Went into the store to pick out a tie for my father-in-law. Was there for a good 10 mins before someone decided to help me. Then I just bought the tie and left. Place is expensive, and unless you’re an older gentleman or shopping for one, you should stay away from this place. I couldn’t find anything for myself.

I agree with Susan about the bland. They sell beautiful suits for men. but shirts, jackets and other accessories are rather boring.

Great store, great clothes, great service! Great sales too! I have always had great luck at this store. They are always helpful and want to make sure you leave the store happy. I love the women’s shirts and wear them to work contantly. Great expereince and sure to please.

I used to buy my ill fitting dress shirts from Faconnable back in 2001-02 when they were still owned by Nordstrom’s and had the retail store where Zara currently resides on 54th/5th. For some reason I stopped shopping there. I dont know why… maybe its the endless other options in NYC. Anyways after a 6yr hiatus and being dsgruntled with what Pink, Duncan Quinn, and Barneys had to offer… I check out an old fav. The relatively new shop in Rock Center is definitely bring out some serious game. Maybe its the new ownership from Lebanon or new designers… who knows? But they are making some fabulous dress shirts for about $ 130-$ 150 with $ 13 more for tailoring. Its a superior alternative to buying slim fit shirts from Pink. So the next time you need some shirts check it out… the rest of the apparel is not to shabby either just make sure you bring some serious cash.

I bought an amazing coat here. And because the place was owned by Nordstrom once upon a time, it’s got on-the-spot tailoring — big plus for a girl who always needs her pants hemmed upon purchase. Also, the help here is damn near slavish. That kind of thing really got me going when I was a teenager with self esteem issues, but now it’s sort of lame. Compliments are very carefully padded with seemingly critical but actually irrelevant questions like«What do you plan to wear with it?» — which you only realize are irrelevant when, while standing in the dressing room, you hear them ask everyone. Speaking of the dressing room — it is very roomy. Like, your high school bedroom roomy. Sweeeet.

Ties galore! Faconnable has the best ties, hands down. Bold and just the right weight, the knots come out perfectly. Purchase one tie at a time @ $ 89 and you won’t have to pay sales tax.

The Facconable Boutique gives its customers much more of a very good thing. I have always been a fan of their men’s clothes, which are available at most Nordstrom stores, but no «Nordy’s» I have ever visited has the huge selection that can be found in this store. The merchandise is first rate, the employees are caring, helpful and courteous, and the location is oh so chic. What more could one ask?
