die.

Pathetic service. Two Pakistani guys were extremely rude to me when I went to get a cup of coffee. Stay away, try the dunkin donuts two blocks away

I’m not sure what all the complaints are about this DD location. Every time I’ve been here they have got my drink order right and I got out quickly. My only complaint is breakfast orders which they routinely mess up. Listening is always a good plan in fast food. I know because I have worked behind a counter in fast food. Convenient location for me.

Every time we’re in the east coast, the first thing we do is get a Dunkin Donuts, In this case, we didn’t get to go to get any until we got to our hotel. We stopped in here as much as we could in the mornings to help start our day. A box of munchkins and iced coffee to go. This time, i ordered the Oreo coolatta, it was to die for. The only complaint I had was that there were only two flavors for munchkins, I would have liked more options.

Proud Californian-raised donut-whore, came here just to see what the fuss was about. See, in the West coast, we don’t do donuts. We doughnut like them.(can you say bad pun?) As proof, most of our Krispy Kreme(donut) chains died out; our trends are cupcakes and froyo. **** Here I am in the East, and after 2 days in the NJ/NY area, I’ve deduced: 1) I cannot drive 5 minutes without seeing TWO Dunkin’ chains AND those 2 chains happen to be on the very same street. 2) New Yorkers breath Oreos. Like seriously? Every place has some *NEWOREO* food promo going on(including DD’s, of course.) 3) Dunkin Donuts is all hype. ***** Disclaimer: I didn’t try the coffee. You might be thinking, «The hell did you go to Dunkin for then?» Well, my thoughts exactly. Word on the street, the coffee in DD’s is amazing, but the rest of the menu? Ehhh, not so much. 1) Donuts look nothing like what they look in the bajillion ads — OK whatever, Mickey D’s and the other fast food corps have been lying to us for years. 2) Since it’s a donut chain, of course none of the donuts will have that cakey, doughy, crumbly, taste nor that feeling that it was made by a loving baker(instead of an apathetic teen.) 3) To compensate, some of the donuts are filled with cake frosting oomph. ***** Conclusion: At first I wondered why so many people liked DD’s if there are so many avant-garde and unique donut bakeries out here. Then it hit me — it must be the coffee, which I should try sometime.

CLASSICCHOCOLATEGLAZEDONUTMUNCHKINS (5 stars) Munchkins(east coast vocabulary) = donut wholes(west coast vocabulary) All I have to say is… if they had one on the west coast… i wouldn’t be 105 pounds, i’d be 205 pounds. This is the thing I don’t understand… they have Dunkin donuts stores all over east coast and the island of Aruba(Caribbean) but they don’t even have one in the west coast. Will I be back? YES!!! Until the next review…

They sell coffee. I buy coffee. Pros: Fast. Their crew must have been NASCAR trained because they shoot through lines like… I dunno, really really fast? They have people asking what you want and when you go pay the coffee is waiting there. Coffee is consistent and when you ask for sugar, they GIVEYOUSUGAR Cons: TOOMUCHSUGARSOMETIMES. *twitch* If you ever need a cop in the morning, that’s where they go too!

Mmmmmm Dunkin French Vanilla Coffee Milk & Sugar, please, thankyou. Great new store and I swear I pay $ 0.15 less for my medium coffee here than at other Dunkins. Why? I don’t know, and I am not asking either.

I really have no complaints. The place is clean, fresh, spacious and not crowded. Because I’m socially anxious, this is a huge plus! Also, the staff is unbelievably nice. They joke around, but the service is fast. One time I asked for a sugar raised donut, and the guy was like«oh, you want 6 today?»(I’m a tiny, young woman and don’t eat large amounts of food. This is why the joke is funny). Well, it really was funny. I’m just not good at telling stories. Maybe I should have given this place a 1 star review, so people wouldn’t visit this place because I hate long lines… and people.

Ahh yes! A new Dunkin’ Donuts has finally opened about a month ago in the downtown area. After the one on New St. had closed down and the dubious 1 New York Plaza location, I was glad to find this one. Their website says 19 Rector St., but the receipt says 12 Rector St. so go figure. Clean, large, ample staff to handle the not so crowded 8am morning commute, I was glad to see the line move steadily, less than a minute averaging each customer. There are the normal several tables to sit at, making this a slightly larger than usual Dunkin Donuts found in NYC. I’m guessing since this is so out of the way of most Wall St. commuters, it’ll take a while before word gets round that a new DD has entered the downtown area. Until then, I hope you fellow Unilocalers enjoy your DD brew. Dunkin’ Donuts: Thank you for opening a new downtown location!!!
