Huang Da Xian Taoist Temple I Nc

Hmmmm… I walked into the temple just out of curiosity since I have been on a «visit random spiritual and religious buildings» kick and when I walked in, I guess they noticed that I was not Taoist and did not belong there. I was pretty much invisible and no one even glanced my way. :(I walked around a bit and there is a gift shop up in front and then something that seems like a worship area in the back. I must admit I don’t know much about the Taoist belief but the worship area was pretty. I am glad I checked it out, but since I still have no clue after my visit, I have a feeling I won’t be going back. Worth a try though!

This is a Taoist Temple. The way Daoism or Taoism works is everything lives in harmony and balance. You know the Ying Yang symbol? That is part of Daoism, from what I understand. That things exist in harmony, man and woman, earth and water, your back with your front. Yin and yang are always opposite and equal qualities.
When one reaches its peak, it will without fail begin to transform into the opposite: for example, when a seed is planted in the spring, it reaches its bloom in the summer (yang) and then produce more seeds and die in winter (yin). This is an endless cycle and it happens again and again.
The way I see it, yin and yang means the opposites to me. In our world yin and yang exist together as parts of a mutual whole.
This is Taoism to me, I think.
So taking the stuff above… if I write review that is good, the gods is going to smile at me… if I write a bad review… I might as well say bye to everyone now!
