This is a review for breakfast and lunch: 1. The breakfast buffet is just OK. Omelette station has made to order with a daily special. Today is was pastrami. Great except that they forgot the pastrami in mine. The sides were nothing special. I caught sight of a waffle that someone had ordered and that looked really good. Service is pretty rubbish — same as the service in the old restaurant. 2. The fried chicken sandwich in the warmer was good. I added Tabasco to mine to kick it up a little. It was tasty. Not cheap at $ 14. 3. The macchiato was good. Not cheap at $ 4

If you are use to fried chicken from the south then don’t get it from here. You will be disappointed. Staff was friendly and service was quick.

I was staying at The Hilton and it was snowing outside and freezing! So I went to Herb N Kitchen for breakfast and got the full American breakfast buffet. The selection was really, really impressive! On top of the normal selection of scrambled eggs, potatoes, pancakes, bacon, sausage, and assorted Danishes, I was pleasantly surprised to see pad Thai, fish congee, shrimp dumplings, kimchee! Loved it! Embarrassingly, I tasted everything but everything was delicious!!! They also had an omelette bar with an amazing selection, a bread & bagel bar, an oatmeal bar, a great selection of lox and assorted meats and cheeses, and a fruit bar. The service was prompt and very friendly. Although it cost $ 26, I must say it’s very much worth the price.

Used this for room service at the Hilton Midtown. Excellent fried chicken! It came with rosemary fries, a killer jalapeño cheese biscuit and some wonderful purple slaw. The Mac and cheese here is good.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. When staying at the NY Hilton during both a cold snap and a torrential downpour I certainly do not want to walk outside and head down the street to a low budget grocery store where I can get a decent breakfast. Herb N Kitchen has now expanded to include a restaurant that serves a buffet in the realm of $ 26.00. So they have what is called a grab and go section or you can order from the menu above your head. Either way you are going to pay high prices for mediocre food. For example my first morning I ended up with a bagel with cream cheese and decided to have a fruit cup along with juice. It ran me in the vicinity of $ 13.00. The bagel is only partly sliced. If you want to toast it then directly behind the serving section they have a toaster along with plastic ware, paper napkins and straws. So I have to finish cutting it with a plastic knife and throw it in the toaster to heat it up. They do have a seating area which has a TV in it so you can watch the news or whatever else they have it set to while you eat your breakfast. The only plus is that since you are on the ground floor you may access free WiFi for your device. They normally throw anything you buy into a paper bag and you can decide whether you want to take it back to your room or eat downstairs. They also offer various breakfast sandwiches and pastries as well for exorbitant prices. Believe me you are at their mercy. If you are willing to «brave the elements» then head out towards that grocery store on 53rd St. However, if you are hungry and are under time constraints you are at their mercy. Expect to pay higher prices because you are staying at a midtown hotel. Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

Wow was I disappointed with this place. The hilton gets room service from here. I’ve pasted the restaurant a few times and it look modern and spacious inside. I ordered a chicken ceasar salad and the fries. The salad was prepackaged which was unexpected. The cheese on it was great but the chicken was in huge chunks and the dressing in a cup on the side. The fries were pretty good. They were very well seasoned with grated cheese and herbs. Overall, there are many other places around the area that I would go to and would not recommend it

I absolutely adored this place. Its convenient location in the Hilton made getting food easy. I enjoyed the Mac n cheese so much I bought a few to take home with me to Massachusetts. I also brought back a chicken Cesar salad for my husband as well. The prices are a bit high but the food quality makes it a purchase worth while.
